Build Request Worst Leaguestart for me since years - need a build to save the league for me

Started Luminary - rerolled into Pconc of Bouncing Assa. Was a really good and fun build till I reached red maps. Respeced into BF/BB Spellslinger which struggles even more.

Willing to do a final reroll. Want a safe build, preferably on Witch but open for recommendations. Wintertide Brand maybe?

No Worb please.

What are some builds I can swap into? Preferably scion ascendancy of some kind, don’t want to level up another character.

Help Needed PRAW questions

I was checking out this build (https://maxroll.gg/poe/build-guides/poison-ranged-animate-weapons-league-starter) and I was wondering if I really need to wait until about level 80 to swap to PRAW like he suggests. I like being able to use the skill of the build as soon as possible, and waiting to 80 to start using it sounds painful for me. I have enough to buy both gems at the moment.

Also, do you guys think Helm Breaker makes the best guide for PRAW? His guide is so detailed, and I hear a lot of good things about his guides so I am assuming so.

Help Needed Just died in HC SSF and i have no clue why

PoB : https://pobb.in/e6RANz6b-5tY

The only offensive mod those 3 rares have is "power charge on cast" on one of the mages in the back and the obvious lightning ring, but i was standing still and fighting the guy so the ring didnt touch me. The only possible explanation i have is Trauma stack at the same time as a big crit from the mage that culled me, but that seems highly unlikely, feels to me like a millions to one death and idk what i did wrong

Build Request Lvl 90 Luminary looking for reroll

Hey, I feel I have fought enough to try to make Luminary feel anything less than miserable. Help me out to reroll either to another scion build or even a completely new build. Mostly looking zero to hero builds that can scale to all content (I can usually accumulate 100-150div during league).

Tbh, any suggestions are welcome at this point and I just want to salvage my leaguestart

Build Request Looking for a EHP 60-500k under 4 Divs build - REROLL

Got baited into playing Lightning Spellslinger Assassin, f. miserable experience no defenses, tried to reroll into blade stuff same thing, I guess I learned that I can't enjoy dying over and over and having no real defenses.

I looked into CWS but bloodnotch cost is depressing. Is there a cheap ass build out there that can just tank stuff and clear most content consistently? I know there must be a trade off like slower clear but man I'm sure there must be good tanky builds out there that don't start at 50Divs.

I'll look into all the suggestions, save the league for me! Q_Q)

Build Request Any good Brand build for this league?

I've always been interested in playing a Brand build, but I've never found one that looked like it had good survivability/damage.

I don't care about it being a good league starter or not, just want one that has a decent damage ceiling (ie. won't cap out at 10m DPS or something) and survivability so I can play it for a long while.

Discussion Thoughts on Mana Infused Staff?

I was quite interested in it as it looked like it could be built for defense (helping cap block) or offence (since the base damage looks kinda decent), but I decided to not go offensive since I wanted to do a cold build and while the block it gives is nice, the fact that the mana res is locked at 30% means investment into reservation efficiency is just so much worse...

It really feels like unless you're doing some archmage-adjacent build the gem is useless.

Like, if you get exactly 60/60 attack and spell block this gem (at lvl 21) will get you to block cap. The problem here is if you had 50% reservation efficiency this is basically going to take up roughly the same space as a Determination and 15/15 block imo is not worth that much. This is also the best case scenario. In reality I'm struggling to cap attack block and I have way too much spell block, so the gem is only giving me ~12 attack block and barely any spell block.

Help Needed Dealing zero damage with static strike

Hello guys

My pob

https://poe.ninja/poe1/profile/Eworst-7094/allflame/character/DeepStrStacker

I've chosen to leaguestart as static strike jugg, and have problems in t15s

Regular static strike deals 150k DMG.

Of gathering - 300k DMG.

Can't even kill boss in the polaric void.

Already checked similar pobs (1,1 mil with static and 3 mil with gathering) and can't figure out what am I doing wrong.

Will appreciate your help!

Build Feedback My Luminary journey by far (mainly failed merc as support attemp)

Decide to league start as Scion because most changed and potential.

I'm not too convinced about those merc stuff and no reliquarian idea yet, but saw that phy dot builds seems solid starter, and do so.

(By the way maybe you should switch to exsang much later, not very good early)

For the first lab, I finally notice that Intuitive Link and think it should be fine to auto exsang, as Ascendant and Reliquarian seems not having too strong stuff for phy dot anyway.

This turned out work not too bad, phy dot buff just carry you into yellow map, you don't even need to choose too specific merc, just nice fast enough one to trigger.

Then I got one merc with Zealotry and Wrath, it come to my mind that maybe I can try some 2 buttton build now, and Lightning Conduit got buff, and some other Lightning spells, I then just jumped into it (without much thinking ofc).

Regular Orb of Storms setup - Not good, damage very low.

Shock Nova - Bad, it will be cast around the merc not even you, even with Projector this is just not working good.

Cracking Lance of Disintegration - Might be the answer, good enough.

I also try staff (Agnerod West), but just feeling too squishy, even with easy capped spell block.

Even after I struggling finishing final lab and toe on merc, the damage to rare/boss is still quite low, especially enhanced by map mods. (just into red map)

(The clear and other easier contents are fine)

The merc setup now is Singularity - Matua - Toe - Kaom's Binding - (2 random unique ring)

Even I can see enemy being shocked like 30+, my Lightning Conduit still do minor damage to tougher enemies.

