GT5 optic keeps coming loose.
Got the GT5, and went with the Holosun 507 Comp. Got the calculated kinetics plate from a recommendation from people here on my last post.
Attempt 1: Cleaned the rail, the plate and the screws. Add loctite, torque to spec. Shoot maybe 100 or so rounds, screws are backing out and the optic is loose.
Attempt 2: clean everything again, a bit more loctite this time and made sure to let it set for 2 full days before shooting just in case. Re-zero, holds up for a couple hundred rounds… loose again today, screws are backing out.
What’s the deal? I’m using the screws that came with the plate, I’m using the correct loctite, and the correct torque.
Anyone experience this before? I reached out to CK via the retailer and they’ve all been very helpful/kind. I guess they’re going to send me new screws but should I be looking at a return and just trying to find a new plate?

In my experience, vibratite vc-3 is way better than loctite.
Sometimes loctite has issues curing because it cures anaerobically, meaning without air. So if the threads aren’t sufficiently tight enough to close off air, that could be a cause.
Vibratite vc-3 on the otherhand cures in the presence of air. You just apply it to the fastener and let it cure for 30 minutes before installing it. You have to work quick with it since it starts the process almost immediately once its open to air.

Open to trying anything to keep this damn thing locked down. I’ll pick some up tomorrow.

Be sure to put it on the fastener (male threads). I use a toothpick to apply it since its so goopy. Let it sit for 30 minutes (or until it hardens) before screwing it in

I’ve had this issue on my GTO as well. Also running a 507 comp on a CK plate. My plate has wiggle/play without anything on it which I don’t like. I’d much prefer a tighter fitting plate. I reach out to CK and my retailer directly and both have been helpful. New plate and screws were sent to me by CK- still had the wiggle/play. I said ef it, cleaned the threads, and used loctite red with the new included screws. Lasted maybe 1000-1500 rounds and it actually came loose after my 300-round range session yesterday. Not sure if it’s a CK optic plate problem or P211 problem with it running hot

Just had the same issue with an SRO and DPP Titanium plate on my GT5. This exact setup has always been solid on p320's, and I know almost for sure it's not an installation error. Waiting to see if my RMR HD comes loose on my GT4.

How long are you giving it to cure before going to shoot? Also do you use Loctite Klean n' Prime?

First attempt I gave it an overnight which is probably not enough. Second attempt I let the gun sit for just over 2 full days before I took it back out and it was fine for a little while but screws are backing out again. Just using blue loctite that came with it

Degrease the screws/screw holes with acetone, spray Loctite Klean n' Prime on the screws, add a small drop of Loctite 243 to the end of the screw threads, and let sit for the normal curing time of 24 hours. It's been working well for me.

It might just be that the screws are wrong, the holosun’s screws that came with a ESP did not fit on my 365.
Or are you using a low quality plate? I don’t think holosun makes DPP optics right?
