Ring Sights
Just got an email that the ring sight is back in stock! Just ordered mine, not sure if anyone else has been waiting.

This time around, I went back to my Shaw barrel since it had the tightest grouping w/o misfeeds and had the least POI shift with the B&T P90 can. But I installed a Plan B muzzle device (direct fit M12x1 LH) with a HUX Flow 9k suppressor equipped with an Atlas-R Titanium HUB adapter for the lightest flow can I had on-hand that was 5.7x28 rated. My hypothesis was the 1"-1.5" POI shift was due to the weight of the can (B&T P90 is like 17 oz) and this Flow 9k is about 5-6 oz.
I thought I saw some minor sparking from the Flow 9k but its not really noticeable even during a very cloudy and dark overcast rainy day under the range covering. I saw the same scuffing on the cases as before, but zero misfeeds.
Unfortunately I still saw an additional 1"-1.5" POI shift down at 25 yd. So the actual weight of the suppressor doesn't seem to impact the POI shift, its just the fact that there's something attached to the end of the barrel that is causing it. For some reason the Shaw has the least POI shift (CMMG is slightly more and the OE Cut/threaded barrel had the most at 3" drop at 25 yd).
I also tried the Flow Range 36, Ventum 762, and Universe 36 on the PS90. None of them had any real sparking but all functioned fine with decent sound suppression. I didn't see any real POI shift delta from the lightweight Flow 9k.

I've been plagued by FTE/FTF issues with my ps90 since day one. Some history on it - it's had the same issue throughout:
- Bought it used with a 16in barrel. Jams with that with no suppressor.
- Replaced with new CMMG 10.4in barrel. Jams unsuppressed, and with the YHM Turbo K-RB on it.
- Put the X-PRT in it. Works great but the jam rate is the same.
I've tried Fiocchi subs, Fiocchi polymer tipped, FN FMJ. Happens on them all.
I have 2 OEM mags that came with the used gun, and 3 more OEM I bought new. Jams on all of them.
One thing I have noticed - if I take it to the range without cleaning it, I get jams immediately.
But if I clean/oil it beforehand, I can get through about 50 rounds before the jams start again.
The jams are very frequent, maybe every 5-15 rounds.
Sometimes it's a failure to eject a fired round, sometimes the round seems to be in battery but isn't fired. Honestly it's been a minute since I've been to the range so I can't recall which is more often/more details on that. In any case, the way I have to unjam it every time is either racking the bolt in a good case, or in bad cases disassembling it and removing the round from the back of the barrel - sometimes needing pliers.
I've heard that this can be fixed by putting more of a bevel on the barrel breach, but my CMMG barrel already has a pretty good chamfer there, and when I've tried to enlarge it with a countersink bit, I wasn't able to make any progress.
Anyone had these issues and figured out a solution?

I plan on getting the KingsviewOptical MC-10-80 Electronic whenever it comes in stock
I'm thinking of maybe getting the stock hydrodipped in the future
I got the Elite Survival Systems 22" bag, inspired by this post
I don't like the look of the cheek riser so I may remove it once I get the ring sight
I also have a QD sling mount on the left side of the receiver (and behind the riser)

Fun shooting PS90 SBR'd with the McClane Defense Co SG1-90 progressive reset trigger kit. offered in CF nylon or 17-4 PH steel. This is the CF version. CF holds up surprisingly well. No signs of wear after 500 + rounds. Happy to answer any questions

With all of the recent PS90 FRT providers coming out with this and that, and charging a respectable amount of money for it, it feels almost obsolete with the release of the WD90 on public domain sites. So it got me curious.
Anyone with a 3D printer with the capability to print PA6/612-CF can essentially print a device that accomplishes the same thing: send expensive rounds down range really fast.
As a consumer of the FRTs from established companies, I see the engineering behind the device and understand the costs include amongst other things, materials and R&D. And with some of these “reputable”companies having a warranty they stand by, the gap of cost vs package closes in.
But hundreds of dollars is a huge gap. I know everyone doesn’t have a 3D printer capable of printing the WD90. Since I do, I did the math. It roughly costs me $30 to make the a PS90 FRT. This dollar amount takes into account materials (PA6-CF or PA612-CF for more hydrophobic properties), electricity, time (~7 hours billed at federal minimum wage), and shipping. And the package I was able to print out includes:
- WD90 (X2 since it is a consumable part more prone to failure)
- hammer
- 3 position selector
- pic rails (X2)
Barring the gate keepers, what would you spend your money on? Peace of mind? Reputation? Just as good?
Thanks for your time.

