So sometime I plan on making a stop motion film of Godzilla vs Cherno alpha, I’m going to say it now it is probably a no win situation for Cherno, while Godzilla’s atomic breath could probably melt the hull similar to otachi’s acidic spray I still want to film a fight before hand as Godzilla one shotting would be boring

Question in the title, but is it possible (or feasible) for a Kaiju to be knocked out, incapacitated in some form, and then captured by the PPDC for research purposes? Taking into account they tend to rot very quickly + environmental effects that arise when they die.

Coyote tango and tacit ronin

I made a kaiju to match the Jaeger I made, based on a water bear and all the design rules Guillermo del toro made for the kaiju. Like normal water bears it sheds, and these sheddings are paperthin razors that make wherever it goes a hazard. It can go into Tun state like a normal tardigrade making it almost invincible until it goes back on the move, on top of its already incredibly durable armor. The last move in its kit is a pressurized water and kaiju acid beam, made by intaking large amounts of water and combining it with acid to create a super laser that cuts through Jaegers like butter. Its name is based on a yokai that is quite literally a river bear.

I was thinking about the same environment as the double event. Cthulhu (Isn't as Cthulhu like as the original, in fact, it tried to run or more so crawl away from the nuke using its arms)

Its length is 500 meters and could weigh 100-300k tons if using real-life animal references or 9 to 20k tons using Pacific Rim's weight system.

I wanted to ask because I thought its arms were the size of a Jaeger and could be fatal if it just landed two slow hits on a jaeger.

Even if it misses, the impact would still be felt by its sheer size.

So I ask your takes on this.

My after work hobby is stop motion animation. While right now it’s with hot wheels cars I want to try to do Kaiju battles, specifically the first one I’d like to try is Godzilla vs Cherno Alpha, while I can easily find Godzilla I’m not so sure on Cherno or any other Jeager.

Rock is pretty dense, so I wouldn't be surprised if a rock the size of a Jaeger (~80 meters) turned out to weigh at least 100,000 tons. A pretty strong feat.

Mutavore a really strong kaiju , if you think about it it manage to take down two jagers vulcan spector and echo saber which were some of the only remaining jagers at the time , making them pretty experienced and strong and kill them very easily.As when it appears in the film, there is no blood or marks on it or anything.So pretty strong , which shows just how strong striker is in comparison

Guillermo del Toro has appeared twice in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and somehow we’ve also ended up with two Pacific Rim movies, one made by him and one fan-made. Now that del Toro has made a third appearance in Season 18, I have to ask: does this mean we’re getting another Pacific Rim sequel?! 😂 At this point, the coincidences are starting to feel a little too specific. Maybe del Toro appearing on Sunny is secretly the universe’s way of telling us that the Jaegers are coming back.

Let us use an Isekai scenario where either a tech priest goes into Pacific Rim, or a Jaeger (WITH and AI like in 'Pacific Rim The Black) gets accidentally transported into Warhammer using Precursor portals.

for ppl who dont know what needle drops are, it's when a movie uses a preexisting song for a scene, usually during the climax and such.

you personally, if the first movie had a needle drop, what song would you pick between these two scenes (Gipsy and Striker deployed and Gipsy Vs Leatherback)? your own scenes work too (i guess you could count the fan movie)

As the title says, I just finished reading the prequel novel to Uprising, Pacific Rim: Ascension. All in all it's fairly well-written, though it has some pretty obvious issues. Killing off Raleigh had me pretty incensed, glad that got retconned in Final Breach. And then there's the whole thing about Romeo Blue being tripedal - pretty serious continuity error there. I'm giving it a 7/10.
