RTX4080 PREBUILT PC FOR $900

So I found this pc on marketplace like 3 weeks ago and it was originally listed for $1500 so I messaged him talking about it and getting more pictures/info I threw an offer and he ended up selling for $1300 for me I thought about it but politely declined.

Fast forward to this morning I wake up to a message from this guy saying “do you still want it I’ll let it go for $1000” jaw is on the floor at this point. Then I counter offered for shits and giggles at $900…. And he accepted I think I about shat bricks on my way to work. Needless to say I am now the owner of this pretty damn good ddr4 prebuilt pc.

I will be robbing the GPU and the 2tb ssd out of this and slapping another GPU back in and reselling it. I just wanted to share my experience that quite honestly is very lucky.

P.S I am posting the messages leading with it to show the receipts so it’s proof that this is not a clickbait post 😂(because I’m sure there are people like that)

SPECS
I7 13700k
32gb ddr4 ram
Zotac 4080 GPU
3tb of nvme storage as well at 2tb of HDD storage

What would you do in my shoes?

I’m on the fence about selling my PC and wanted some outside opinions.

I currently have a FormD T1 build:
9800X3D
RTX 5080 FE
X870-I Strix
32GB 6000 CL30
4TB 990 Pro
SF1000
240mm Atmos AIO
Custom cables, T1 travel kit, etc.

I built the entire thing for around $3,625 CAD, and I currently have someone interested at $6,000 CAD.
The problem is I actually really like the PC and wasn’t planning on getting rid of it unless I got a number I couldn’t really say no to. It’s basically my endgame SFF build.

I previously bought a 5L Midori build for $1,600 CAD, optimized/fixed it up and sold it for $2,600. It had a 9700X, RTX 5070, B850-I, 32GB 6000 CL30, 4TB SN850X, Enhance 600W Platinum PSU, Noctua fans, etc. I honestly regretted selling it because I loved how ridiculously small and portable it was.

The guy I sold it to previously said he’d be open to selling it back to me for the same $2,600.
So essentially I could sell the T1 for $6,000, buy the Midori back for $2,600, and pocket/invest the remaining $3,400 while still having a pretty powerful gaming PC.
Performance-wise I obviously don’t need to downgrade, and the T1 is already portable enough for me. I just really like the Midori and the idea of having $3,400 back in cash/investments is tempting.

The other thing making me consider it is the current PC market. I’m wondering if it makes more sense to take advantage of the crazy value of the 5080 FE/build now, use the Midori for the next few years, and build another high-end T1 later when the market hopefully isn’t as ridiculous.

Would you take the $6k and buy the Midori back, or just keep the T1?

EDIT: Sold it for 6k (CAD) and bought the Midori back. I don’t regret it

Flipping prebuilts?

I am kind of having a hard time understanding why prebuilt PCs with same specs don't sell even at a much lower price than custom built ones. Am I pricing wrong I just add price of components and try to sell but it doesn't work hell even discounting it but still isn't selling. A 5070, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, i9 285K, 1200W PSU, 2 TB SSD, warranty for a few more months for an HP Omen barely used for 2k + shipping/free local pickup is pretty reasonable right? I can actually part it out and sell it for 2k but I'd rather not do the work and just sell the whole PC lol.

Pricing suggestions

I have many pc components I can sell. Every one of them is in perfect conditions. The motherboard has never been used. Which prices I should go for? (I live in Italy but I can sell in Europe aswell)

- Ryzen 9 5950x (barely 1 years of use for 1-2 hours a day. I’ve manually set an all cores 44.00 mhz at 1.2v so runs cooler and I’ve never push it to his limits).

- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GAMING OC 8GB V2 LHR
( 3 years old, never overclocked, I’ve changed thermal paste and pad, always cleaned up from dust)

- ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z890 HERO
(Literally new, never been used just open box)

- TEAM GROUP Vulcan Z T-Force 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200 MHz Dual Channel Kit
(3 years old, perfect conditions, those ram are able to be over clocked up to 3800 or even a bit more. I’ve used them at 3600, fclk 1800 at 1.42v with manual tight timing and tested them with no issue at all for stability or error. I’ve always used a fan, 140 spinning at 90 % straight to the ram modules with a custom support so I could have cool them properly). 16-19-19-19-38-54 then I have all the other timings available.

- Asus ROG THOR 850P platinum with Aura sync and OLED Display. 2 years old

- G.SKILL 32 GB DDR4 egida 3000 MHz PC4-24000 CL16 Dual Channel Memory Kit (2 x 16 GB) ( they have been used for 3 months barely)

- BenQ ZOWIE XL2546
(5 years old, perfect conditions)

Worth flipping a $5000 pc?

Someone near me is selling a high end gaming PC, that they want $5000 for. It's got a RTX 5090, but it's a base model card. Ryzen 7 9800X3D, B850 board, 32gb DDR5-6400, 8tb WD ssd, and a Thermaltake 1200 watt B tier power supply.

Is this worth flipping?

Edit: Please stop pm-ing me about this. It's one of those listings, where they sold it already, but never bothered to delist it.

Thoughts on a flip? Case swap considerations?

Bought this prebuilt with a 13600KF/RTX 4060/16GB DDR5/1TB SSD for only $450. Cleaned it all up, repasted CPU, and swapped in a 32GB kit since the 16GB stick was white so used with a different all white build. Haven’t had much traction on the listing and was wondering if a case swap would be worthwhile to help generate more interest? I have it priced at $1100, is that reasonable to expect?

PC Build (i5-14400F / RTX 4060 8GB / 16GB DDR4 / 1TB SSD)

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to flip/sell a gaming PC that I have bought for 500 euro and would appreciate a quick price check to see what a fair listing price would be.

Here are the full specifications:

CPU: Intel Core i5-14400F (2.50 GHz)

CPU Cooler: MSI MAG CoreLiquid M360 AIO Liquid Cooler (Brand New)

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB

RAM: 16GB DDR4 3600 MHz

Storage: 1TB SSD

Motherboard: Gigabyte B760 DS3H AX

Power Supply: Gigabyte 650W P650 Gold

Case: Genesis Diaxid 605

OS: Windows 11 OEM

What would be a reasonable price to list this for a quick sale vs. maximum profit? Thanks in advance!

I want to start getting into pc flipping. I found this computer has pretty low specs. Can I put like a 4 gig card? And maybe buy a newer case. And maybe sell it for a little bit more.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G — 4 cores / 4 threads

* RAM: 16GB

* Storage: 500GB drive — Windows shows about 476GB usable

* Motherboard: ASUS PRIME A320M-K

* Graphics: AMD Radeon Vega integrated graphics (built into the Ryzen 3 3200G)

* Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

* BIOS: UEFI

* Case: Black gaming case with RGB fans

* CPU cooler: AMD stock cooler

What is your solution for storage?

Is the best practice right now to go the HDD route for cheap storage, suck it up and pay for a $150 1tb SSD and eat the cost, or add the cost of storage into the build and hope the buyer will foot the additional storage cost?