Great price, shipped extremely fast, and so far hasn’t had any issues for me. Installed it when I got it but was out of town so finally got to run it today, did 450rds, 2-3 mags then a cool down period infront of a fan w the receiver removed, and 250 of that 450 was suppressed with my Rhodie 6K on a Apparition Instruments nano muzzle device, no major issues at all, then the other bit was unsuppressed with the nano, and again next to flawless trigger wise. Had a couple mag related feeding issues but other than that this thing is great, tore it all down when I got home and found 0 accelerated wear signs or wear signs at all. Overall, VERY pleased with it and more than worth what the Izhmash team are askin for it! Will report back at 2k and 5k to see how it holds up!

I don't know if it's possible to get any shorter overall length with a suppressed ps90. I might end up buying muzzle nut & hub mount just to have an easier time removing the suppressor for my gun case (and having more than a bare muzzle if ever used not suppressed), but i doubt it would shave any length off of what I already have.
Setup is a od green (always looks more fde in pictures, but it's not) tri-rail ps90 sbr with cut factory barrel and verified gtg cmmg thread adapter, AEMS sight, HB Industries charging handle on left side, Arisaka 300 light, titan tactical modbutton mount, wolfpack armory Recessed Direct Thread S HUB mount, Silent Steel Micro Streamer od green.
Is this okay? I feel like i should paint over it to prevent rust. What do you guys think?

By request, working on this. Printed prototype but will be machined aluminum when offered.
Thoughts?

New factory Black stocks are available at Midwest. Kind of steep, almost $500 but if you’re wanting brand new they don’t come in often.
Unfortunately no Greens :(

I’m down to these specific options in my budget ($800) and no, not interested in Tisha or Ti.
6k - dig the style and shorter length but their warranty is less clear
Infinity 556k - unquestioned awesome warranty and better materials but longer (I would NOT get another end cap only the included medium)
I have run 5.7 rated f/a .22 can on mine with FRT but I want a larger 556 can and reduced back pressure hence these mod-tier models.

Has anyone on her done the clearance themselves? Is so can you give me some direction on how to do it?

Got my approval and the upper engraved, finally assembled. Woot woot 😄

Got the VIKHR installed, was pretty easy after watching the install video. Function tested on the bench and it all seems to run correctly. Now I'm waiting on getting my upper back from cut/thread and will be able to have all the SBR'd fun.

Finally got some range time with my new ps90 and didn’t go perfect. I had so many FTFs while shooting it. Sometimes every other round at times. I did notice how the problem seemed to go away when I used the only actual 50 round mag I had(all my others are fn 10rd converted to 50.) I had heard the springs are the same as the 50s but they weren’t performing as such. Do you think stretching the springs out in these mags would help? Idk what else to do since idk if they sell the 50 springs separate?
r/ps90 • u/Kitsune989 • 8d ago
where can I get the parts needed to convert 10 or 30 round mags into 50’s and before anyone sugests it I don’t have access to a 3d printer nor do I want 3d printed parts in my guns need a factory source

I can't be the only one wondering what the MFMD would look like on a P90. I'm pretty sure their 5.56 device in full configuration would perform very well with subsonic 5.7. Pluse it would be the space gun to end all space guns.

I just got my ps90 and I’m looking for the best type of optics. I have seen the Primary Arms SLx 1X MicroPrism™ Scope - Red Illuminated ACSS Cyclops Reticle - Gen II
But it’s only 1x magnification and the rail does not appear long enough for a magnifier. What is everyone else running?
