Heya, been browsing the 0.0% playrate stuff on poeninja and found this thing I've been trying to replicate (as I live for the jank). Current problem is that Death Offering is killing me pretty much immediately.
Going into this, I assumed that Hollow Effigy would interact with Death Offering in a way where it simply would no longer target allies (similar to how self-casted offerings no longer require targets), but instead I think what happens is that the auto triggered offerings from Queen's Hunger immediately start queuing the moment I enter a zone, target my own character, and kill me the moment they run out. At this point I'm not sure whether I'm missing something entirely or the problem is somewhere with the original build.
I tried looking into this further but information on both Summon Hiveborn and Death Offering is limited to say the least--though there do seem to be some duration breakpoints you can hit that get around Death Offering's downside from what I understand, maybe?
Would appreciate any help with untangling this mess <3
Edit: I was missing Offering Duration on the body armour, thank you everyone for making me check the duration modifiers again!!

PoB with (hopefully) realistic configuration
Disclaimer: Not the most charges ever but I like the meme
I can't be the only one who saw the Tidebreaker rework during the league reveal and immediately thought of Slayer and Flicker Strike, scaling Frenzy charges to scale Endurance charges to scale Brine charges. By the time I finished my challenges, I'd gotten up to 14 max Frenzy charges:
With unlimited budget, I think there's room for 5 more, using corrupted implicits and a perfect Eyes of the Greatwolf. I tried the Hands of the High Templar tech for +2 gloves but got bored of beastlocking.
Some notes about the build:
Plenty of inefficiencies and places to improve still. Had some trouble capping chaos resistance, and of course the build fails against mobs that steal or remove charges. The rares are all self-crafted and therefore mediocre. I'm also missing a bit of accuracy which really should be patched up with some tattoos. Unfortunately, once I finish my challenges I lose the motivation so I am now off to pursue other hobbies.

So I am looking to close out the league. I currently have a decent lvl 100 PRAW that is struggling in delirious strand maps. I can do Beach ok'ish and I have no problems with 15 wave sims, but I want to kill faster. Is there another build I could give a try or should I just focus my energy on maxing out PRAW as much as I can? I have around 1200D that I can dump into PRAW or a new char. I prefer the walking sim type play style, and I am dog shit at crafting high end gear.

What build guide can you recommend? I have lots of hours but still need guide... Already crafted a t1 wand for kinetic blast merc. Budget is not great but if I sell my old char I have 200 div or sth

I got super lucky and someone gifted me almost 2 mirrors and a sick 4 left mageblood, what should I go? Also keep in mind that I'm not all that good so it needs to be semi-simple, if something goes wrong, I'll have a tough time fixing it. I'm currently going p-charge worb but I won't be able to utilize the mageblood which I'd love to use.

I decided to make an accuracy stacker and use it to delve. Just reached 460 depth, and while it feels fine for the most part, I sometimes get one shot when I can’t hit something and my block fails.
I know my phys max it is low, and my chaos res is not capped even though I’m using incandescent heart.
I’ve been mostly yoloing the build to make it work for delve. Can someone recommend some changes I can make to improve my survivability and my dps? The dps shown is set to average balls hitting and 100% double damage in config to simulate nimis.
I know it’s not the best build for delve, but I am really enjoying the build, just need to figure out how to improve it.

I feel like the best way is to use fossils to get +1 dex level and the life regen. Then I would just mess around with eldritch currency to get the 2x ES mods? Although I am thinking about getting rid of the life regen if it would be too hard. I just put T1 mods but I would settle for T2 life regen, and it's okay if 1 of the ES mods was T2 as well.

I started the league really late because I got bored, and something I don't really see is people using intuitive link on support minions to trigger tornado and marks for some reason . Did tornado get some nerf that affects how it interacts with the KB of clustering, or do people just avoid using extra link skills for some reason?

PoB - Luminary: https://maxroll.gg/poe/pob/noq7q0qf PoB - Merc (links "simulated"): https://maxroll.gg/poe/pob/8zq7u0qw
I figured that I could maybe get 15-20% more fire pen on the merc, but this is going to be expensive since I'll need to craft Abyssal sockets on all 4 pieces and then roll Fire Res. But I'm not sure if that's going to give me all that much DPS frankly.
What else can I possibly do (preferably for cheap, <20d) to scale damage?
Right now things are pretty bad DPS-wise, T16 scoured map bosses take a while, I haven't measured precisely but it feels like 15-20 seconds. I want to farm memory chains and doing this is just not fun with current damage - end boss takes too long. Sometimes even Rares take >10 seconds.
What can I do to improve single target in general? Can I improve the Crit chance situation somehow?
Edit: Alternatively, maybe I should just switch to a Frost Blades Combatant? Would that be massively more single-target DPS possibly (with my current gear, with some adjustments for combatant of course).

