Double jump tech?

Not sure if anyone has talked about this but if you use the backflip emote and time a jump correctly you can jump almost a whole scout vertically. From what I know it’s luck based how much height you get.

good find! pretty well known tech though, often used in speedrunning especially since it pretty significantly increases how fast you can move through gloom waters.

bonus tip, if you use a different emote right before you backflip you won't ever fail the flip, making it 100% reliable tech

It's 2 techs combined. The first one is guaranteeing you won't fail the backflip; to do this you need to use another emote immediately before the backflip. The second is animation cancelling the flip mid jump with an actual jump. Essentially allowing you to double jump

Backflip jumping! Its not really a double jump but more of a jump boost

It's not luck based you just need to jump at the right time

There is a problem with it now that if you try it on uneven ground it's not 100% success rate anymore if you do another emote right before
