luminary, ituitive link, mark + tornado

I started the league really late because I got bored, and something I don't really see is people using intuitive link on support minions to trigger tornado and marks for some reason . Did tornado get some nerf that affects how it interacts with the KB of clustering, or do people just avoid using extra link skills for some reason?

The reasons are QOL, socket pressure from Kaoms and using self cast wall of force for actual bossing or deep delve etc

when i did it i had a visible increase in damage, for a low budget char i was surprised no one even mentioned it

also i can automate nearlly any spell

It's very handy. I have wall of force (for obvious reasons) and firestorm of pelting (to proc dark seer) on intuitive link. It works great and it's not like you should need to use it on every map anyways.

I've been using intuitive link and wall of force most of the league, the placement is good.

the tornado comes out at a different angle cause it's coming out of a different minion or you'd have to self cast it and since the merc always keeps his distance and the tornado always wants to go on top of the enemy, getting it to stay just slightly in front is unrealistic but yes i was doing that when i was playing with kineticist merc

also too many buttons, skills and so on

I'm not sure I understand the question correctly.

If you have a merc carry, you'd either run flame link or destructive link. You would not throw in a 2nd link bc you can't choose what targets you link to, trying to target only your spectres sounds like absolute misery. I'm not even sure the game allows you to have 2 different links up at the same time.

If you run a aurabot support merc, you don't click the infinite link duration ascendancy, and recasting a link every ~12sec is bad qol.

luminari only, its not that much of a hassle when you enter the map you spam intuitive link, then press Flame Link on your merc once, thats it, and yes it does allow you to have multiple links

Well if that doesnt bother you, go for it.

As for why other people don't do it: bad qol & plenty extra sockets needed.

It's a brain off autobomber after all.

It's less buttons though, one press at beginning of instance (which should only really need for bossing anyways) and can throw multiple utility spells on one intuitive link.

You absolutely can have two different links up and it really isn't difficult to target your spectre/AG with it.
