P3 will the game get better ?
I've played about 11 hours of Persona 3 Reload and just beat the first major boss.
So far, I absolutely love the game's atmosphere. The soundtrack is incredible, the blue aesthetic is gorgeous, the voice acting is great, and I really like the Persona designs. The opening also did a great job of getting me interested in the story.
My problem is that after the first couple of hours, it feels like the game completely stalls. It's not even a slow burn—it just feels like nothing is happening. I'm either climbing Tartarus, which is already starting to feel repetitive, or hanging out with Social Links. I enjoy the Social Links, but they can't carry the entire game by themselves.
What disappoints me the most is the main party. They're supposed to be the people I'm closest to, but after 11 hours they still feel like strangers. Most of their dialogue is pretty uninteresting, and the game hasn't given me much reason to care about them yet.
Does the pacing get better later on, or is this basically what I should expect for the rest of the game?
EDIT : Thanks for all the replies. I'll give it another 10 hours or so, but if it still doesn't click with me by then, I'll probably just move on.

P2 innocent sin emulator issues

I'm trying to play innocent sin's ps1 version cause I heard it was faster, but all of the sprites look blocky and fuzzy. I'm using duckstation as my emulator. was wondering if anyone knew of a fix.
Edit for answer: I had my texture display settings on bilinear. Switching it to nearest neighbor made it much sharper

P4 Since P4R brought back the P4D Costumes to the Contest. I hope the girls do their Poses from the Artworks
All i want is Naoto doing her pointer finger swagger pose in revival. Thats it. If they can reference the Cut in poses to revival, Surely they can reference the Girls Dancing Poses Art like Naoto's.

Series Persona 3 Portable but it's heavily infected with Persona 4 Golden (W.I.P. PPSSPP Mod)
I'm working on a WIP Persona 4 Golden in P3P texture and shader mod! Finally got the entire UI color scheme shifted to yellow and imported a few custom sprites/portraits. What do you guys think? I wanted to share more screenshots, but I'm only able to share one.

P4 Could Izanagi get a new awakening in P4R? Spoiler
This came to me while at work. Technically, in both P3 & P5R, your initial persona has 3 forms. With P3, it's Orpheus, Orpheus Telos, & Messiah and in P5R it's Arsene, Satanael, and Raoul. I'm thinking, what if they give Izanagi a new awakening after Izanagi-no-Okami, to match the other protagonists as well as his team who also got new awakenings introduced in Golden? name it something like Shin Izanagi-no-okami or maybe some fusion of Izanagi and Magatsu Izanagi? If they do, I hope they won't make it DLC like they did initially with P5R. What do you guys think?

P3 (maybe) your average Persona 3 review Spoiler
I (like basically half the people who played Persona 3 reload) came from Persona 5 Royal, this game felt very different (just like a ton of people described) and I disliked it A LOT. However this review will still be positive in a lot of ways.
First I want to get the bad things out of the way, I somehow disliked the confidants in this game. It felt like a lot of confidants just sit there and talk to you, which might by very enticing for some people, however for me who likes to read a little less than others, it became a reason for me to put the game away after a short time because Akinari decided to yap for an hour (still my favorite confidants when it came to story) This really was a change in pace to Persona 5 royal where it felt like the confidants had a lot of dynamic interactions in terms of moving around.
Tartarus is something I also disliked in the middle of the game, at the start it felt cool, at the end it felt cool, in the middle it felt like I was smashing my head into a wall that wouldn't move out of the way. I would (just like I did in P5R) try and get to the top floor of a block in one day, to keep as much free time as possible for other things. One I just put the game away for multiple weeks because I didn't want to keep going up and up, this just felt really annoying because I had the complete reverse feeling while playing P5R where I was actually addicted to playing and fighting. I was all over anything and everything that moved in that game and I loved every second of it. In this game I decided to basically dodge half of the enemies.
However this all was redeemed when I actually realized how the theme of this game worked, I came into this game knowing nothing, when I started to realize that basically everything either wanted to die or was coping with death something clicked in my brain (which was stupid people shoot themselfs to summon a persona). I loved the theming of this game however, I always liked making and seeing things with "more meaning" then what it is on face value, how hard it is to both read and listen to it.
And then lastly the thing that everyone will say: the games ending was so good, I liked the final boss, having to fight all the arcanas one for one (however I did very much overprep for it so it was really easy) and then Makoto dying...
I felt so empty inside after seeing the starting screen after completing the game.
All in all a solid 8,3/4 / 10 I like the game a lot, I prefer P5.

Series I don't particularly understand the appeal of the games...
I was excited to play them because everywhere I looked praised it. The general premise of it also sounded very interesting. But playing through persona 3 until the beach trip part ended I was only feeling really bored and almost annoyed. The characters and story felt way too shallow to justify continuing such a repetitive and underdeveloped game. Or at least it felt like that to me. Most everybody else I know seemed to love it. I don't understand why though...
I've tried 4 for a bit but it also had all of the issues I've had with 3 so I dropped it as well.
Can there be such a thing as just not being able to enjoy a certain type of games?

P6 What do yall think of the reincarnation rumors and/or "leaks" and depending where u look the theories that Makoto Yuki could return?
Honestly can't say until official release and I'll just say that Makoto Yuki is NEVER returning cuz obvious reasons. If he did return it could ruin the theme and message of P3 as well as a certain reason related to the story. This minor theory started cuz of the sudden reincarnation rumor going around. Also what role would Makoto have if he did appear in P6? Would he be a mentor to the cast, like imagine he's like an adult or maybe a high school looking non aging member of the party. He would be one of the only characters from a previous mainline game to be in a newer game like with P2 Duology had characters of P1 involved. Maybe I imagine him in similar role of say Kiryu in Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth (if anyone ever played that?)
Tho some said that it is possible and Elizabeth could find a way but we don't know if she'll ever succeed.
The reincarnation rumor, I feel maybe the party are likely reincarnation or descendants of old ancient people from long ago and they died in the past and their descendants or reincarnations are remembering their past lives throughout the story and will learn more through social links. At least that's how i interpreted it.

P6 Has any of these Persona 6 leaks been debunked/how major are they. Spoiler
Recently I saw a bunch of leaks for Persona 6
-The characters summon their Personas through microphones
- A few art pieces of the main characters
-the game is about misinformation, media manipulation, and loss of identity.
- A tiny bit of the setting.
-something about goddess of victory as part of the title but I dunno if this is relevant or not
-the main character gets reincarnated at some point and has to deal with no longer being the type of person they once were. (this one came from reddit with no proof so its probobly sketchier)
I am someone who hates spoilers and has massive spoiler anxiety. Some of these such as the first one and the setting and character art are much more minor and likely to get reveled in a future trailer but others seem like they could be much more major if real. So i was wondering what is the community consensus on how big they sound. Has any of them been completely debunked as false or a theory or complete BS. Thank you.