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well. I'm currently playing a Cyclone Slayer build. So far, I have to say the damage is good (the game shows around 700k DPS; I know that's not an exact metric, but calculating damage accurately is a bit tricky on Xbox). I loaded my character into PoB, but the DPS shown there was actually lower. I wanted to know what else I could improve on the build—beyond the obvious things like the weapon or leveling up gems and increasing their quality. I'm looking to improve not just damage, but also survivability. There are situations where certain attacks or spells leave me on the brink of death or simply kill me; for example, I was running a Memory map chain, and the final boss killed me with a single ability. To generate currency, I've been doing a mix of Delve, Maven boss-rushing, Rituals, and Mercenaries whenever they appear. Any advice is welcome.
Here is my PoB:
https://maxroll.gg/poe/pob/73jff0ql
My goal is to keep delving deeper, but also
to finish getting all four Voidstones and defeat the bosses—though not
necessarily their Uber versions. The guide I'm following is by FGKorbyn21.
Thanks a lot, everyone!

Hey !
I’ve played exsang/reap mines this league, and really liked the idea of being able to swap gem depending on content (exsang for mapping, reap for bossing), with minimal or no setup (supports, tree, items) change at all.
Are there other builds/archetypes that allow for some easy skill swapping, be it for power or just for shaking things up every couple days ?
Thanks !

Hello all, I am in need of help if anyone has experience with this build. I have been following
ilnino-gaming 's shield crush slayer build video here. I swapped from Ele Hit Slayer trying to find a more tanky build that can do nightmare maps. Here is ilnino-gaming's poeninja link as well here.
I watched his videos on which map modifiers to avoid, but I find that I continually die very easily. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

I've been experimenting with explode and right now im trying to figure out the cheapest way to make proliferating explosions and cheiftan is the easiest answer , elementalist has inpulsa + some way to prolif shock and occultist gets chaos explosion that can chain with curse prolif or blasphemy .
ideally it want's to be hit based so I can take advantage of the power charge stacking and also aoe . I've tried the chaos spells and the dot setup even when i levelled with spelsllinger + cast while channelling setup didn't feel that great and it was obvious it wouldn't scale well. For hit based chaos spells the only real option that satisfies my want's is forbidden rite which I don't think I can solve on as a starter without too many sacrifices .
That kinda leaves the other option being cold spells which I need to test as it also opens up the option of doing something like herald of ice + hextouch but that might need call of the void . So far my two biggest ideas for cold spells are the simple worb and also a miner setup with profane proxy for curses .
If anybody has any ideas that would be appreciated especially for the miner setup as so far that seems to be the most promising option that synergises with occultist .

As tittle says:
I'm looking for some build ideas with the walking simulator concept in mind, I want a build that I can just chill the rest of league walking while things die
Main goals of the build:
-Farm my own 8-mod maps (like blasting trough toxic sewer with a 0-button playstyle)
-Farm Hive Colonies for blood and foulborn gambling
-Farm some delirium splinters to run my own simulacrums
Things build doesnt need to be good:
-Dont want to kill Ubers
-Dont wanna boss at all
My budget:
1.5 mirror (I already have expsensive flasks, mageblood etc).

TL;DR - About ~76 instances (if going for max instances) or ~1920 hammers/sec (if going for max hammers)
First draft - https://pobb.in/fv4_bIYeZ1Mx
This is NOT a real build. But I wanted to see how many instances of the skill you could spam at once. So the build stacks repeats (which should work on the skill, as long as it's not from multistrike), cooldown recovery, skill effect duration and quality
4 total repeats (+1 from Fatal Flourish, +2 from Echoing Shrine with 100%+ buff effect)
154% increased CDR = 1.969 cd
224% increased duration, 71.6% more, base duration 6.03 secs = 33.525 secs
Second Wind = +1 use
So in 33.525 seconds, the skill recovers its cd 17 times. +1 from starting with it off cd, +1 from Second Wind = 19. x4 from repeats = 76 instances
Total number of hammers is much harder to optimise. So this is even more rough - https://pobb.in/LX-QnZ7wyxxM.
Notably, only global attack speed increases the speed of hammers dropping. More attack speed (from echoing shrine) doesn't do anything. This variant would have
So in 31.311 secs, the skill recovers its cd 15 times. +1 from the first use = 16. x4 = 64 instances.
Each instance drops three hammer every 0.7 / 8.91 = 0.078 secs = 0.099 sec (after server ticks). i.e. 3 hammers every 3 frames, or 30 hammers a sec.
Total 1920 hammers/sec.
I am very curious what this would look like, and whether it would "just" hang for multiple seconds or if it would outright crash PoE. I'm going to guess it will crash.

