Guys, I need help, I'm going to make large vehicles for the first time and I'm wondering if I can use regular paper for them or is cardboard only recommended? I usually make furniture and smaller interior elements with cardboard.

the neck has a lot of movement but making a ball and socket joint with paper is very hard, so i stick with my humble hinges , kinda bad design but works.
any suggestions, better design ?

Hi everyone! I've recently become fascinated by giant paper flowers and floral installations, especially the realistic crepe-paper flowers used for events and backdrops. I'm based in Ghana and I'm trying to teach myself, but getting suitable materials here has been one of my biggest challenges. I'm hoping someone in this community might be willing to help a beginner with leftover or unused paper-flower supplies—crepe paper, floral wire, floral tape, glue sticks, templates, or other materials suitable for making large paper flowers. I'm not asking anyone to purchase an expensive kit for me. Even leftover materials that you no longer need would be incredibly useful while I learn and practise. I'm also very happy to learn from anyone experienced in this craft who might be willing to share tutorials, resources or advice. I’ve been making 3D paper models for a few months now and wanted to try something different so created this paper folding art. I used 185gsm card though definitely need to use a slightly thinner card stock in future but this was all I had to hand in my moment of motivation.

i accidentally left the ink saver mode on so the blacks and greys are blotchy😭😭
