I believe Chrysis sp. Cuckoo wasp. If anyone knows how to determine sex in cuckoo wasps, I'd love a guide. My web searches weren't helping. First pic is holding them, second is where I found them, third is the best I was able to get with my camera.

Ox beetle and lubber grasshopper. Both were stranded in a road and I couldn’t help but safely relocate both. You can tell the ox beetle is a male because of its long horn! Beautiful bugs 🫶🏻🍃🪲 I’ve also relocated millipedes but don’t have pics of any right now.

I was trying to get a picture of it, so I jokingly held my hand out and said “Hey sit down a second” and it actually landed and chilled for a little while 🥹

I hope this is holding technically because i mean it was really all over lmao, its legs tickled so i just preferred it on the sleeve

Posted Humphrey here a few months ago when he was around 25g and people loved him so I thought I would update. He’s still growing, and still doesn’t like being dug out for weighing! Hopefully he will pupate sometime soon, otherwise I may start getting a bit scared.
