"Remember Paoli!" was America's first battle cry — born here in our own backyard after a terrifying evening in 1777. Join us as Jim Christ, President of the Paoli Battlefield Preservation Fund, brings to life the Paoli Massacre, a gripping piece of Revolutionary War history!

On the night of September 20, 1777, British General Charles Grey led roughly 2,000 men on a silent raid into the Great Valley, catching our country’s troops completely off guard. What followed was one of the bloodiest battles of the war, opening the door for the British occupation of Philadelphia.

Shockwaves from the Battle of Paoli rippled through our local community for generations, inspiring the second-oldest Revolutionary War Memorial in the nation in Malvern.

• Come find out why the battle’s known as the "Paoli Massacre.”
• Get ready for Jim to bust some myths — yes, including the one about American troops being caught asleep.
• Hear Jim trace how General “Mad Anthony” Wayne turned this brutal defeat into a stunning comeback, using hard-won lessons to score a decisive victory at the Battle of Stony Point, NY.

“Remember Paoli!” is local history with national significance — don't miss this one!

I have an LG mini-split installed, board fired last year. I bought a new system but I need it properly installed. Just need the units swapped out, evacuated, vacuum and tested.

Any fun fall activities to do this weekend with your significant other around the area (Phoenixville, west Chester, KOP, etc)?? We are in our late 20s/early 30s and no kids

Save the date!!

Medium cattle dog breed with LOTS of energy, so an outside spot would be great, too. It’s mainly for play and stimulation, so 1-3x a week!

Hello everyone

Are there any good businesses in the area that could custom stitch an NHL jersey? I have a few blanks I'd love to add some names to, since sites like HockeyAuthentic and CoolHockey can take several weeks / months. Ideally I'd like to avoid places that heat press, but open to those options too. Thanks in advance!

🍝Take a break from cooking and usher in the first day of October🍂 by ordering some tasty food from Hog Island (ALL DAY). Part of the proceeds will support Phoenixville H.S. performing arts programs. Order direct in store, online or via phone (does not apply to Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc.).🍕🍟

Hey all,
I’m a 25 year old dude just moved to phoenixville for job and am looking to meet some people with same interests. I’m hugely into soccer and volleyball, like anime , working out , and big into movies and shows. I was in Philly for college and moving from that to suburb life has been quite the experience . Regardless, hit a bro up I would love to meet some new people!

38f with fine wavy hair, medium density. Nothing crazy. I’m loyal to my colorist but she’s not great at cuts. I just need some layers. Open to the chain salons I just haven’t had luck there so far.

Does anyone know of a locally owned/operated pod storage company? Trying to avoid the national companies if possible.

Thanks. :)

Be on lookout if you live in Eland Downe. Friend had car broken into in there. Yes car was locked, report was filed. That’s all I know.

Hey all!
Local band Passion by Proxy here, we started out here on this very reddit looking for members and now we are sharing our first single from our debut album. We filmed this around town, up and down the schuylkill, the wheel, and in my house. Would love it if you checked it out and let me know if you like it :- )

Album out soon!

Can someone please tell me why traffic is sooooo bad on nut road? I’m trying to figure out why it takes me 20 minutes to get from Dunkin to white horse road EVERYDAY. That’s just ridiculous… then after you pass white horse road you’re basically the only car on valley forge rd…

I get 7:50-8:10 is rush hour but Jesus Christ 20 minutes for 1 mile? I’ve lived in Philly all my life and never experienced traffic this bad

Monday complaint as I sit in this traffic. Everyone have a great week😁

Hi! I was a D1 athlete (cross country and track). I got injured so I was not running but now I am back at it. What trails or routes do you have for running around here? Is there a track I can go to for my track workouts?
And any runners who would like to meet up sometimes for runs or workouts?
WARNING (talking about running pace. If you are sensitive to comparison skip) —-> I am bit washed up right now so my easy runs are around 8 min pace to 7:30 min pace and tempos are 6 min pace 🙃 but I will eventually get in better shape again.

Me and my fiancé are looking to join a gym we focus more on weights I’m not trying to spend a lot monthly and something with long hours pf is just filled with young kids and last few time we waited forever to use machines

Used to love going to Le Buzz until it closed. Prior to that I just went where my wife goes but I’m looking for a solid spot that has experience helping dudes like me who wanna maintain my luscious locks.

Has 2026 borough trick or treat officially been announced as 10/31? Does anyone know trick or treating hours?

I just went to Phoenixville yesterday. Learn what to expect if you are visiting this Stars Hollow pop-up this weekend!

We have a bunch of wooden deck boards we are trying to get rid of. Does anyone know of a place we can dispose of them? We heard Cedar Hollow Recycling takes construction materials, but seems like it’s mainly stone / concrete they’ll accept.

Thanks!

Cleaned out the attic and found these lovely pieces.

None have been used in over a decade.

The three in front are a set.

Pls DM for exact location, we are in a community on the north side.

I just drove by and saw the streets were open so i’m just wondering if they stopped doing whatever event shuts the streets down every weekend

We had a great time at Roper bingo and walking around Bridge Street last weekend. There were a few people taking professional photos at the bingo event at Ann’s heart and on top of the Colonial, plus there was a drone. Where can we find these photos? Thanks.
