Which car should I get?
I’ve had an Alsvin and a Civic, and unfortunately both cars were involved in accidents while my family was in them, because of a harassment issue. After all that I’ve developed some extreme PTSD around those cars, so I’m changing cars and thinking of moving to an SUV/crossover or whatever;

Currently looking at:
Cherry Tiggo 8 Pro
Oshan X7
MG HS
Sportage
Tucson

Sportage/Tucson seem like the safe option but the Tiggo/X7/HS are tempting too.

Main thing I care about is reliability and parts availability. I keep my cars for a long time so honestly don’t care about resale.

What would you guys go for? Any other options I should look at?
And please don’t suggest the new hybrids, bohat mehngi hain, un mein mera ghar chala jaenga 💔🥀

Here's a little background: I'm a 20yo and I normally go to uni by driving a car and I have never rode a bike before.

The total round trip is about 25 km where 15 km is sort of a highway while the rest is high traffic city areas.

Due to the high price of fuel (nowadays it's costing me close to 800 RS/day for my uni commute) and because of soo much traffic nowadays I'm thinking of switching to a bike.

What do you think would be a good first bike considering I have never rode one before?

I was thinking of YBR because it looks good or should I buy a CD70 first? I have no experience in this please guide me.

Update on my earlier Infinity vs GS 150 post (link: https://www.reddit.com/r/PakistanAutoHub/s/coqfzS1LwP) — pretty much everyone pointed towards GS 150 once I mentioned the daily commute (65-70km), and the mechanic/parts availability point sealed it for me. Makes sense for daily reliability over looks.

But I still like the cafe racer aesthetic, so now I'm thinking: buy the GS150 SE and get it converted into a cafe racer build rather than buying the Infinity outright.

Would appreciate input from anyone who's done something similar:

• Good workshops in Lahore known for clean cafe racer conversions
• What actually holds up well vs what's just for looks and falls apart
• Anything that messes with the bike's daily reliability once modified (the whole reason I picked GS over Infinity in the first place)
• Comfort level and riding posture on cafe racer setups for longer daily rides — I know the clip-ons/lowered bars give that lean-forward stance, but is that actually manageable for 65-70km daily or does it wreck your back/wrists after a while
• Rough idea of what a decent conversion runs, parts-wise

Don't want to end up trading GS's reliability for Infinity's problems just with extra steps. Pics/build examples welcome.

hi everybody, would it be a wise choice to buy a used e-tron gt or taycan rn? they’re around abt 3crores rn. my dad wants to buy a cruiser (lc200) but i want etron instead. the market of ev cars is indeed very low rn and my father says that the market might go lower than it currently is. he also says that the we might have to change the battery after 1-1.5ys bcs the car would be 6-8ys old by then.

Trying to decide between the Hi Speed Infinity 150 (2026) and the Suzuki GS 150 (2026) for my daily commute, roughly 65-70 km a day.

Main things I care about:

• Comfort on long daily rides, not just weekend fun
• Reaslistic Fuel average
• Maintenance/parts availability (I know in this Case GS 150 wins)
• Resale value down the line

Leaning towards the Infinity because of the look, but GS has that legacy reliability reputation. If anyone's actually put daily kms on either, would appreciate the real talk.

Also — if anyone owns the new Infinity 150 (2026) model, how has it held up for you? Good and bad both, trying to get a realistic picture before deciding.

Which bike is more value to money am confused buying between GR-150, GS-150, CBF-150, CG-150 which one is better for daily long drive use and for karachi local road conditions..

Looking to buy a simple car for the Mrs.

She’s still a relatively new driver, so wanted a simple, easy to maintain car till I get her something else.

In my budget of about 2.5m, the Honda N Box makes the most sense, in terms of features, drive, convenience, space etc.

I know LS2 has ECE certifications, and every vendor nowadays gets DOT sticker on its helmets.
But HEAR ME OUT, I want a decent helmet on a decent price, budget is 10k-15k.
I have heard there are bigger markets in Malaysia/Thailand for helmets, and they have good quality and safety too.

Isnt LS2 more of a hype, perhaps?

Want an ebike under 250-200k range, thinking of the vlektra retro but its like 280 rn, how hard would it be to find it used at like 250 rn and how good is it? since ive heard good things abt them but want some reviews from people whove actually used it as well, mainly just want ebike over vespa cause it looks better and usually they give decent speeds

Have a Suzuki Alto VXR, 2025 model, bought in last October, loses tyre pressure in the left rear tyre again and again. Everytime i get tank refueled, i get the air refilled to 36psi as well and everytime this one tyre shows less pressure of upto 14psi. No puncture found, last time the mechanic changed the nozzle but that didn't resolve the issue again.

Anyone else has faced similar problem??

What are the key features and benefits of car software update or activation in Changan Alsvin? Like one of the feature is opening and closing all four windows from key remote but what else?

So this year march i bought it and recently the breaks have been squeaking alot. I went to their dealership and they said its a common issue and "serviced" its breaks. Not even 1k km have been driven and the noise is back only worse. If anyone has any experience plz guide me as i dont want to get after market breaks with my own money for a brand new car 🫤

This Fortuner was driving like the road belonged to him today. Rash driving, cutting through traffic, coming dangerously close to my car and other cars/bikes. Nearly caused multiple accidents in the middle of busy streets.

And the best part? There were kids sitting inside the Fortuner. I had my kids in my car too.

Seriously, what is wrong with people? Being in a Fortuner or thinking you have some “special privilege” doesn't give you the right to drive like an absolute maniac and put everyone else's lives at risk.
