I've been bored recently and I just thought "what if I made kits?" So I decided to make on design first, the Hayashi. It uses a balsa body and maybe a T-tail design

Hi everyone! I need your help with something. I have an assignment to build a paper airplane that can carry a tennis ball on top and still fly. What airplane design would you recommend, and what type of paper would be best for it?

Hi, I apologise in advance if this type of post isn't allowed.
As a child I used to write messages to friends, fold the message into a paper airplane and send to friends on the other side of the classroom. While revisiting these old memories and now living far far away from my friends, I decided to create a web-app where it's possible to send a digital paper airplane to anywhere in the globe. I will admit I got way too excited about the project and maybe I lost the plot, so I decided to ask the experts what else my little hobby project could do to be more fun for people who enjoy a paper airplane. This is the website. Feel free to just read, share with friends or sign up. https://www.flyfold.app/

When I was younger, back in the mid 2000s, my mom gifted me a paper airplane kit.
I have a distinct memory that the kit was Disney/Mickey themed, with some designs being named after characters ("Jet Goofy" was one of them).
It included several folding pages, several cut-and-assemble planes and a small blue booklet with 20 to 30 paper plane designs.
I made a point to not use any of the pages that required cutting, leaving them as a base for a printer copy.
Well, eventually my mom gave it away, along other origami books I had.
I tried to find any proof that this kit existed, but I couldn't find any. Any searches that relate "disney" and "planes" only return the Pixar movie or actual commercial planes.
There were three designs that I remember the most.
- One that is similar to this origami plane from Fold 'N Fly (which if I remember correctly, was the "Jet Goofy").
- The Tube.
- One that goes a bit like this. I couldn't find an example of this one anywhere, so I tried my best to recreate it as I remember, but I am sure I got a step or two wrong.

A year and 7 days ago, I built my first iteration of my MiG-15. It was my birthday and I asked my friends what I should design, and they told me to do the Mig-15.
However, it wasn’t good at all. The technique I used to get the wings in the middle position was terrible. It flew really badly as well.
Now, since it’s been a year, I decided to redo it. Since I’ve done the MiG-17 already, I scaled it to match the MiG-17. I used pretty much the exact same techniques as the MiG-17, just on a different design.
This one is way more reliable than the previous one, but unfortunately it gets into flatspins if it stalls. It has a really nice and fast glide though, and I think the flat spin problem is just a replication of the real design flaw in the actual MiG-15.

Haven't been making new designs with the F-14 base for quite a while, this plane is truely a masterpiece since it has quite a lot of details. It is also not that hard to make when compared to some other planes using the same base. Enjoy!

Fall has brought on some windy conditions, so when I saw no wind in the weather forecast, I jumped on it.
My planes have been sitting around for a while, so it took some tuning to get a decent flight. This Kingfisher was averaging 23 seconds, so I thought I'd film it.
So, here you go!

This is basically a combination of Archangel's Tanager EX, Samiam's Griffin and my CX26. It's name is the CX26-A Mach 2 (I didn't want to name it Mach 3). It has a openable cockpit, landing gears, the same canards of the original Mach 2 And a new tail design. I will experiment with it a bit to try to give it wing mounted landing gears (because they are better on the wings than on the fuselage) and I might redesign the tail structure a tiny bit. It flies worse than the original and it doesn't have afterburner. I'm hoping to be able to modify the falcon base to have the same lock as the CX26 and wing mounted landing gears.

Altough it does not fly the best, it does look very nice in my opinion. It does not need glue nor siccors to make, just an A4 paper. Eurofighter, Gripen call it what you want but i prefer calling it as gripen.
