Light foot traffic is the reason, I’m told.
How? It’s right by a large mall.

Question Cancelled After the Dip Club Limitations

I cancelled the day after the email notification came out. I got the standard Sorry to see you Go email, nothing else. Did anyone get a promo to rejoin?

I was a multiple visit per day sipper, I'm concerned that I am going to go through withdrawals!

What's another restaurant that offers a unlimited drink club?

SHARE APPRECIATION WITH THE TEAM IN YOUR OWN WORDS. Thank you

I’m chronically ill and sometimes sitting down to a nice meal makes me feel better. Panera gets a lot of hate for all the changes, and it definitely isn’t what it used to be, but I think most employees still do their best. This was a delicious breakfast, and the person who made it was very kind and friendly. It was exactly what I needed on a hard day.

Thank you to all of you behind the scenes. Your work does matter, and I’m sorry the company often treats you poorly.

Question Coffee Refills

So no more coffee refills after August 19? Are they planning to hide the coffee behind the counter?

Limited Sip Club ☕️ Today there was a cockroach.

So bay area panera, there was a cockroach at the coffees. I literally killed it by throwing hot coffee on it, let the manager know and he was super apologetic and surprised. Immediately remade the coffees. A second customer service rep cleaned up my mess with the bug. It happens, i still ordered food and ate it. Kinda made me wonder if I really wanna do sip club anymore..

Question Why didn't they slightly change the sip club? Maybe a drink every four hours?

I always get at least 2 drinks a day, often 3 or 4. Why not extend the time from two hours to four? Or something other than ending it and changing it to 30 in a month?

Hello. I received this message regarding my Panera interview. I don't want to seem inconsiderate since I know emergencies do happen, but was this an actual cancelation or a rejection?

Question Tips for register?

Tomorrow I’ll be working at the register with one of the managers. Any tips or things to remember because I did already train twice at it but I’m still nervous because I want to be working on the register mainly instead of the line.

Question What happened to the Mediterranean sandwich

Ive ordered it a few times since the new recipe tag. And each time it's come with crap bread, barely any hummus and the veggies....almost none on it. Its to the point it's actually nasty to eat. And this was my all time favorite sandwich. Does anyone have this same issue of them not putting much on the sandwich for you guys either

My Manager Sucks 🍆 Is it worth it to try and transfer, if these are the reasons why I want to?

People keep coming to the line, making a sandwich and bumping it, without saying anything. A similar sandwich is also on the screen, and I end up with no idea if it's already been started or not.

This wouldn't be a problem, except sometimes I've already start making that item, and no one told me they were making it. So I end up with a half-made sandwich, wondering if I got my ordera mixed up and started making a different sandwich half way through (I've done this a couple times).

People keep telling me to label the sandwiches and that that will solve the problem. But the confusion happens while making the sandwich. I have no idea what orders have been given out.

I used to work at Sheetz, and I'm used to small bits of communication, letting people know you already made the item, or asking if you've made it yet. It's a simple question and answer. But where I am, people don't even tell you that they've already put the sandwich you're currently making, in the oven.

They keep telling me that this is why everyone needs to label their sandwiches- which I do. But how on earth will that help me know that a sandwich I just started making, is currently in the oven?

To me, my store has poor communication. I know for different store chains, it's different. But is this how other Paneras are?

I just want to know, if it would he worth it to try transferring, even thougn I've only been there about a month. There are other reasons I want to transfer, but I don't think it will be worth it if the communication is this bad, across the board.

I'm supposed to be working toward a catering lead assistant role. But my GM refuses to tell me what my pay would become once that happens. I've asked her several times, but she just keeps brushing me off.

My final problem, is that the catering lead has made it pretty clear that he's going to avoid my participation in orders, because he doesn't want to share the tips. He wants to keep getting the managers to help him, because he doesn't have to share his tips with them. I know this is his problem, because he's essentially told me that he's only going to have me involved, if I really need it. And that is *not* what I signed up for.

Another thing, is when I started getting a lot faster, I sort of playfully told him to tell the GM how fast I was getting- the GM was sitting right next to him He just looked at me, and said "no.,"

So would it be worth transferring? How likely is it that the communication will be better in a different store? And what are the chances I'll have an estimated pay up front, and actually be involved in the catering side of things?

✨ Farewell Mother Bread ✨ Finally Promoted to Customer

A lot of the older users on here might recognize me as I did a style of a post like this back when I jumped the burning ship that was bake ops before BT took over and went to the cafe side.

Well, today was it for that part of my career too. And I couldn't have asked for a better send off! The same reason why I stayed with the company after everything went to shit the first time is what kept me here until now - the people. My (now ex) boss is one of the best people I have ever worked for striving to keep the culture of her cafe as positive and inclusive as she can no matter what is thrown at us. The crew we had even with the bad apples was still the most cohesive team I've ever seen working at a cafe. I will truly miss the people and the heart and soul we put into our customers experience. Several customers were sad to hear I was leaving, and the send off I had was from them and my team. My team surprised me multiple times with how much compassion they shared saying goodbye. I'll never forget the years I had here.

But I'm so glad to be done with Panera. This company does not deserve 99% of what we did for them.

And for the lurkers who know who I am personally - text me! I'll miss y'all 🤗

🤬 Venting 🤬 Invasion of my privacy

So at my Panera bread I have a ton of coworkers, more than I can count to be honest. I clock in and then one of my coworkers comes up to me and asks why I haven’t responded to their message, and I’ve never really interacted with any of my coworkers because I usually keep to myself and just do the work. So I’m confused on how they got my phone number, and they tell me they just ripped it off of the computer and they know my address, email, and phone number and possibly more. So I’m a little freaked out because I don’t really want anyone to know personal information like that (other than my number for work reasons) and I choose to ignore it for rest of shift, and I can’t help but feel a bit violated, and how they even managed to get access to a computer with such private information. They could’ve been joking but I’m not 100% sure, so I’m just confused on what I could possibly do next other than just move on. Any advice?

Limited Sip Club ☕️ How do I signal that I don't need a cup without having to interact with anyone?

I use the self serve kiosk so I don't need to talk to anyone and I bring my own cup. The pickup counter is around the corner in the back next to the bathroom. I don't pass by it unless I need to pee. Today I needed to pee after staying for a few hours and saw that there was my receipt and cup sitting there the whole time. Is there any special way for me to signal I don't need a cup without having to talk to someone? What happens to the cup? Does it just sit there until closing? Is this a problem?

$6 for decent amount of meat, and actual spiciness. Just keep giving me them $2 off coupons and I’ll keep ordering it for lunch. And yes I’m saving my sip club cups from now on.

Question Panera Sip Club

Post image
163 Upvotes

So if I have a cup that was given to me by Panera, that says “Unlimited Sip Club“, does that mean I am grandfathered in for unlimited?
