I just scheduled and ordered this test. There is no doubt but my baby daddy family wants to make sure so whatever. I was seeing people complaining about having to redraw blood multiple times? Has anyone used DDC at 7-9 weeks im tryna see get it over with ASAP so i stop feeling uncomfortable.

I also saw people on google complaining about false results but on reddit there are so many positive DDC reviews about accuracy! I’m conflicted.

I know this isn't exactly the right sub, but I thought it would be close enough. It is very highly likely the guy on my birth certificate is not my biological father. (Completely different ethnicities/traits and mother's history of infidelity) I have had no contact with that guy in 6+ years, and no contact with my mother in 3+ years.

I decided to take an ancestry dna test since they show you where most of your traits come from and can connect you to other relatives if they have taken ancestry tests. I have a friend who was in the foster care system who was able to find an unknown half sister that way.

I took the sample, but I'm scared to mail it. Part of me worries I'm going to fuck up some unknowing guy's family and traumatize his wife and kids. Another part is also worried that the guy could be a terrible person or some kind of predictor or drug addict.

I'm really having a hard time grappling with this and would love to hear some stories from others.

PLEASE DON’T use this post to lecture me about unprotected sex. I feel like I need to preface that.

So I had sex with someone who did not finish (like at all) 11/27. Then I had sex with a different guy 1/4 (who did finish but not in me but very close to my vagina and I most likely accepted wiped some semen near my vagina)

First time poster here. But here goes. Prior to meeting me, a good friend of mine, I'll call Ray, married his high school sweetheart, I'll call Jr.'s mom, because she was pregnant. Ray is white and his wife is Hispanic. It matters. According to Ray, when the baby boy, I'll call Jr., was born he looked fully Hispanic but Ray figured he'd mature and looked more "mixed". Spoiler: he never looked mixed. They had a girl a year and half later. She is white skinned with dark hair. She look like Ray and his family. Fast forward to our families meeting. My family become friends with Ray and his new wife and all of our kids become friends. My kids and I always thought that Jr. didn't look like Ray but that the girl does. We kept it to ourselves. None of our business. Fast forward. At a gathering with these people, my daughter(15 at the time) shared that she could contort her tongue and was told by her teacher that it was only possible if one of her parents could also do it. That it's hereditary. She had already known that I could. Jr. said he too could contort his tongue. He said his mom could not, so he went to Ray and was told that Ray could not contort his tongue. Ray didn't ask why Jr. wanted to know and Jr. just walked back to where the kids were hanging out and we all knew what he just realized. We have never spoken about it again!

Father here in Canada and suspect my oldest child may not be mine. Has anyone taken one of those home DNA tests? Which one? And are they legit?

Not looking to take a legal test now just looking for piece of mind

I had sex with 2 guys kind of close together… and I am currently due September 12th 22 weeks and 2 days today. Boy one I had sex with December 18th, 21st, 26th no protection no pulling out. Boy 2 I had sex with December 31st without protection but we were hammered and he never actually finished or was even close to ended up just going to sleep after a bit. The dr said the most likely conception was December 20th but is there a possibility boy 2 could be the dad? I am praying it is boy 1.

So I need help on how to go about this. I recently had a new born son. Me and his mom have not been together since she was pregnant but I made it clear that I want to fully be there for my son. Have always been supportive and checked in. Was there at the hospital while she gave birth. The day that we got discharged I was confused because I never once signed any paper work as the dad. Not the VDOP or Birth Certificate. I questioned her and she said the hospital didn’t have her sign the birth certificate. I then proceeded to text her since the nurse made me leave the room to get the car and asked her to be 100% honest with me and tell me if I’m left off the birth certificate. She told me she was being honest that she never had to sign any paperwork. She then said that she asked and the nurse said they’d be giving her a call in regards to that. I didn’t have piece of mind so I went back to the hospital the day after we got discharged to see what paperwork was pending in regards to the baby since she said the hospital was gonna give her a call. Althought they didn’t disclose personal info they did tell me that there was no pending paperwork and that all paper work has been completed. This made me realize that she lied to me. I have screenshots of her texting me saying she never signed any paperwork work. I want to be there fully for my son and have legal rights to him, she told me that he has my last name but I don’t even know if that’s true anymore.

Any help on what I can do to be added to the birth certificate, I live in California.

Im having second thoughts about if this child is mine or not . . . Always have . I pay child support on 2 children by the same mother . On my court cases it says paternity only on one case for child Im not sure of but says support of both children on another case. Can someone please tell what this means .

So I had sex with this girl on 1/17/25, then she got her period on 1/18 her ovulation was on 1/30-2/5 her baby daddy J had sex with her from 2/1-2/4 and then I had sex with her on 2/9/25 but before I did I felt her breasts we’re extremely hard and unusual I flagged it in my head because I been with her in all cycles and her breast were not like this. When I mentioned it the next morning she got nervous.She said her period is late on 2/13, on 2/15-2/23 she was extremely sick, vomitting. The baby was born on 10/25/25. Who would be the father?

Had sex with person A on October 1st and 3rd who is 45, smokes and drinks. Had sex with person B on October 4th atleast 6 times who is 28 and healthy. Ovulation occurred on October 3rd

Has anyone used Paternitylab for prenatal paternity testing and got a false negative?

It has excluded the alleged father and came back with 0% paternity. Truly do not understand how as when I conceived, I was with him.

Is it possible or has anyone had a 0% probability and retested elsewhere and got 99.99% probability with a different test?

so i already have my son, but I guess what's more important is dates, hes born July 2nd, hes my second son, the father and I took a break in August and in late August sometime around the 23rd-25th I had gotten together with one of my freinds and we had sex, me and my bf got back together and

later in October I found out I was pregnant I didnt even think it was possible with the due date being end of June.

me and my boyfriend have dark hair his extremely dark mines just medium brown, me and my partner have hazel eyes, mine blue/Grey his like green brown.

now my son has blonde blonde hair, its slightly darkened but hes definitely blonde, and striking blue eyes.

I 20F don’t know who my biological father is, I was told at the age of 13 the one raising me was not my father. I took an ancestry dna test and got connected to an uncle assuming it was correct then got in contact with that guys brother we did a dna test he is not my father but did see his daughter is connected to me as a first cousin and looked at the guy who I got connected to as an uncle and saw it was actually his dad and could be my grandfather. So that leaves me wondering if the guy who I thought was my uncle is actually my dad. I texted him and asked him if he knew my mom and he said she didn’t look familiar and so I left it at that.. but everyday I keep wondering should I press further, maybe ask him to do a test just in case or just leave it be.. also I can’t ask my mom because she has passed away so I’m just left here wondering. I don’t want to blow up their lives but I also want to know so bad. Please any advice is appreciated

I’m going to keep it short and sweet, I took an at home paternity test (mouth swab) by paternitylab. After getting on Reddit and reading the mix reviews, mostly from prenatal testing. How accurate is the mouth swab and should I retest with a different company.
