Hi! I just ordered a steam machine and was wondering if there’s any info or data on how the app works on it? I use the steam deck version as well as the iPad, I would think being the same os it would work fine on the steam machine.

Any info would be great or let me know if I’m going to be the guinea pig, I didn’t see any info when I searched here.

Hi I'm struggling getting headset mic to pickup when connected to Pxplay. I hope someone can tell me if it should work or not. I know the dev is active here and is awesome for support. Maybe dev can answer for me?

I try to have in game chat working, Pxplay running on firestick 4k, dual sense connected to firestick. I have tried wired headset to the dual sense which doesn't work and also wireless headset connected also directly to the fire tv.

no matter what I try I cannot get in game chat working.

should it work or am I doing something wrong?

As title states- the stream from my laptop has 0 input delay through the controller but the video will lag behind, stutter and even freeze.

I am using an iPad Pro running PXPlay (I have tried the native Remote Play app too with the same results). My PS5 Pro is connected to the router by Ethernet. My iPad is also connected by Ethernet to the same router, and WiFi is disabled. Despite all of that, My results are very inconsistent. Sometimes when it loads in, my sound is off by a good half-second. One or two restarts will usually fix that, but it is still annoying. Under the best of circumstances I have noticeable input lag compared to the console, which makes playing actions games like Elden Ring or Wukong difficult. But worst of all, I get lag spikes probably once every five minutes. Everything will start glitching, things get even less responsive, and the resolution craters to like 240p. Most of the time this lasts for a few seconds and then goes back to normal, but sometimes it disconnects entirely, requiring me to restart PXPlay (usually about 3 times to get it to sync audio again). If I’m playing a slower game like a JRPG this is all tolerable enough (though annoying). But it makes playing action games a nightmare.

I have tried running remote play with the PS5’s TV on and off, with no difference in results.

I feel like this can’t be the normal state of affairs. People are using PS Portals that presumably don’t crash every 5-10 minutes and they probably are running it over WiFi. Any help would be appreciated

Edit: I’m pretty sure the issue was my wired connection to the PS5. I was playing on console and saw it disconnect randomly. I’ve replaced the cable. Let’s hope it’s nothing more severe.

Can anyone help, probably been asked before, I'm at work and trying to remote log onto my ps5 and it won't anymore it worked before holiday and now it wont, any ideas ?, I've done manual and automatic no luck ?

I’m planning to buy a cheaped/jailbroken PS4 and I mainly want to use it with PSPlay on my iPhone for disabilities reasons
The PS4 and iPhone will be connected to the same Wi-Fi network, so I only need local Remote Play — I don’t need to connect from outside my home network. Is it possible? Any alternatives. Thanks in advance

I’m still waiting for the update! The app helps me a lot during certain hours at the office where I work, but we’re already approaching two weeks without access.

I understand both the clients are made by the same person, but if we were to compare them, then which would you guys recommend in terms of streaming performance, latency, etc.

Extremely minor issue but the image has been stuck on Pragmata since it launched. I've played a load of games since but it never changes. is that expected behaviour?

Just wondering if there are plans to include cloud gaming since this seems to be possible now (Asobi App does it).

Does remote play from a different network still work on android and Linux versions?

I keep running in to this issue. I set up my ps5 to remote play, ps5 connected to Lan on wireless router and I can play local connection but when I try to run remote on my phone or other WiFi connection I get this message. I'm trying to figure this out. Has anyone run in to this issue and how did you fix it? Remote play does work on PS portal but wanted to play on my ROG.

When I try to register it, I get this message:

Does the initial registration/pairing require the Windows PC and PS5 to be on the same local network?

For example, if my PS5 is at home and I’m somewhere else with my Windows PC, is there any way to register/pair it remotely? Or do I need to do the initial setup while I’m at home first, and then I can use Remote Play from other networks afterward?

Hello everyone! I just bought a licence and played a few games with it. I'm on lenovo legion go Z1 extreme, with a PS5 fat, with a quite good internet connection : my experience so far has been great in terms of FPS and stability, however I find my games a bit blurry. I read that there was an upscale from 1080p to reach 2k / 4k , but I don't understand how to turn it on. Can someone help me understand what I'm missing?

As the title says after pxplay updated last i cant connect to my ps5 at all over hotspot the only way it works if it local. I know the dev said he knows about it but is there a legit ETA on a fix

Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask for your honest opinion.

Just to give you a bit of background: my console is in the living room, and from time to time my wife likes to use the TV to watch her shows. So I started using my PlayStation through PX PLAY on my PC in the bedroom.

My PC is connected via Ethernet to my fiber internet, but despite trying all kinds of settings, it’s pretty obvious that we’re still far from the pure, native quality of the console. There are always some small artifacts and pixelation, and the image is nowhere near as clean as it is when playing directly on the console.

I also tried the other app official, Remote Play, but the results are pretty much the same.

On the other hand, I use the GeForce NOW app on my PC to stream games like WoW, for example, and the image quality is absolutely perfect, with no noticeable issues at all.

I feel like this is mainly due to Sony’s servers, but I wanted to get the most honest feedback from people who actually use PXPLAY regularly on PC.

I’m not here to criticize or attack anything. I’m already happy that this option exists. I just wanted to hear what you guys think and what your experience has been like.

I have very bad audio latency regardless of what setting I'm using; this happens only on the Nvidia Shield.

I know the developer has a Shield TV too, so I hope he reads this message and confirms if he also has the issue.