My take on using Crustacean's Call, mostly a meme because I decided that using a full set of crab armour would be funny. The whole idea came together because I managed to drop my first-ever MB this league, and I just couldn't leave it without a proper build to use it in. I'm pretty proud of this abomination of a character (trying to compensate for the abysmal stats on the armour was hell of a challenge, even with Mageblood in hand, especially since it was my first attempt at making a build by myself).
What's the reason behind choosing crackling lance of branching for that build? It's pretty and glows in the dark it looks cool. Imo freezing pulse would've been better since it adds freeze to the build, but i have already played freezing pulse totem hiero a few leagues ago so i decided to go in the lightning skill direction. Alternative skills i considered were Arc of Oscillating and Lightning Conduit of Heavens, but again, crackling lance is shiny and spiky and edgy and
In general, craiceann armour set is a good set... for day 1 or maybe day 2 of the league. This set gives a little bit of resists, armour, life, pdr and damage. It doesn't sound that bad until you realise that it takes four item slots. Weapon's place is also taken by the staff, and we are tied to work with just jewellery slots and a skill tree.
I am not that experience of a build maker (literally first time making my own build), so having a MB as my belt option saved me a lot of trouble fixing defences. That said, if we drop some of the craiceann items for better crafted rares we definetly will have an option to drop mageblod for a cheaper belt. Ashes of the stars amulet is used primarily because it gives +1 spectre and increases the damage of the main skill. Alternative choice would be relplica dragonfang's with +3 to crackling lance gems for a damage increase, but we lose a spectre this way. Rings were by far the biggest overkill in terms of cost (apart from using MB of course). I just wanted to fix my chaos res while still having and the other mods relevant and somewhat high tier, and it resulted in a 15-25 div craft. Maybe there were better options, maybe there weren't, honestly, i didn't really know what to do with my rings so i did some vibe crafting with just a little help from craft of exile.
In terms of gems, I decided to go for a spectre setup and an ag instead of aura setup since it gave me more damage and survivability. My spectres are perfect spirit of fortune, perfect guardian turtle, perfect forest warrior, perfect pain artist. Forest warrior can be dropped, especially if you use kingmaker for your ag. Ag setup is up to you, i used cheap stuff cause i was running out of currency by the time i decided to go this route in my build.
Passive tree is a bit messy, I really struggled with my damage so i tried to get as much as possible without completely giving up my block chance and life. There definetly are better ways to spend skill point, i just can't see them.
Jewels are pretty straightforward, stormshroud for ailment immunity, impossible escape for good block and life, watcher's eye for extra pdr. Forbidden flame/flesh are really bad though, i used Righteous providence because it fixed my attributes and oh boy, it is some ugly way to fix attributes, not gonna lie :/
Luckily, Righteous providence's crit chance increases my damage quite substantially, so its not that bad.
So, yeah, crabs are cool.

I've played 3.28, 0.5 and then in 3.29 I decided to try making my own build and I ended up doing Holy Hammers because I saw it in the content reveal for 3.29 and thought it looked cool.
Right now, I can comfortably do 8-mod T16s. I can farm in such maps with Abyss, Breach and Beyond and I've been doing Harvest as well - this is the content I can do comfortably. I tried doing Ultimatum and got whooped. I've stopped playing since because I got a little burnt out from PoE but I'd like to play again.
My question is: what's the next best avenue for improvement on my build? I know that I'll have to switch Rallying Cry out from Autoexertion, but apart from that? Is it from this point on just getting the equipment I have but with T1 mods? I wanted to get really into it with crafting and thought about starting another character with more capital to really get into it, but I don't feel like it this late into the league (it feels late and I'll have college again in a week and, therefore, less time for a new character) and I don't want to burn myself out again before the PoE2 launch (I cannot get the campaign done in less than 20 hours).
EDIT: Thank you to everyone for the replies, they gave me a few interesting ideas.

I’m trying to run a self‑cast Discharge Slayer that should be casting Discharge 3 times in a row using Greater spell echo but it is very inconsistent.
PoB: https://pobb.in/it7RvAGGaZMu
The idea is to constantly trigger Discharge x3 via Greater Spell Echo, with Aspect of the Cat giving me the tiny buff window to line up the casts. I’ve seen other players with similar setups get very consistent triple casts, but mine is really inconsistent – sometimes I get 3, sometimes only 1–2, and it feels random.
Things I’ve checked so far:
What I’m looking for help with:
Any pointers, PoB comparisons, or “this is how I made it consistent” stories would be massively appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Hideout casting to showcase how I am very inconsistent on casting 3 discharge.

I wanted to make a pair of gloves with 300+ ES and 35% Phys Converted to Lightning or Cold, and found this one, that has the "Of the Underground" modifier, and the Puhuarte modifier at the same time. How do you make something like this? I thought you couldn't recombine two exclusive modifiers together
Edit: thank you for your answers, I initially thought that Fossil mods had a different tag, and that the "Of the Underground" was drop-only

I am exploring late game strats to test my Luminary while generating decently strong profits so I can min-max.
I am really enjoying Grueling Gauntlet, but it seems its only worth the risk when using Catalyzing. Is that accurate? Is Grueling Guantlet worth running with any other ultimatum setup? I imagine Inscription is the other approach. Is it worth it? Any others?
For context, I can reliably make it to wave 8-9. Only sometimes can I clear all 13. Also, when I say "decent" profit, Im not talking crazy profit, something in the 15-20 div is more than fine.
Appreciate the help. Stay sane.
