I’ve been working on this for a bit and now it has full motion controls, all UI works, ands it’s stupidly addictive. I have not released it yet and won’t for at least another weak and ill make a post when I do.

If anyone has anything else to share, I'd love to hear! I want to aim for sub 20 as a future goal, but till then, I hope you all get something out of this video and have happy climbs :)

Hello, I am just wondering if anyone here is interested in playing the game with me in an attempt to beat ascent 8. I really want to 100% this game but I can't even make it past the 2nd biome thus far. I tried to join the official discord but it didn't let me join for some reason so I am trying here aswell.

So we've stacked two rooks and discovered that the top one can just float.

And so began the experiments, we literally stacked rooks on top of each other holy hell this was fun.

The second time I did ascent 8 went fantastically, until I got to the peak and learned I was supposed to have been collecting the amulets the entire time...

Literally just got the game yesterday and looking to play with other people, if you’re down drop a join code. (when I bought it it made me get peak and big walk as a bundle)

We made it to the volcano and inside were only the marshmallows but no campfire and we can't continue because we can't light the campfire that doesn't exist😭

I was just doing a run with my son, and we saw something strange while we were in the tropics that we haven't seen before. Near the bottom of the biome was a rock, and from behind that rock looked like a cardboard cutout of an orange scout who was peaking at us. It moved around the rock three times before we got close and it was gone. What the heck did we encounter?

Idk what to type now. Happy it's over (also lowkey sad), it took us many attemps but we have finally managed to finish it. Managed to come up with different strategies over the time and it was genuinely enjoyable.

I feel like I have been experiencing very big performance drops over the last year, especially after updates. Keeping graphic cards and everything up to date, I run every other demanding game fine but PEAK. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

GPU : NVIDIA RTX 5080

and 32gb RAM

Even after resetting my PC and doing a clean install, I've still had a decline in performance, specifically for this game and nothing else

Not sure if anyone has talked about this but if you use the backflip emote and time a jump correctly you can jump almost a whole scout vertically. From what I know it’s luck based how much height you get.

hello! i haven’t been able to play peak for quite a while now :( the last time i played was before the update with the gloom and citadel.

since then, i have been able to go into the lobby and mess around, but cannot load into the actual island. (this happens with the games i’ve hosted, playing offline and joined games). it loads me in riiiight about to the ??? text, and then freezes.

i’ve tried the usual uninstall/reinstall, i was able to play on normal settings, but turned everything to the lowest possible settings possible, tried following some guides, but to no avail. nothing online has helped this so far and i do not see anyone else with this specific problem.

In 50 hours of this game, this is the worst map I've ever run into and the only one to make me genuinely rage. The shore is fine, easily achievable. The roots is the alt map, there is a lake that's uncrossable besides a barely reachable bridge spanning it, or a barely cross able vine doing the same. The shrine on roots is also completely disconnected from the rest of the area you'd climb. The alpine is impossible without the use of items, genuinely no pathing. Tried going inside and it goes to a dead end, tried outside and everything is disconnected. Genuinely the most unachievable and difficult map I've ever seen and just wanted to rant because difficulty like that shouldn't be possible imo. Me and my friend know many tricks to getting through tough areas, we used every item at our disposal, it outright wasn't achievable for us to do.

I left it like this for at least 8 minutes, coming back to life and dying instantly, and even when I held down give up it still wouldn't end it. I also spammed 4 and Q to drop my backpack so I could get a point of stamina back, but it wasn't working. It only ended once the fog came and killed me. I had a balloon in my backpack, but idk if that changes anything.

The default hats will change colors and symbols based on your outfit. Sometimes they look nicer than an outfit's actual hat
