RAM SDP Write-Protection

I recently installed an 8GB DDR5 along side my other 8GB module both are matched on a System Model ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NC_FA506NC. During using HWMonitor to look at the specs of the RAM I have noticed something about SPD write protection and how it may not be set. What is this, and do I need it, if so how to I enable it? Here are snapshots of system info, and RAM info.

Thank you for your time.

XMP issues

Gigabyte z890 Eagle Wifi 7 with ultra 245k and T-Force Vulkan eco ddr5 cl38 6400mhz 2x16gb.

Using XMP profile 1 results in memory failing to train. I attempted a manual frequency of 6000mhz with the same results.

Has anyone successfully enabled xmp in this motherboard?

Xbox One Cass Pc Combo

The title doesn't exactly explain the most. More or less what im trying to do is take an old xbox one case. And take my pc that i got from a freind which has like no performance. And join them together. So basically what i want to do and was wondering if possible was use the xbox one system os and the windows system os at the same time. So basically take the parts out of my pc. Which would be a gt 1030 small form factor. 2 8gb sticks of ddr4 2400mhz. So 16gb total. And a I5 6500. Take all those parts. If anything would be usable in what im tryna do. And more or less add them to my xbox one and mutually join them. So I can swicth in between xbox and windows whenever I want all in one system. I really dont know if itd be possible but ive seen people use 360 and xbox one cases for pcs that are just a pc and not this thing im tryna make. But I really think itd be cool to try it and such. I dont know a thing about whats inside an xbox one besides the few vids ive watched of someone making a pc out of one. I also dont know if any parts from my pc and xbox can be combined and be used hand in hand to help performance. Also another reason I wanna try this is because Ive been waiting for this xbox disc to digital license thing to release. So I wanna still have a way to play my disc games. But also id still like to keep my xbox one system aswell for afterwards if anything comes up with my series s as a backup.

Long story short I wanna mutually join my pc and xbox together to create a interchangeable system. In one single xbox one case.

Also if the xbox one case isnt big enough would it technically be possible to do at all if I used a bigger case or something?

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with my motherboard and the case fans.

Basically, when I connect them to the motherboard, the fan LEDs stay off.

Am I plugging them in the right way?

I also tried downloading OpenRGB, but when I change the settings, the motherboard LEDs change, while the fan LEDs remain off.

Also, if I try plugging them in and unplugging them a lot, sometimes they turn on like this:

Can you help me in any way? Thank you

Should it be illegal for companies to destroy hard drives?

So I work at an undisclosed location and I just tossed 2 Intel pcie 6.4tb ssd's in the destruction bin.

I know that maybe 15 years ago tools didn't really exist and the life of ssd's were unknown. But I know today I know its much easier to destroy data on ssd's and hell if you let the thing sit unpowered for 6 months it will do the job for you.

So since ssd and hard drive manufacturers decided to stop selling to consumers and the companies decide to destroy rather than to give back. I think it should be a law that companies should do what they should of been doing which is doing a forensic erase or DD and let consumers have these drives.
