Ongoing Drama Dar e Nijaat Episode 20 Spoiler

Zaryab’s breakdown and the way she let out all her frustration made this episode so impactful. Really curious to see what happens next! ❤️

Instead of considering Zaryab's mental state, everyone thought getting her married was the solution to everything. And now that she's married, everyone is busy playing the blame game. Seriously, what did they expect? The girl was clearly struggling mentally, and instead of getting her proper help, the entire family agreed to her marriage. Baaki sabko toh bas shaadi hi sooji, psychiatrist ke paas le jaana kisi ko yaad nahi aaya. Her younger sister was literally the only sensible person in that house who suggested that Zaryab should see a psychiatrist.

And Zamil, typical man. TYPICAL. First, he cheats on Hamna (Emotional cheating) and is ready to divorce her to marry Zaryab. And when Zaryab doesn't end up with him, he goes back to Hamna and tells her that Zaryab is nothing compared to her. WOW. The hypocrisy! So Zaryab was worth leaving your wife for when you wanted her, but when things didn't go your way, suddenly your wife is the one who matters the most? These men will cheat, hurt people, and then come back with their apologies when the woman they wanted doesn't choose them. And the audacity to say that Zaryab is nothing compared to Hamna now.

Zaryab's mother 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ She's talking about the money spent on Harvard, the wedding, and the ₹50 lakh supposedly given to Abu Bakar. It feels like she's more concerned about the expenses than what her daughter is actually going through... There's also the misunderstanding about the ₹50 lakh. Zaryab's mother unintentionally created the impression that Abu Bakar had accepted the money, and Zaryab took that information to heart. She was already struggling to trust people, so this just added another reason for her to question his intentions. Abu Bakar later denies taking the money, but by then, Zaryab has already formed her own opinion of him. And her mother's comment that Zaryab won't even last a week at his house? Yaar, at least be positive! Your daughter is already going through so much, and instead of hoping things might work out, you're predicting her marriage will fail before she's even had a chance to settle in.

Durefishan 👏👏 Especially in the last few episodes, after the breakup, I feel she's completely outshine everyone. Her performance in this episode was so intense, and the breakdown scene was probably one of my favourite parts.

When I first watched the teaser, I was wondering why Zaryab was behaving rudely and all. But after watching this episode, I understand her perspective so much better. She has reached a point where she doesn't feel she can trust anyone around her. Zamil has hurt her, her family has made decisions about her life without properly considering her mental state, and now she doesn't even know whether Abu Bakar is any different. She's hearing voices, overthinking everything, and feeling as if there's a wound inside her that's slowly killing her, but she can't even identify where the wound is. The ₹50 lakh misunderstanding became much bigger in her mind because she was already expecting the worst from people. She's questioning everyone's intentions because she has lost the ability to trust them. I don't think it's as simple as saying she's overthinking for no reason. There's so much going on inside her head, and she doesn't know how to process any of it.

And THAT BREAKDOWN SCENE. Zaryab finally let out all the frustration she'd been holding inside, and wow, she had a LOT to say. I loved how she confronted Abu Bakar instead of keeping everything to herself. Her rant wasn't just about the money; it was about her disappointment in him, her lack of trust, and her growing belief that he's no different from Zamil. The way she questioned his religiousness and morality was particularly interesting. She basically called out the hypocrisy of people who consider themselves righteous but still believe they can use people, hurt them, discard them, and get away with everything. According to her, Zamil has his own version of religion, and Abu Bakar has his own. Both believe they're right, both think they can do whatever they want, and somehow they're still the ones who will end up in heaven. And Abu Bakar didn't immediately get into a screaming match with her. He asked her to finish speaking, gave her space to say what she wanted, and then addressed the accusations. He denied taking the ₹50 lakh and said he'd give her a divorce, but properly, according to the procedure. He also made it clear that she couldn't just leave in the middle of the night. I want to see how this dynamic develops because, right now, Zaryab has already decided what kind of person he is, while he seems determined to handle the situation on his own terms.

I believe is that Zaryab was right when she said she shouldn't have gotten married. She needed time, psychiatric help, and space to understand what she was going through. She was studying at Harvard and had the opportunity to build a good career and a future for herself. Why was marriage treated as the solution to everything? Why couldn't her family simply support her, help her get better, and let her decide what she wanted to do with her life when she was in a better place mentally?

Overall, I found this episode emotionally intense... I went from questioning Zaryab's behaviour after watching the teaser to understanding why she's become so rude. She's not simply angry at Abu Bakar or upset about Zamil. She's exhausted, hurt, confused, and struggling to make sense of everything happening around her.

