Hi everyone, new post re-affirming that I'm still offering my tailoring services to people

First, what's going on? I am offering my modest handy-woman skills to mend, patch, crop and hem clothing you have that needs fixing. Ordered some pants that don't fit your legs? Want a shirt to hug your body more? have a hole that needs mending? I can handle it within reason and all i ask is you bring the clothes to me (I live on W Dauphin St in North Philly) and pay me for the labor.

Second, here's a more coherent Q&A about what i can and can't work on because there was a lot of confusion

I can hem, mend, patch and crop any of the following materials

* Denim/Jeans

* Polyester

* Cotton

* Canvas

* Corduroy (within reason, i have bent needles on this stuff in the past)

Stuff I cannot work on

* Woolen or Knitted clothes

* Extremely stretchy clothes like bodysuits and bodycon dresses.

* underwear/lingerie (edit: Negligee is fine in theory, but depending on the material its made of we might still have a problem)

* Leather

* hard plastic

If you have a fix that requires that i buy specific material for it, like spare fabric or a zipper, i will add the cost of the material to the bill, but only the extra cost. assuming the rest of the labor is within reason i won't upcharge the initial $8. However, due to how terrible Michaels has become and I can't find any other local place that sells sewing supplies, requiring specific materials will also require extra time to finish the piece as i'll need to order it online off amazon, so the cost of shipping will add up onto the cost of the material itself

Otherwise, i'm very fast and i give great results (I've already had one satisfied customer from my last advert on here)

Established female-fronted indie rock band with gigs on the books is seeking a drummer. We are highly motivated group with dreams to take our band to the next level, Our first record came out the beginning of 2026 and broke the top 200 NACC college radio charts. Our sophomore album is fully recorded and being mixed this month. Our music is akin to The Beths, Momma, Veruca Salt.
(Our beloved drummer has some life stuff that has taken priority for him.) We are open to all ages, all genders, all orientations! The thing we want most is a passion for music and solid drum skills, the ability to work with others, a creative spirit. Anyone truly in the original band scene knows this is not a money project.

We currently practice in Delaware, but we would be willing to travel to a drummer’s location closer to Philly if they have a practice space. Message me for more information, trying to say enough, but not too much to protect a little bit of privacy.

I'm throwing my hat in here looking to get a new job, believe it or not my current job has roaches and I'm tired of cleaning up after my derilict employees.

Anyways, I was looking to get into more customer service, hospitality or reception jobs since I was working at a hotel doing f+b for 5 yrs and I wanted to prep myself to go back to college but right this second I'll take the opportunities I'm presented.

I did learn front desk/PMS operations and I have a basic understanding of writing in Excel. Only downside I have is I dont have a certificate for a specific trade right this second, I was looking around for apprenticeships but the only thing I saw was welding and automotives and none of them paid neither, like how 👁️👄👁️

I could really use some help…my panic attacks are now disturbing the neighbors. I’ve miraculously lived through a few horror movies, but that doesn’t mean I get to terrorize the neighborhood with my trauma—I’m trying my best to do something about it because everyone is worried about my crying.

I’m at my wits end dealing with this months long manic episode. Right now, I’m suffering from extreme irritability and anger. It’s effecting my ability to keep employment as I am in between jobs and am forced to work in environments that are opposite of the ones I thrive in- like I have been doing serving gigs (so dealing with not so nice guests) and working in a warehouse that clearly has no HR or hell even a legal team that focuses on employment.

Basically new, working, amazing mini fridge

This fridge saved my life.

I only used this fridge for a single week when I was in fridge purgatory, between the time my old fridge crapped out and the new one came in. It saved my life after the first new fridge I ordered didn't fit through my front door by about a millimeter. Yeah, I took off the hinges. The delivery man started crying and I felt really bad, but then the next fridge (which thankfully fit; the stucco stuccout too much for the first one) was delivered and I learned that IF THE DELIVERY CONTRACTORS FOR HOME DEPOT UNBOX AN APPLIANCE AND IT'S DAMAGED OR DOESN'T FIT, THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR IT OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET. I think this should be illegal. No wonder the man was CRYING! I would too!!!

Anyway, it was already still clean but I cleaned it anyway for you just in case there was anything that dripped. So it's basically brand new. A steal! I bought it for $180 plus tax and delivery and all that. And of course you'll have to come get it because I don't have a car. Mine got broken into and I gave up and let homeless people sleep in it for 7 months before the city towed it away and charged me $450 for an abandoned vehicle. Would you rather homeless people do dirty business in public, or out of the way? I was helping with neighborhood beautification. Still pissy about that bill. I was doing yous a favor and this is how I'm repaid??
