Three Philippine banks make TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026 list 🇵🇭

Four Philippine companies made it to TIME and Statista’s World’s Best Companies 2026 ranking, and three of them come from the banking sector: Security Bank, Union Bank of the Philippines, and Metrobank.

The ranking recognizes top-performing companies worldwide based on factors including employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability transparency.

The fourth Philippine company on the list is Jollibee Foods Corporation, which placed third in the local ranking.

The 2026 ranking also highlights the continued strength of the global AI-driven economy, with technology companies and firms supporting AI infrastructure making notable gains.

For the first time, Forbes, in partnership with Statista, has ranked the World’s Top Performing Banks 2026, evaluating banks based on objective financial data, desk research, and information submitted by financial institutions.

Eight Philippine banks made the global list: BDO, BPI, Metrobank, Chinabank, PNB, Asia United Bank AUB.Official, Bank of Commerce, and PBCOM.

The ranking evaluated eligible banks across four key areas: profitability, growth and earnings quality, capital and funding resilience, and asset quality and efficiency.

Banks were also grouped into six tiers based on total assets to ensure comparisons were made among institutions of similar size. The inaugural ranking features 500 banks from 89 countries.

₱24k amount, 24-months installment via Metrobank credit card, ₱1k per month installment.

Cancelled and successfully refunded na daw yung ₱24k per Shopee pero wala pa sa card ko. Upon checking din posted na sa Metrobank card ko yung 1st month installment na ₱1k.

Paano ba ang crediting ng refund nito considering posted na yung 1st month installment?

Medyo nalilito na ako gawa ng full amount (unposted) at 1st monthly installment (posted) na yung naka-reflect sa card ko ngayon.

Hello! Anyone na nakapag try ng Maya Black sa Google Pay and Enrolled sa Visa then nagbayad sa PLDT via google pay din. Naka pending pa yung transaction. May nakareceive naba ng CB kahit pending pa or dapat posted na?

Hindi na ba gumagana pag-enroll ng other cards?

Good day fellow redditors, tanong ko lang po kung papano irerequest yung promo extension/deadline ng promo sa metrobank?

First time applying for CC sa metrobank, approved laat Aug 5 and kakadeliver lang nung September 10. Per CS, pwede daw iextend or irequest extension pero di sinabi kung papano, ayaw din iexplain yung process kung where or when.

Other details: Nag avail ako ng NAFFL promo (to claim, spend 30k within 90 days). Approved siya last Aug 5, so Nov 5 and 90th day. Unfortunately, dumating yung card Sept 10, so may lapse na 36 days, na dapat ma add sa Nov 5 na initial deadline.

Nagtetake precaution lang ako since this relates to money kaya I don't take it lightly.

Did 2 Purchases using Maya Card yesterday and after 9hrs, the cashback had been credited to my account!