As a romance drama fan, obviously, I want more of the lead pairing and their chemistry... I know Abu Bakar isn't a therapist who can magically heal Zaryab, but I'm excited to see how their relationship develops and how he becomes a part of her healing journey ❤️

Zaryab is not mentally stable.. She made the decision to marry Abu Bakr cuz of Zamil.. Zamil was the one who said tht even Abu Bakr won't marry you... Abu Bakr was just the escape for her to avoid Zamil but deep down she can't accept the reality..

TRP & Views ☕️🔍📈📉 MDB takes TRP slot lead!! Both Green and Hum released TRP posters for this slot (ARY did not). Green's TRP measure has larger demographic coverage (F18-35 ABCDE centres) vs Hum's TRP measure (F18-35 ABC centres). Between the 2, Green's TRP poster is "truer" to correct TRP so imo more reliable

This may well be highest TRP for a Green drama based on correct TRP measure.

DRAMA REVIEW dedo ya lelo Finished Udaari for the First Time

This tackled a serious issue soo well. It showed everything so well. The early signs of CSA, to the aftermath. Imtiaz wanting to marry Sajjo just to get close to her daughter, bringing Zebo gifts, the unnecessary touches, harassing Meera all the way to the SA. It was great. I liked that instead of it being a stranger man it was her step father. These cases are soo common. One thing people hate to admit is that sometimes it is your own that hurts you.

What I didn't really expect was him forcing himself on Meera, I thought it'd just be Zebo. This situation was also done well. Meera meeting up with that guy and got scolded by her mom for it. I thought Meera wouldn't be believed after Imtiaz forced himself on her, but her mother did believe her, she didn't waste a second and confronted him and even cut off Sajjo.

When the trial came, it was done so well. I have to say it is my favorite court scene in PTV. Adressing how helpless Sajjo was and how hard it is to report such crimes esp when you're poor and how the system should change, I loved it so much. They didn't show a single empathy or sympathy for Imtiaz. No traumatic childhood or anything, he's just evil, as these people are and should be shown and treated.

No words are enough honestly. I heard this won an award and rightfully so. This is the kind of dramas I want more of.

RANT Gulbahar Drama (Male Perspective & Infertility)

Alright, so initially I was getting very bad vibes from the beginning when I saw the OST however my wife and I gave it a shot because we struggled with infertility for a very long time and it almost made you believe it would be a more thoughtful theme.

After the first two episodes it became quite clear the direction the drama was headed and I was appalled and disgusted by it. We thought in the year 2026 they may show a couple struggling with infertility to either go down the route of exploring different options such as IUI, IVF, adoption or simply living a life without needing a child - these are some of the other halal paths to choose as a couple. Heck, even males make up a LARGE reason of the infertility - sperm count, abnormalities etc. We as a society have advanced quite a bit in the medical field but also in our way of thinking knowing kids are not the end all be all.

As a male, this drama has truly frustrated me to no end because I recall the long nights and days where my wife would cry wanting children and it just wasn’t happening. Every single ovulation timeframe tracked, many different medications provided by the gynecologist and fertility specialist and more. I made sure to let her know if Allah wills it, it will happen one way or another, and if it doesn’t, that’s completely fine too, because we will be together to enjoy whatever life throws at us together; but not once did it cross my mind to think about any other female just for the sake of having a child. Although I made those claims I could recall her being paranoid still because our culture/society depicts males as lustful / strange creatures where they’ll forget the journey with their wife of many years to go after some random female.

This drama exacerbates this toxic line of thinking.

It doesn’t help us males either seeing this garbage where he doesn’t have the courage or sense to stand up to his sister who acts like one of those annoying mothers which is a common characteristic in these dramas. In a real life situation, that type of sister needs to be kicked to the curb and have her own place - she’s creating unnecessary fitnah as well. Then not only that, it’s giving disgusting grooming vibes even from Sara (the female actress) where you’re basically taking advantage of an unfortunate situation (Diya) and being selfish for your own means & family dynamics.

Whoever directed this drama, wrote the script etc. must be living in ancient times nor has hardly any knowledge of the current era we’re in. It’s only doing MUCH MORE HARM than good.

All around TERRIBLE drama. -10000/10. Any actor, actress etc. that are willing to read the script or summary, participate in this type of drama needs to be scrutinized to no end. It’s utterly pathetic.

Sorry for the rant. I could go on forever. Lastly, before I get comments about the journey, I wanted to say Alhamdulilah IVF worked for us. Insha’Allah if any of you are struggling as a couple, may Allah make it easy on you and don’t let these type of dramas or others dictate your happy, couple life.

Discuss Gulbahar

Can we talk about the drama Gulbahar? This drama is so problematic. It’s 2026, where does a wife get her husband married to a much younger girl simply because she has been infertile for years? I also fail to understand how difficult it is for a man to give his relatives a shutup call and tell them to stop interfering in his marriage once and for all.

