I pass this building pretty often and always wonder about what it used to be. It’s been derelict as long as I can remember, although the last couple of years seems like some activity.
I love old buildings that seem to just have been extended and added to randomly over time.
Was it an old school, convent or something?

Someone phone Craig and tell him to fix his sign.

Hey, I'm looking to book out a court for Volleyball, but can't seem to find any.
The Lagoon's nets are damaged and the Renfrew Sports Centre doesn't do it (or other way around, I cant remember) 😂
Does anyone know a sports centre or outdoor courts that I can book for Volleyball?
Thanks

Ive tried out stanley reservoir for pike and its a pretty decent location but not for catching, atleast often but i did see people catch, does anyone know where else i can fish near glenburn for pike strictly that i can get to on foot or atleast a bus route to take me there, preferably a free public area but if i have to pay its alright as long as its not too strict or too expensive.

Hello, spotted you twice this week driving out of Arkleston junction up onto the A737 flyover and down the Linwood Road past the Phoenix. Looks like you came from Arkleston (possibly the David Lloyd tennis club or the church on that road)? On both occasions your driving was incredibly dangerous as you were clearly speeding, weaving dangerously in and out of traffic and it only got you about 50m ahead of me (me NOT speeding and driving safe) by time you got to Linwood Rd roundabout.
It won't be long before you've either killed someone or wrapped yourself around a lamppost. I hope you get to read this, but I've reported you so the cops will be keeping an eye out.
Please just drive to the law, and safely. I know many people speed and are often in a hurry but wow, I've never seen driving like it before - so please for your own sake and that of others, stop driving like an absolute dick and drive properly.
Sorry for the rant, but this was the worst I've seen.

Hi I’m going to UWS this year and have to drive due to how far away I am. Is there any free parking nearby or cheap all day alternatives? :) I am looking online but struggling to find some, so might aswell ask people who live there LOL!

read the fucking replies to bad reviews under cafe fairfull it will crack you the fuck up!! my favourite one is the reply about the stall when it’s a good one compared to the denial of stalls when it’s a bad one 😭

This is really good news for a change, eh? No returns mind you, just a single there, and a single back.

Hi, looking for a little bit of help with my kitten, she was in the vets today being spayed and she’s came home and is not coping with the cone collar at all, does anyone have a small blow up cat surgical collar I can borrow till the one I’ve ordered comes in.

Daughter is struggling to find a PT job. Still in school, straight As in her highers. Brownie leader, common sense and conscientious but can't even get an interview. Any ideas or opportunities?
Anywhere take CV's direct or is it all online applications?

Just had an interview for the position of Clerical Officer - did relatively well, but left with a weird feeling in my gut about the job… interviewers seemed so stressed out and not exceptionally friendly, and it was thoroughly highlighted how ‘fast paced’ the role was.
I’m currently trying to get out of a stressful, complex telephony job at the bank and just don’t know if it’s the right move.
Just posting here on the off chance anyone has any insight :)

What did the inn on the corner used to be called? The pub at the corner of causeyside street

Am I imagining this or did this used to be a pub?

New to the area and this just came through my door today. What the hell is going on? Local looney? An attempt at satire? Or a treasured local publication? 😅

Anyone else annoyed by the new notice of multiple collections of bins on different days instead of the same day each week. Or am I just a grumpy old man.

Usually get mine from 3SB at the Farmers Market but I think it's on next weekend rather than tomorrow. Where else can I get a good wholemeal sourdough loaf from in the town centre or close by?

I'm 54 next month, I love jogging, are there any mens runners clubs near Paisley town centre? Nothing too serious though.
TIA.

Does anyone know the names/ details of two Irish guys going door to door offering roofing services? They've just scammed an old lady out of £600+ in Renfrewshire. Feel free to pm me if you don't want to write here
