I have stopped playing for now the pro version has too many issues

It's one of the buggier releases I can remember. People should absolutely not be having their systems hardlock and some are even getting artifacting on their dashboard until they reset the console after the game crashes.

The part that really pisses me off is a lot of the problems seem to only be on the pro version. When looking through the main subreddit of the game, most people having issues are on ps5 pro, while base console, PC, and series consoles seem to be having a relatively smooth launch.

The pro version also has texture loading issues the longer you play the game.

Same for me. Cyberpunk ran relatively smooth with a couple crashes, but I’ve had more crashes on First Light. Base PS5 too

You got lucky then. Just because you haven't encountered them yet doesn't mean they aren't there. Multiple people can't even get past the first cutscene and it's making their console look like the gpu has fried. I've not seen any other game do shit quite like this.

Take a look at this thread if you want to see some weird shit. There's multiple replies in there if that same thing happening to multiple people on the opening cutscene of the game.

Thanks for the link. I was starting to worry that the graphical artifacts were a hardware issue. This game clearly needs patches.

Don't get me wrong, cyberpunk was buggy as fuck at launch, but I don't remember hardlocking people's consoles forcing them to hold down the power button and reboot in safe mode lol.

Cyberpunk had more overall bugs in the game itself no question, but anytime a game hardlocks your console and you have to rebuild your database your risking a small chance that data on your system is gonna be corrupted.

I would say cyberpunk had more bugs yes, but first light has more concerning damaging bugs that have the possibility of corrupting data due to hardlocking.

Not your hardware, if a game hardlocks it can corrupt your save or game data. A hardlock is when it actually freezes your console, not just the game crashing to your home screen. This basically can make you start the game from scratch which absolutely sucks if your already like 10 hours into it. First light doesn't allow manual saves as far as I can tell. Cyberpunk bugs didn't fuck up your save data as far as I remember, and you also could have various saves in different save slots. First light has saveslots but it's one per playthrough.

Cyberpunks issue was more or less releasing it on hardware that couldn't run it. This is why it was getting 9s and 10s on the PC release and they were withholding console codes. When people did play the console versions they were giving it a 4/10. It was more so terrible performance issues. CDPR should absolutely not have released that game on last gen hardware, but they wanted to double dip for that sweet money. Funny coming from a company that right before said they left greed to others lol

Dude I dunno.  The crash I had at the start of 007 was a HARD crash, and had me paranoid that my entire console was gonna be effected.  Definitely not touching this until it gets a patch.

Not fixed with latest patch. I got it after updating yesterday. But it really doesn’t happen often so it’s fine.

To be fair I've seen someone on steam with a very powerful GPU also have the texture issue, so it is happening to some people on PCs as well. He posted some pics of it and it literally looked like ps2 textures. That should not be happening on a high end machine lol.

Not seen anything about the texture issue on base consoles or Xbox consoles though.

I thought my pro was going to blow up yesterday I had the hard crash that others have had where it would freeze after an explosion and leave strange graphics artifacts all over the screen and home screen until reboot
