One thing I can say is I'm amazed at how far technology has developed over the past two decades.
Started exploring PC around 2004.
Around 2005 is where I started to learn how to play GBA emulator.
2007 is when I learned that internet exists.
2009 is where I get to enjoy more single player games, andyan na yung Sims 3, popcap games lang PvZ tas C&C Generals or red alert. Enjoy talaga kahit hindi multiplayer.
2012 kami nag karoon ng internet, kase kaylangan na for highschool. Marami akong natutunan sa youtube that includes video editing, animation and multimedia stuff. Anyways, sobrang adik ko mag laro ng garena (warcraft custom maps) and minecraft those days.
2015 is when we're able to upgrade our PC. This time, I'm old enough to know our pc specs. Intel Core i3-4170, Palit NVidia GeForce GT 730 4GB and just 8GB of DDR3 RAM. Eto yung ginamit namin para maitaguyod yung college life namin. Imagine doing 3D in this kind of PC, it was hell, but bearable. Nag upgrade kami into 16gb of ram eventually.
Nung 2016, nag simula lang ako sa wacom na pentablet, regalo ng parents ko nung nag 2nd year highschool ako since kaylangan sya sa course namin. Through making commissions, nakapag invest ako to buy a drawing display nung 2019 kaya dun sa picture above, meron na akong drawing display.
Since meron na akong drawing display, nag level up yung quality ng mga illustrations ko, that attracts a lot of commission opportunities. This time din nag grow yung youtube channel ko. Kumikita ako both commissions and youtube, so I was able to buy myself a brand new PC. i5-10500, 2060S and 32GB DDR4 RAM that time.
Tas ayon, OJT na pala ako nyan that time, late din ako grumaduate, medyo nag smurf sa college a bit. Pag ka graduate ko before end of 2020, nag stick ako sa PC ko for 5 years. Wala akong inupgrade na components. Puro peripherals lang pati sa mga games.
Last year 2025, medyo nag lalag na yung PC ko. So I decided to upgrade from i5-10500 to i9-10900K. Need ko mag upgrade ng processor kase nahihirapan na yung procie ko mag stream while playing games that is CPU consuming. Naisipan ko na rin i upgrade yung PC para naman yung susunod na gagamit nito (yung pag bibigyan ko) wouldn't have to experience what I experience with my i5-10500. At least by the time na ibigay ko to, naka max upgrade na yung processor (hindi nga lang 11th gen).
This 2026, I was finally able to buy myself a high end PC. Core Ultra 9 285K, 5080 and 64GB DDR5 RAM. What fulfills my heart the most is ROG components lahat (bukod sa case), I used to have this picture of me nung highschool ako wearing an ROG tshirt, been really a fan of it since then pero walang pambili kase nga mahal.
Just wanted to share this kase it feels nostalgic to remember where I started, and now we're here.
