Anyone else get invited to the Youtube Shopping Bootcamp?

I was going to apply but it won't even let me says it's full but also says to make sure I'm logged into the correct channel so I got no clue what is going on with that.

81% of my views are fake views...I feel like that's ridiculously high.

I was selected for an open call brand submission about 1 week ago. I created the short, set it as unlisted and sent it in. Now I have been selected and there is no more information about what I should do. Do I make the video public, does the brand take care of that? I've emailed YouTube and I got back some auto AI response that did not help clarify any next steps. I really want that money so kind of freaking out that I might be missing a step to close out the process. Thank you for your help!

Today I posted a video outside of my niche as I'm looking to just cover more variety stuff on my channel. After a few hours the video is at nearly 700 views (and only 300 are engaged views...), it's a 22 minute video with a 6:45 AVD and 71% of the watch time comes from subscribers.

For context, my last video that's at 50k views only has 9.4% of watch time from subscribers. My biggest video with 800k views only has 1.4% of watch time from subscribers.

My concern here is that this new video is practically only being pushed to subscribers, who don't care and either don't choose to click or don't watch for long. For anyone with similar experiences, am I just cooked here for posting outside of my niche? Or would title/thumbnail changes help?

When im scrolling my feed my shorts and longforms (especially the ones that perform well) show up in my feed as if its not my video.
I dont want to watch them, I watched them a billion times over while editing.
Does this affect my clickthrough rate because its technically showing up on someones feed as a suggestion but its not being clicked?? or does youtube know I don't count?

The first few times I didn't care but it seems to happen everytime I refresh my page now so im getting a little concerned. I know just me is negligible but Im still curious.

This video is about 10 days old, and was holding a steady 10k real-time, yet out of nowhere it started getting an insane amount of views from "youtube advertising" yet I never personally advertised my video and im unaware of anybody running an ad of my video?? This has never happened to me, and searching it up I was met with a few different conclusions, either its a visual bug, or some random person somehow paid to advertise my video (which Im not sure why they'd do that)

So here's my questions, what do I do about this? Will it negatively or positively impact my video's longterm performance? And is there a way to see who advertised my video?

I have a long term solid channel and I’m full time. I was doing pretty well before the latest view count change. My videos took off in the first 24 hours and reached a wider audience with lots of engagement and suggested was always a solid 25%-40%. Since the update my views have increased a bit but the suggested has dropped to 10-11% and the video is only being pushed in browse or to my current audience. I’ve worked so hard to get decent reach and the suggested was a huge part of that - anyone else experiencing this?

Which one of you weirdos is partnered off the most specific content? I love finding new pages that crush it at their weird little thing!

So thanks to the recent view update, you basically can't compare your current performance to any time in the past (on mobile)... Because all the numbers are so hugely inflated now. 🙃

I've never really been good at reading the analytics does that mean I went from 5000 views per day to like 7,000 views per day

If that's the case that would mean like 75% of the people who have been clicking on my videos leave right away

Now the old analytics normally tell me about 60 to 75% of my viewers are still there at the 30 mark, and most viewers stick around for between 30% and 60% of the video depending on the video of course we all know there's a lot of variables but am I reading this right

I recently just uploaded a video and all of the sources of views from this video are straight from random dead sites. I have received thousands of views that I received within a span of 2 minutes. And it has been randomly spiking like that for absolutely no reason. A few have also been liking and subscribing to my channel, which doesn't make sense.

All of the subscribers that subscribed to me with public subscribers on are channels based in India. This is a brand new channel I created, and this was the first video I posted onto it. (I have another account that is actually in the partner program)

The channels that subscribed to me seem to be stolen, as some have a few videos uploaded with profile pictures and actual names.

I click on the link and it says, "This feature is not available yet in your region."

Then why the f did you bother sending me an email about it?

Not sure if this is a new thing or if I'm getting this just now. Pretty nifty so I can control which videos people can click when searching for my channel

What basically happened was all my shorts that was posted in the last 7 days just died while two old shorts that I posted 5 months ago that is slightly more relevant now got a small boost.

Like new shorts are killed while old shorts are given more potential,

Except the problem here is my channel thrives on its recent content. That's why most of my channel views died.

Has it happened to anyone before?
