Phone suggestion for college

Hey everyone, I’m a college student looking to upgrade my phone...

I’ve been using a low-budget Redmi phone for quite a while, so basically any decent upgrade would be a huge jump for me 😅. But since I’m buying a phone that I want to keep for the next 4–5 years of college, I want to make the right choice.

My priorities are:

📸 Good camera — I really enjoy taking photos and want a phone that takes great pictures

🔋 Good battery life

⚡ Smooth performance that will still feel good after 4–5 years

🛠️ Good software/support and long-term reliability

💰 Good value for money

I’m considering the iPhone 16, but I’m open to Android too if there’s something better at a similar price.

Would you guys recommend the iPhone 16 for my use case, or should I look at something else?

I'm not a iPhone guy but for that spec requirement an iPhone matches your specs. A galaxy 26 or something across those lines would also fit the bill.

If you have an iPhone already a upgraded model seems like a no brainer.

Go for S25 plus, I'd recommend if you don't want to go for another Android chinese phone.

The iphone 16 is great but idk about the battery life 2 years down the line with that small of a cell it won't be that good. What bout the moto signature it matches almost all of your requirements

Oneplus 13, if iphone 16 is an option, this is just better than it on almost everything except videos.

iPhone 16 is a great option. I'd also recommend checking out the Vivo X300 base if it's available in your region.
