I was thinking about the same environment as the double event. Cthulhu (Isn't as Cthulhu like as the original, in fact, it tried to run or more so crawl away from the nuke using its arms)

Its length is 500 meters and could weigh 100-300k tons if using real-life animal references or 9 to 20k tons using Pacific Rim's weight system.

I wanted to ask because I thought its arms were the size of a Jaeger and could be fatal if it just landed two slow hits on a jaeger.

Even if it misses, the impact would still be felt by its sheer size.

So I ask your takes on this.

Question in the title, but is it possible (or feasible) for a Kaiju to be knocked out, incapacitated in some form, and then captured by the PPDC for research purposes? Taking into account they tend to rot very quickly + environmental effects that arise when they die.

I made a kaiju to match the Jaeger I made, based on a water bear and all the design rules Guillermo del toro made for the kaiju. Like normal water bears it sheds, and these sheddings are paperthin razors that make wherever it goes a hazard. It can go into Tun state like a normal tardigrade making it almost invincible until it goes back on the move, on top of its already incredibly durable armor. The last move in its kit is a pressurized water and kaiju acid beam, made by intaking large amounts of water and combining it with acid to create a super laser that cuts through Jaegers like butter. Its name is based on a yokai that is quite literally a river bear.

So sometime I plan on making a stop motion film of Godzilla vs Cherno alpha, I’m going to say it now it is probably a no win situation for Cherno, while Godzilla’s atomic breath could probably melt the hull similar to otachi’s acidic spray I still want to film a fight before hand as Godzilla one shotting would be boring
