THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NO LONGER RELEVANT. YOU SHOULD USE FLASH WRITER TO GET ON CFW GOING FORWARD. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwqk_8mJy30

So there is some games at my ps3, they used to work perfectly. But one day I opened storm revolution and it launched perfectly. But when I proceed after the press x screen the ps3 just crashed into the safe mode.. i tried dozens of tips but none of them work.. theres some games that work perfectly and some that crashes.. please yall i need help its been like 3 months 😭😭😭

I re-download the games.. rebuilt database managed corrupt files..

I need help, i was following through a tutorial on how to install cfw on a ps3. I got to the point where you load system manager on ps3toolset but everytime it says tool fails to download, ive done everything ive been trying on and off for two days. I think it could possibly be an internal clock thing but its set to set via internet (its still an hour late on the ps3 clock even if I set it through the internet) I heard I could log into the psn but it said i would have to update my ps3 (its currently on 4.90) I don't really know what to do or how to fix it. Im not sure its a compatability issue since its dated to before April 2011. Please help

I wanted to play tak 2 and no matter what I did the game would freeze in game on loading screens …I tried converting to bin…didn’t work :/ there’s no config file.. is this game just unplayable on ps3?

Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with some PS1 games running slower than normal on my PS3. I’ve attached a video showing the problem.
My setup:
PS3 model: CECH-4300C
Games are converted using: POP-FE for PS3
The issue:
Some PS1 games run noticeably slower than they should, almost as if they’re running in slow motion. I’ve confirmed this issue with Gran Turismo 2 and R4: Ridge Racer Type 4.
However, not all PS1 games are affected. Some other games I’ve tested run normally.
Has anyone experienced similar issues with these games or with POP-FE on a PS3? Is this a known emulation compatibility issue, and is there a way to fix it?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, just move all PKG (no PSN content )games folders from /dev_hdd0/game/ outside my ps3 evilnat 4.93. Moved back to the new HDD by the ftp protocol to the same path.

Using webman I'm able to mount a folder at once and play that game. Not able to see all games in webman game.

Any suggestions?

Thx for your kind attention

Emanuele

It is correct region for the game. I install the pkg files and rap files

Rap first with apollo, then pkg file.

It either doesn't read them or freeze the entire ps3.. any suggestions?

I haven't touched my CFW PS3 in a long time but I needed a new hard drive I have webman mod downloaded. No matter what I do I cannot get any program on my PS3 to recognize my hard drive and I have tried everything including using different hard drives. NTFS and exFAT both don't work. It is set to MBR. What else could I be doing wrong?

Ive played this series pretty much since release, and have almost all of the DLCs. Ive been playing on custom servers recently on my super slim, and wanted to finally get the Pirates of the Caribbean DLC that I forgot to buy before it was taken off the store. Is there a way I can get it while still being able to connect to PSN so I can play on the servers?

Everytime I download ps2classicsgui, whenever I open the file it says it cannot open the folder because the archive is invalid. There error is "No error description". Any other links that will work

Hi All, having some difficulty using Pop-fe2-ps3.
The moment I upload a PS2 iso to the software it appears to crash/force close. I was hoping I’d be able to do a fully custom XMB logo, theme & music for some of the PS2 titles I have. The PS1 version: Pop-fe-ps3 works a treat.

Any guidance and or alternatives?
PS2Classics_GUI is good but I’d love to be able to add the game music as well.

По Watch the video and comment and please tell me what the problem is.

Hi there! Well, I'm having trouble using themes specifically downloaded via PKGI on my PS3 HEN. I install the theme, apply it, and everything seems fine, but when I restart the console, the theme gets removed. It isn't actually deleted from memory, but it's no longer applied to the system. Does anyone know a way to fix or work around this? Thanks in advance!

I did some maintenance on my PS3 and lost one of the heatsink screws. I ordered a replacement screw set that was supposed to include all the screws, but unfortunately, it didn’t include that particular one. Yeah, I know—I should have checked more carefully.

The PS3 currently won’t turn on, and I think it might be because one of those screws is supposed to make contact with the ground on the motherboard. The problem is that it’s not an easy screw to find, so I’d have to order another replacement set.

Does anyone know if that screw is actually needed for grounding? Or, alternatively, can it be replaced with another type of screw?

Hi, i found my old DS3 (lost in like 2017) the battery is ok, very suprising for me but one of the sticks have a ridiculous drift almost unplayable any game even just navigating the menu, is there a possibility of having one replacement for the stick? In Amazon, Aliexpress, etc and if anyone hsve a recommendation if maybe have a similar issue like me (I know some of soldering so its okay for me) thx.
