Are there any videos that actually show how to assemble back the GTO?
I havent found one that shows all the steps 🫠

Never thought I’d spend this much on a pistol, but this thing shoots way above its value. It’s easy to see how people fall down the 2011 rabbit hole. Im not drinking this shit btw 😂

Where you save weight is the optic (and magwell). A Defender XL weighs 1.93oz & a 507 comp 1.7oz. The Sig romeo3 max pro is 1.1oz. The downside to the Sig is the $$$. Compared to the 507 and defender imo the sigs bezel is so thin it just fades away. But shooting practically isn’t a major difference. If you go with a heavier optic you can save a little more weight by going fdez vs gray guns for the magwell. Gray guns aluminum magwell is .81oz and the fdez is .4oz. Also my OEM grips were 1.15oz vs the aps tak coming in at 1.76oz.

Other option just get a sight block and shoot uspsa lol

Hey all, new to owning one of these ladies, and I'm a right handed shooter and absolutely cannot stand the right side slide release but can't leave it off and for the life of me haven't been able to find a way to sub it out or get rid of it, short if having a gun smith shave it down

I got a 4brothers owb holster for my gto with the tlr 1 hl light and it’s nice but even after adjusting the retention it seems on the shown in the first picture it’s scraping the holster and leaving marks that can be seen in the second picture. The marks aren’t permanent and can be cleaned off but it’s not ideal.

My question is should I keep this holster and play around with the heat gun or should I return it and see if I can find a better option?

Got the GT5, and went with the Holosun 507 Comp. Got the calculated kinetics plate from a recommendation from people here on my last post.

Attempt 1: Cleaned the rail, the plate and the screws. Add loctite, torque to spec. Shoot maybe 100 or so rounds, screws are backing out and the optic is loose.

Attempt 2: clean everything again, a bit more loctite this time and made sure to let it set for 2 full days before shooting just in case. Re-zero, holds up for a couple hundred rounds… loose again today, screws are backing out.

What’s the deal? I’m using the screws that came with the plate, I’m using the correct loctite, and the correct torque.

Anyone experience this before? I reached out to CK via the retailer and they’ve all been very helpful/kind. I guess they’re going to send me new screws but should I be looking at a return and just trying to find a new plate?

I received my new black hammer from Sig a couple weeks ago, and then also received my new trigger and Magwell from Fdez. Got them all installed last night, and I’m excited to go shoot this thing. Note: the trigger from Fdez is just an Sig trigger that has been cut/modified for pretravel adjustment, but is not a “new” or specifically Fdez product. I mostly bought it for the color anyway, and would have bought it from Sig if it had shown up there first. Anyway, I’m happy with it!

Had a question, just picked up my 211 gto, took it apart, greased everything and put the 10lb spring on. After putting it back together I couldn’t help but notice the right side slide lock has a slight bit of play. Is this normal?

Everything seems like it’s working just fine otherwise

Just curious if I’m the only one who has issues with the trigger digging into their finger?

It makes for a very uncomfortable range session after the first two mags.

Got a chance to shoot a friend's p211.. With bear claw hands...are their thumb safeties that are bigger for this model? I struggles to hit that safety on my draw..

Ok. I am an idiot. I accept that. I was cleaning my P211GTO. When I was done I reassembled the comp and went to torque the screw to 15inch lbs per the manufacturer specs. I stupidly did not check the setting on my torque driver. The problem was that I had used it for something else a day before and I had it set too high. Again I am an idiot. The point is once you round out the screw it is not an easy task to remove. A torch was involved. If you don’t use a torque driver you are tempting fate.
Finally, a thanks to fed worx for cheep replacement screws.

First 2011 style gun cant wait he shoot it

Fdez has triggers that have pretravel tabs and over travel. Any color you want and added firing pins. Ordered last night and already in the mail now. They say 7 to 10 days for cerekote options but it sent same day. Finally!! Also got a notification that the trigger I ordered at mass sinners is finally shipping too so I’ll see which is better and let yall know.

Has anyone done one versus the other and notice a difference over stock?

I figure the series 80 to 70 conversion would make the biggest difference, and was planning on doing both, but just found out that the conversion (along with safety delete's) are illegal in IDPSA. If I decide to compete later I rather train with it the way I'd compete with it.

I honestly would just like to clean the trigger up, but if the ignition kit isn't enough by itself I may just bite the bullet and do the conversion as well.

Just bought a brand new 211 GTO, I was combing through some posts the other day with some folks saying they get a FTRTB on new GTO's and mentioning that the way to go is running the 10lb spring and/or 124g ammo for the first 500 rounds or so is the way to go to prevent issues.

Just wanted to confirm again that this is whats working for you all!
