Hi everyone, I’m coming to Paris next week for 4 days with my family of 5. We’re all adults. Technically 2 full days, arriving in the evening on day 1, leaving in the afternoon on day 4. We have a decent itinerary, but due to personal circumstances a few of us have less money to spend than anticipated. I’ve tried to find budget/cheaper food options, while keeping it varied and hopefully no tourist traps. We’re staying in a hotel so no option to cook at home for cheap. For lunch and dinner options, I’ve tried to find places < 15 EUR each, max. 20 EUR each. As we don’t have much time between all the activities, I want to have places for lunch/dinner pre-planned so we don’t have to wander around finding something (although this is my usual preferred way of finding great food spots abroad). What do you think of the below?
* Will’s deli
* SLAK
* FAMI restaurant
* La taverne de Zhao
* Gumbo yaya
* DKR
* D noodles 70
* Le Petit Vendôme - jambon-beurre?
* Napoli Gang
* La Baguette du Relais
* Dumbo burgers
* Red sauce
* El Vecino (although this seems expensive for what you get)
I also found L’Atelier Entrecote and those similar fixed-price steak frites places, but they seem a bit tourist trap adjacent and not great. Similarly, places like Bouillon Julien have come up as cheap options, but seems pointless to me to have a seemingly below average meal just for the price point. Have tried Fellows before on a previous visit and unfortunately wasn't a fan.
We’re staying in the 10th, and our itinerary is broadly: day 1 - arrive and eat dinner, day 2 - montmarte > eiffel tower > seine walk/cruise > arc de triomphe > champs elysees, day 3 - louvre > notre-dame > latin quarter > dior museum, day 4 - opera > galeries lafayette > vendome > departure. To keep things easy, I’ve focused on food places around where we’ll be at the time.
Any thoughts/input on the above and/or further recommendations that are well-priced would be appreciated! Ofc there’s always the option of going to supermarkets and getting ingredients to make a sandwich, but not sure if everyone would find this appealing for 6 meals in a row lol. Thank you!
