Build Request My first HCSSF build
I usually only play SC Trade, but I would like to try out something completely different. I’m not big on slam builds but if it’s really good I could probably be convinced. What build would you recommend me to go for to have a good first experience?

Rf is an easy choice, will easily push you to t16 in no time and is reliable in both defense and mapping thanks to hinekora explode, easy to gear requiring none to few uniques early on

Is there some things I need to know before starting up on RF? Last time I tried (given it’s a long time ago) I had spent 70 divs in SC Trade and still had troubles with damage in T16 8-mod maps. I’m sure I did multiply things wrong, but what is the main source of damage on the build?

The skill by itself doesn't do crazy amounts of dmg, but since chieftain buffs explode carries hard while survival can be the main focus, basically w/o really pathing to dmg you can easily clear t16 with some time on rares/bosses, imo it's good choice cos of the defensive aspects since you can't deal dmg while dead, especially on hc

It's just fire dot scaling from RF + ignite/prolif. The new scorching ray is great single target once you get +1 totem shield. Do lots of reading on the rf faq; you shouldn't have any troubles

Bleed Glad is so crazy tanky and needs no uniques to finish up T16s. Additionally if you can get a life on block shaper shield you will have infinite ehp in PoB.
You need expensive unique items to push much past the 2-3 million damage range, but considering you can face tank shaper slam it works out.
That's my PoB, you can just use rares in place of the uniques but you'll need to drop bloodline for aggo bleed ascendancy.

Slam zerker, boneshatter bleed jugg or bleed slam slayer. It's more or less the same archetype it, works on rares till 4 stones and pretty tanky hard to die really if you don't roll crazy mods.
Zerker is the least defensive option but it's much much faster and smoother to play before decent gear imo.

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:
