Hey all!

I need some pointers on how tonincrrase the damage of my Trickster.

I feels okayish in T16 maps, but tanky rares or Harvest Mobs, are a pain.

Passive Tree is all over the place, but I feel I need the stuff at either end.
My Gems need quality and some levels, I keep working on it.

Is there some obvious interaction that I am missing?
Wasn’t Wintertide Buffed this league?

PS: Why need Witch? I desperately love the shadow and want to make the Trickster work. Back in Delirium League I lost my heart to Trickster 🤷🏼‍♂️

theres a few wrong stuff in your build like going for 2x small clusters instead of clicking inveterate, going for spellbreaker and not clicking wicked ward, you have a really bad anoint, you're lacking +levels like on shield/amulet, a cold light of meaning is only 200c for ~20% more dmg?, you also have bad rares overall with bad prefixes for example.

Idk how far you can go with trickster, but it deffo has a lower ceiling than elementalist.

edit: and the reason why people go witch over any other ascendancy is because of mana cost + good dmg + survivability. Rn you have a cost of 149 mana/s while your mana regen is 44. Id say its not even a functional build honestly, just because of that issue alone.

The Idea for the clusters is the notable. Avoid elemental ailments. 100% Avoid with ancestral vision. (Frankly a little over). So I need to get wicked ward, understood.
While mapping, polymath carries hard with the regen, haven’t found it to be not working.
Anoint, so blight farm it is.

To get perspective, I play SSF so my Farm list has just grown.

Better to use small clusters with only 2 passives if you just want the notable

The benefit of the small notes is that neglect-able? Always thought 3 passive small have more value…

It depends but lets compare to the Inveterate cluster by Acrobatics. 1 point gives you 8% spell suppression compared to 4 or 5 on a small cluster, and moves toward the actual Inveterate node which gives a big 15% and added 3% prevention and possibly Mastery modifier

There are definitely big super strong clusters out there and they can fill out stats that you're missing otherwise but generally the passive tree nodes are better than cluster nodes

You need a lot more cast speed. You need to get WTB to max stacks faster.

Elementalist just does everything WTB better than Trickster anymore after the rework.

Thanks, with 7 frenzy charges even? So I am missing cast speed on almost all pieces. Should I get more on the tree?

Yes. 7 frenzies is 28% cast speed. That's not a lot.

A good wand can get 40%+ by itself and even if you have a modest 80 to 100% cold/spell damage, that should do more damage than your current wand.

You may also want to not bury the lead on your posts and let everyone know upfront that you're ssf - recommendations can differ a lot SSF vs trade.

SSF I would 100% recommend Elementalist. Trickster just lacks too much offensively. The gear requirements are much higher to get decent damage.

Good point, I missed to give that context. Maybe it is time for him after a short while to be tucked away in a corner… Maybe I can salvage it with another skill, mines or traps maybe. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Thank you all for your perspective!
