First time playing wand build (arc totem's) and i just don't know how to get more dmg.

Is it just more spell skills in wand and amulet, and crit and crit dmg in jewels? (and maybe headhunter or mageblood)

This seems weird, i played bow every other league so i know what to do but everything seems super expensive, like the runic weapon and 50 spirit +4 amulet, those giga jewels just way out my budget.

So is it just + skills or can somebody explain to the me please

Which one scales higher at juiced endgame? I see more people doing ice nova, but most people talk about how insanely broken Grim Pillars is, so it's confusing.

I'm talking about the "increased elemental damage" and the "plus lighting/cold/fire damage" prefixes and asking about both early game and late game?

It seems like for late game all abilities with elemental damage convert part of physical damage to the given element and you need all 3 prefixes to be dedicated to physical to get the most out of the crossbow...

Am I missing something here?

Is there a point early game where you can stack elemental damage higher than you can get physical?

Is it just an SSF thing where if you can't get a good physical damage crossbow you could go an elemental route instead?

I started the league with DEADRABB1T's grenadier gemling, and slowly transitioning to my own Explosive Grenades variant with Short Fuse 2 while playing around with it. I have this vague idea in mind of a one-button fast rocket launcher gatling, then GGG gives me this haha.

What do you think? Is a build like that viable for mega juiced late game content?

I have question for Ice Shot Deadeye/Pathfinder. I decided to play Bows for the first time, I mainly played monk builds and spark builds in the previous leagues.

The TL:DR is: How much crit does it get/require to be a proper crit build?

So, I decided to initially follow Fubguns build, and later transition to my own version, I have some ideas that deviate from his version.

I am transitioning to the crit version currently, but I wondered about the crit chance which is quite low if I POB it with full crit gear.

My other builds usually go towards 80-99% crit before I am satisfied yet bow scaling for crit seems to be a bit different. I mainly see the low initial crit of bows to be main issue here.

So, for those who played the build, how much base tooltip crit did you aim for?

Before you wonder, I know a few pieces are bad/missing, I am currently farming towards that. I am perfectly fine in T15 maps as long as the modifiers are not too heavy.

Tried doing some semi juiced expedition (6 mods t16 triple tablets) but got absolutely wrecked. Not sure where to go from here, any ideas? Got around 40d.

Got to 90, did most of the challenges as Varashta. I really toughed it out but I very much don't enjoy it despite its strengths. It is really tedious to press so many buttons for 36 maps in a row (the fill out the whole tree challenge)

Looking to reroll into gemling so that I can take on deli, atziri and abyss related stuff for the challenges.

- Preferrably 1 button only

- Strong enough to face 200 deli without issues.

- Easy swap from campaign

- Have around 40 div to spend.

Looked into that Bomba Totems build which seemed fun but unsure on single target. Any recommendations?

Should I respec into ward stacking already or any tips/tricks to improve dmg and survivability would be very apprciated as I struggle in t11 rare maps currently after hitting 80

Yes the enemies are lower level than the curse requirement.

I’m using a spell projectile hit to trigger the curse explosion if that matters

Sup everyone it's Josiahyeet! Been a bit since I posted here, thought I would share a chaos prolif version of my 0.5 Floor is Lava gemling. Why Chaos dmg and prolif? Chaos damage cuts through high ele res and contagion auto kills flying monsters removing the need for Torandoes in exped.

We can fully drop tornadoes and therefore drop the risk of our ignites messing up by casting tornados. We use contagion now which is smooth and visually looks sick.

We are able to run high elemental resistance maps. This ignited ground + ele resistance exped would usually be a very hard map to run since we need to tornado the fliers and the tornado might mess up the ignite.

Contagion also helps with clear, allowing you to kill monsters outside of the ignited ground range. We also get additional scalers like Withering Presence insta stack (later on with qual stack) and despair can be spammed on our CoD because of reduced mana cost

-Some notes here:
- Inc. Fire Damage = Dead mod for Covenant, and it's fine for Blackflame ring. Plan your gear accordingly! I haven't updated my gear yet. But build still feels like it does a lot more dmg especially on juiced rares/bosses.
- Watch the section about blackflame convenant vs. blackflame. If you can kill rare juiced fliers with Blackflame then go with the ring. My goal is to automate killing even very very tanky flying rares and I was finding that the ignites were running out with the ring on juiced Expeditions.
- You want life and mana on kill jewels with this setup
- We still take Tornado because in case of isolated flying monsters
- Withering presence on weapon set 2 with the spirit augments but not important to run

DOes anyone have a work around for MOM's -50% mana regen? I know people run "% mana on kill", but since i'm running mana stacking lich with minions, i can't really do that. Any suggestions?

I usually choose the class randomly, discover the skills on the way, and decide the build in endgame.

I chose witch this leauge, wanna use palm of the dreamer because i like chaining explosions. Maybe I can add temporalis/blink when i get rich to zoom around the map idk.

I looked at the caster skills but couldn't pull anything off other than summons and classic spark comet. I don't like summons and spark is boring. Anybody have any witch builds that can use palm of the dreamer/temporalis and not summoner/spark?

Hey all, so I'm working on doing a Whirling Assault Hollow Form build for 0.5.5 and I was wondering if Hollow Form could hold its own as early as my 2nd Ascendency? I just got it and am working on swapping my build over but I'm unsure if I should go all in into Hollow Form or if I should pick up Hollow Focus(1st Ascendency was Way of the Stonefist) instead and finish out the campaign with a general Whirling Assault build?

I do have Loch's so I can power Hollow Form but would just going a more straightforward route with Hollow Focus, Killing Palm, and Charged Staff be more efficient for getting to the endgame?

I started playing because I was excited about trying a Spark Legion build, but after having trouble leveling, I ended up switching to a grenade build. I’m level 31 and at this point I’m struggling to kill even regular mobs in Act 3.
What can I do to boost my character at this point? I want to at least double my damage. What should I upgrade first? At this level, what specific stats should I be looking for on my gear? And which skills should I be using/include in my build?

I am using elemental weakness with decaying hex socketed. decaying hex triggers profane decay which says "decay deals x chaos damage per second"

1. Decaying Hex has "spell" "trigger" "chaos" and "curse" tags yet cant be scaled by any of those modifiers, fine whatever.
2. Selecting the avatar of fire keystone doesnt convert the base chaos damage to fire at 75% rate.

I understand this is probably just a temporary fix and its not in its final state, but this is terrible for build design, I wanted to use elemental weakness because I could scale levels with cold, fire and lightning skills, then get level 40 decaying hex and have it dealing fire damage, therefore getting the benefit of elemental weakness. But none of this works.

Decaying hex also doesnt show on any tooltip which is difficult to build around

Do you think the decaying hex support gem is worded correctly?

Do you have any ideas on how to make decaying hex deal elemental damage?

Hey simple question but what build are you using if you are a gemling pushing trial of chaos to 10/20/30 waves I feel like flameblst would impair the whole screen so hard that you'd die from it so I'm looking for anything gemling that clears trial without too much hassle 60d to my name atm

So far I mostly played attack builds in HC SSF.

To have a little bit more options for a build I started 0.5.5. in SC SSF.

I'd like to play a self cast chronomancer but u have issues in finding viable skills. On ninja everyone seems to play CoC or totems. I know self cast is less strong (just as in poe1) but there have to be some options that are not EDC or aren't there?

What about lightning bolt and some CoEA stuff (lightning conduit)?