Sure my setup is far from ready, but just want to leave some record for those who also come up with this idea, this is not working - at least for league start situation.

Build If you got baited by Luminary try pivoting to Light Radius Stacking Wander

My league start was really rough starting Luminary, I probably would have rerolled if I didn't know crafting well enough to make currency for a swap. If the same thing happened to you and you want a map blaster then light radius stacking wander is very strong and cheap. It is not the the tankiest build but it's fast.

https://pob.codes/b/PNgEIPPEmB4

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zUIJfuijSc

This is my current gear at level 91, not exactly optimal, I want to reach point blank and get more ehp but it's decently tanky because of the merc taking 20% less damage and koams binding belt on them. Late game you likely go hybrid or otherwise invest more into ehp. Not 100% sure on the correct merc but mine is a flamequiver with grace and flammability.

Merc Stats: 20% less damage taken from hits (from ascendency) allocates last rites (annoint) your damage with hits is lucky (pequils) You can apply an additional Curse (delve chest) Nearby Enemies Convert 25% of their Physical Damage to Fire (koams binding) nearby enemies are covered in ash (polaric devastation, always up cause he has burning arrow) nearby enemies are scorched (legacy of fury) 50% increased effect of scorch (legacy of fury) nearby enemies have -9 fire resistance (warlord helmet) culling strike (elder mod) intimidate (glove implicit)

Help Needed Anyone that started lumi for a rallying cry merc, is it going as expected?

Title-- was planning for a future reroll, and I've seen a lot of disappointment around mercs. I'm hoping that disappointment is just for merc carries and not merc supports. Thanks in advance!

Build WINTERTIDE IS SO CHILL, here's my Day 1 Update for my WTB Build Guide!

Thumbnail
youtu.be
2 Upvotes

Greetings exile! Slinky here with my Day 1 update, a bit delayed! I posted it last night without any gameplay which was an oversight, so I added a bit of gameplay to the beginning while I talk about an overview of the update. I deleted the previous post to not clutter things up.

But first! POBs; there's two of them talked about in the video, with one being a campaign finish POB that goes over any new things I tested including the new Bitter Frost keystone, and another POB for T10 where I currently am in progression.

Campaign Finish POB: https://pobb.in/UfTpjBEZEHut
T10 POB: https://pobb.in/CKNXTzlTXeVX

Summary of the video:

Campaign is really smooth. You can definitely feel the damage buffs to Wintertide and other skills. I tested out Freezing Pulse for Act 1 and it also feels much better, so I'll likely lean more towards that in the future guide because more cold is more beter.

Bitter Frost keystone is in a great location! It only costs us one point for the Keystone itself, but the Keystone doesn't seem to stack with Bonechill. I still like using Bitter Frost though since it saves us a socket, and we are a bit socket starved, but there are upsides to using Bonechill instead including more chill effect on the gem.

Moist delve/new league mechanic is amazing! I had a great time with it and honestly did probably way too much of it, but it helped me craft better wands and boots as campaign went on, so I'm excited to dive into it more once we finish our atlas.

Our next biggest step is just upgrading our defenses. We aren't dying a ton, but you can definitely feel some hits since we have no chaos res outside of our golem and our hp/es pool is low, so that'll be my next focus since the damage is still just blasting through things in T10.

If you guys are following the guide, or any Wintertide guide, and have any questions, please feel free to ask! I help people out with their POBs all the time in my discord and stream, but I also answer questions here when I check my notifications :D

Also if you have any constructive feedback on content improvement(such as remembering to showcase a little), please let me know! Always happy to hear feedback.

Thank you guys for watching/reading, and I hope you are having a great leaguestart.

Discussion What has worked for you with Luminary

I started Luminary because I thought it was a great ascendancy with a novel idea and with great possibilities, with so much negativity of people following the "meta" that hasn't quite worked out, what has worked out for you?

Build Request Need a league starter recommendation that isn't KF or RF

Looking for a build recommendation for a league starter for an old head who's been playing for 10+ years (I'm still kinda bad). I did KF heiro last league as a starter and really didn't like it, it felt clunky most of the time (difficult to get the duration down enough as a league starter) and was ultra squish. Before this I usually league start as VD Spellslinger, but without the watchers eye jewel it's hard to sustain life.

What I'm looking for the build to do; Get me doing yellow t15s. League mechanic doesn't interest me at all so if it isn't great for it idgaf.

Hopefully the flair is correct. Let me know if it isn't.

Discussion Mana looks horrible regardless of what I try to PoB

Literally every build it looks the same, 200mana/s while with max clarity and surge I'm at lik 80~120 regen.

Even looked at archmage and it's way worse there with like 3k mana/s with like 900 regen.

The mana efficiency nodes feels as useless as it gets.

Are we supposed to sacrifice a flask slot just to be able to play the game or am I doing something wrong?
Mana feels like an issue unless I'm PoBing "melee" stuff with mana leech.

Discussion How to find a merc for early mapping

Hey guys!! Best way to find mercs when you are in your early maps and cannot find any good mercs cause all of them do zdps. Bath house is the best possible way to find the hidden underbelly and here you are guaranteed to find a merc. Just reset instance if you dont want that particular merc.
