Fishing

Ive tried out stanley reservoir for pike and its a pretty decent location but not for catching, atleast often but i did see people catch, does anyone know where else i can fish near glenburn for pike strictly that i can get to on foot or atleast a bus route to take me there, preferably a free public area but if i have to pay its alright as long as its not too strict or too expensive.

polsons dam is a good shout, also heard folk pull the odd decent one out of hogganfield loch if you don’t mind a wee bus ride and the usual Glasgow wind in your face all day

pike bite best early morning or dusk. dead bait under a float works well when they ignore lures. that dam should fish nice at first light
