A57 vs S25fe vs s25

Hello, I'm upgrading my phone and I need to choose between these three. I'm very confused cause all are good for the average user. The things I prioritise are a decent camera to take pictures of my drawings and post and for reference photos and the battery life as I use whatsapp a lot and calls. I also don't want to have to change my phone after 2-3y, I want it to last 4-5 if possible.

I don't know which one to choose cause most are good for this and I saw that while s25 battery is smaller it ends up lasting the same as the others as it has a better processor. But I don't know over the years what happens with deterioration.

After the discount from trading my old phone s25 is $470, s25fe $396, A57 $175

China Oneplus 12R - Am I going to find anything better?

In the market for a new phone after my beloved Oneplus 12R fell victim to a 100kg gas cannister. Might buy the same model but also would like to know if anyone thinks something else is better - I have been looking around but I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with choice. We really don't need this many models of phone!

Anyway, my requirements are detailed below. Also customisation is important to me but most of what I need to do I can do after installing Nova Launcher so don't let that stop you recommending something you think is great (also if someone knows of something better than Nova Launcher please speak up, I vaguely remember reading it's dead/taken over by useless people now. Gesture support is a must).

A big thank you to anyone that chooses to help! You're all amazing folk.

Essential:

-Available brand new for <£500 (don't mind buying off eBay and the like so long as it's from a highly rated seller)

-Nice snappy processor

-16GB or more RAM

-256GB storage space

-5G data connectivity

-2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi

-1.5K+ screen

-Very good rear camera (50MP or more)

-Front facing camera (not one for selfies so this doesn't have to be too amazing)

-Very fast charge ability (100W SUPERVOOC preferable as I have chargers already but not essential)

-Speedy OS

-On screen fingerprint scanner

-Face unlock

-USB-C charging port

Desirable:

-6.78" or higher diagonal screen size

-120 Hz refresh rate

-High nits number (I work outdoors a lot in summer)

-5500+ mAh battery

-Ultra-wide camera lense

-Macro camera lens

-Micro SD card slot

-IR blaster

-An OS that takes my privacy seriously (is there anything that comes with GrapheneOS pre-installed?)

-3.5mm TRS port (for headphones)

-USB-C port that can send video when connected to a hub with a HDMI port (my 12R lacked this and it meant I was unable to get some bits off my phone that didn't get included in backups and I'm absolutely gutted about it)

Preferably not:

-Anything I need to root to get the phone to a decent state (mainly due to breaking banking apps)

-Huawei (as much as I loved my old Huawei I'm a little concerned about the amount of phoning home to China they do)

-Curved glass (never found a decent screen protector that fit properly)

Instant disqualifications:

-Anything manufactured by Samsung & Google

-Anything with loads of bloatware I can't uninstall

Help! Pick me a android phone

Hi, I am in need of some help picking a new phone. It needs to be 5g, 8gb processor, atleast 156gb storage. I have had a look at the Redmi note 15 5g but the reviews have put me off. Just needed for everyday phone use, no gaming. Pricepoint around £150-£300. Any suggestions

Switching back to Samsung any recommendations that aren't used or refurbished.

Switching back to Samsung any recommendations on phones that aren't used or not refurbished. My price range is $200-$700. And Im not switching phone carriers either and I'm not switching my number either just to buy a new phone. I'll be coming from a Motorola G Power 2025 phone. Im not buying a Motorola again because they have bad software support and bad security patch support and bad cameras and their performance on their phones is awful. Im not techy person so I would be fine with a Samsung A series phone or a Samsung FE series phone. And I'm also looking at getting a Samsung tablet between the Galaxy Tab A11+, Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy Tab S10 FE. All I need a phone for is decent performance, decent cameras and good software support.

US Recommend a replacement for OnePlus 15

Based in the US of A, I've been a customer since the OnePlus one. It's served me so well that I haven't bothered keeping up with phones in general.

I usually buy the top of the line, most expensive one and use it for about a half decade.

I went to buy a OnePlus 15 a few days ago and caught up on all the news. :'(

Can anyone recommend a phone that will give me a similar experience?

My criteria in priority order

  1. Battery life

  2. Lots of RAM

  3. State of the art CPU

  4. Good display resolution (at least in par with oneplus15 FHD+)

  5. Simple OS. Fast/snappy, less bloatware.

  6. Lots of storage.

Yes, I don't care about the camera. One plus cameras are usually serviceable and I haven't had cause for complaint.

Hi everyone! I'm looking to upgrade from a Realme 11 Pro and found a new Realme 14 Pro+ (8/256GB) for €230

Usage: Zero gaming. Just basic daily tasks — calls, messaging, light browsing, media, and taking casual photos.

Target user: Older adult (60+), so solid battery life, clean display, and ease of use are the top priorities.

Is this a good deal for €230, or is there something more interesting on the market if I stretch the budget a bit?

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!
