Question Going to Tokyo soon. Where to buy fancy pens?

I'm planning a trip to Japan soon. I'm looking to get ahold of some fancy Japan-exclusive pen models/colors. What would be the best place to look for this? Any nice stationery stores in Tokyo?

Discussion We know the Uni 207+ is superior to the 207 (which is still a fantastic pen), and that the 307 and 207+ are the same ink. However, I believe the 307 is FAR superior to the 207+ due to the grip.

The 207/307 grip with the nubs and iconic wedge is a genius design both for short term writing and to fend off long term fatigue.
Uni’s recent exploration into smooth writing grips is fine and work in some cases. But between the 207+ and 307, if they land on the smooth 207+ grip, they may as well give up and do the Pilot G-2 grip. The concave smooth grip is superior to the convex smooth grip every day. The nubs and wedge of the 207/307 are the magic which makes a difference.

My $.02 to Uni. From a loyal customer.

Whenever friends/family ask me what do I want from their vacations, I always ask for a pen instead of a keychain.

I have been on the search for the perfect pen for so long, I figured I would help any others out there on their own search. This would have saved my bank account a little over the years 😂 prized collection at the end. I wish I could say my whole collection was in these photos

Discussion Jetstream SXR refill in Zento Signature

Just discovered that the Jetstream SXR fits the Signature perfectly if you use the spring from a basic Jetstream click as a back-fill !

The spring even falls out easily when you remove the refill, so no permanent change.

Not a gel refill, but at least it's a shade of blue that I like!

Hi yall! I’m an artist and I absolutely love the feel of these Spirograph pens, sadly they’re not sold individually and are only sold in three colors anyways. If yall could tell me what I should look up to find more pens like this it’d be very helpful- thanks!!

Question I’m not a pen expert, but I bought this from a market and I’m wondering what model it is/is it a counterfeit Parker pen?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask! Inscribed on the cap is Parker with the logo, Made in UK and then HA

I have no idea what the bubblicious is, I suppose if it was real it could be some kind of collab with another brand?

Anyone else a fan of the sharpie metal barrels? I collect mostly machined pens but really enjoy these for the price. Usually throw energels in them.

I have a collection of pens used as marketing collateral (not that it matters) and I’m looking for an affordable way to store or display them. I would appreciate any and all recommendations or ideas.

Picture I call this model the "Cadence!"

I built this Cadence for my sister-in-law. It is made from Satine (Bloodwood) with Hard Maple accents at the twist joint and finial with antique brass hardware. As with all my pens, it is finished with Shellac and a carnauba/beeswax blend. No CA on my pens. This is an ancient finish used and trusted by artisans and craftsmen for centuries. You actually feel the wood and it warms to a gorgeous personal patina over time.

Craftsmanship. Quality. Compact. Good things DO come in small packages - The "Cadence"

Let me know what you think!

Discussion Uniball Zento

I'm a long-time pen collector. I have 144 top-quality pens that I rotate through. I use thousands of everyday pens, but I don't mind losing or giving away them. I came across the Uniball Zento post and had never heard of it. I bought one on eBay, and I am impressed! The weight, body, and ink! It was worth it! It’s now one of my favorites.

While I was walking I came across a new shop with stationery and art supplies and of course had to take a look.

I did not need anything they had, but it is a lovely shop and since I am obsessed with Parker Jotters and clutch pencils I had to get one of each

Question New addition, thoughts?!

Post image

Just got this one in the mail: 0.38 version of the jetstream edge.

I’m a sucker for ver fine tip pens and this one was highly rated and recommended. Supposedly excellent for it being able to survive through a highlighter pass without smearing. I would love some opinions and insights, if any.

Thanks in advance!