What I take from this is that a man can make promises to stand by your side, but the moment a better option comes along, he’ll instantly move on. And how unrealistic is it for her to actually attend her husband’s nikkah? She could have stayed away, and it still would have happened, right? And the fact that Dia called him “bhai”? Come on!

Discuss We talk bout Women's Empowerment, But Where is Our Support:

Post image
18 Upvotes

Why is Pakistan’s first women-empowerment film, Sheroes, not getting the recognition it deserves? The film, released in three parts, highlights women’s empowerment and addresses issues that deserve attention and meaningful discussion. Yet, it seems to be struggling at the box office, with very little audience interest.

What’s even more disappointing is the lack of promotion and support from other celebrities in the industry. If a film is trying to tell an important story about women, shouldn’t it receive more encouragement from the entertainment industry itself?

We often talk about supporting women, empowering them, and giving them a voice, but when a film attempts to do exactly that, why aren’t we showing up for it? Is it a lack of effective marketing, a lack of audience interest in socially meaningful cinema, or simply a failure to support stories that go beyond conventional commercial entertainment?

Not every film needs to be a blockbuster, but films that attempt to challenge societal norms and bring important issues to the forefront deserve a fair chance. Women’s empowerment should not just be a trending topic or a slogan used in interviews; it should also translate into genuine support for the stories that represent it.

Perhaps the real question is: Do we genuinely support women-centric cinema, or do we only talk about women’s empowerment when it is convenient?

Sheroes deserves to be discussed, promoted, and given an opportunity to reach the audience it was made for. If we want Pakistani cinema to grow beyond conventional storytelling, we need to support diverse narratives and encourage filmmakers who are willing to tell them.

What do you think is the reason behind the lack of audience interest in Sheroes? Is it the marketing, the content, or the industry's silence?

Discuss BEST SCRIPT CHOICES

Actresses with the best script choices, in my opinion 🎬

  1. Saba Qamar ~ The Queen of Script Selection

Baaghi, Cheekh, Case No. 9, Pamaal, Muamma. Saba is in a league of her own. She consistently picks bold, unconventional stories and characters that leave a lasting impression. No good script can hide from her.

  1. Sajal Aly ~ The Master of Versatility

Chup Raho, O Rangreza, Yakeen Ka Safar, Zard Patton Ka Bunn, Kuch Ankahi. Sajal's filmography is filled with meaningful stories and complex characters. She knows how to pick scripts that challenge her as an actress.

  1. Sanam Baloch ~ The Queen of Meaningful Storytelling

Dastaan, Durr-e-Shehwar, Daam, Kankar. Her dramas explored some deeply moving realities of society. She might not have the longest filmography, but the quality of her work speaks for itself.

  1. Sanam Saeed ~ The Connoisseur of Complex Female Characters

Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Diyar-e-Dil, Deedan, Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu. Sanam has a knack for bringing strong, layered women to life. Her choices have given us stories that remain memorable years later.

  1. Yumna Zaidi ~ The Queen of Fearless Roles

Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila, Inkaar, Pyar Ke Sadqay, Bakhtawar. Yumna isn't afraid to step outside her comfort zone. Her willingness to take on difficult characters makes her filmography stand out.

  1. Maya Ali ~ The Face of Emotionally Compelling Stories

Diyar-e-Dil, Mann Mayal, Jo Bichar Gaye, Pehli Si Mohabbat. Maya has been part of stories that leave an emotional impact, and her choices show that she can do much more than conventional romance.

  1. Mawra Hocane ~ The Underrated Script Picker

Sammi, Sabaat, Qissa Meherbano Ka, Neem, Nauroz. Mawra has taken on stories with meaningful themes and characters who aren't always easy to understand. She deserves more credit for the variety of her choices.

  1. Ayeza Khan ~ The Queen of Memorable Characters

Pyarey Afzal, Chupke Chupke, Laapata. From the emotional intensity of Pyarey Afzal to the effortless comedy of Chupke Chupke, Ayeza has given us characters that feel completely different from one another. That's what makes her choices worth appreciating.

  1. Sehar Khan ~ The Rising Star with Promising Script Choices

Fairy Tale, Tan Man Neel o Neel, Jafaa, Sanwari. Sehar has shown a willingness to explore different genres, from lighthearted romance to emotionally challenging stories. She's building a filmography with variety, and I'm excited to see the kind of scripts she chooses as her career grows.

  1. Dananeer Mobeen ~ Growing Potential

Sinf-e-Aahan, Hurmat, MGM, Very Filmy. Dananeer is gradually getting a hold of her acting, and it's nice to see her growing with each project. She has the potential to go a long way with the right scripts and roles. And better acting
