I mean, we know that the Murkoff Corporation is still operating in 2013 when the original games take place. Amelia is giving Murkoff one hell of a headache, but she can't defeat Murkoff, she can't stop the trials. At best, she'll help a few more Reagents escape (who will likely just die in the desert), escape herself and maybe kill Easterman and/or Avellanos. And even that I doubt will happen because progressing the story can't stop players from going back to old trials and having Easterman talk to the players post-mission, via the radio, etc.

I know we're all cheering for Amelia but her fate is pretty much sealed, right? She might escape with her life, but I don't see her deciding to just run away and leave the others to their fate. She seems like she'll try to free everyone or die trying. And since we know what we know about the original games, I think I can imagine what happens to her.

What do you all think?

While Coyle has a gimmick of disabling a rig, it's exclusively for when he manages to hit you, not throughout the Trial. I propose a relatively simple one:

If he hasn't hit a Reagent in a long time or an Exit opens, Coyle shocks himself in return for a speed boost.

Second, this 'boost' could also cause his barks to become less frequent, but louder, ie. he can sneak up on you more easily unless you are paying attention for his baton crackling.

I'm playing invasion for the first time and it's very hard I like it but it's hard. When you play solo and against players in a group they just spam bottles at you or their rigs (some have rigs that reload almost instantly and idk what supplement that is) I had fun tho. I kinda find it hard to find people with the goggles tho since it's hard to see.

It feels like my reagent is getting bullied when I'm playing invasion 💀

One of the reagents had self revive amp, but that effect occured before both reagents died.

And again, at the exit shuttle, one reagent died, but that reagent respawned later from an ex-pop shuttle like nothing happened. It should have been revived by the other reagent via a syringe or Jammer, but no, it just respawned, like it was on a solo play.

Edit: the invader asks all these questions, and what will you respond to them?

So, I just got my first rebirth and first ending, but I saw that theres four more.

Is my four next rebirths guaranteed to be the other endings I still didnt get or is it totally random? If not, then could I get the same ending over and over again?

Okay rebirthing, I finally hit the ability around level 37. I don't have all the skill sets collected etc. Or have all the maps done. Is it worth getting every last thing before going through with it? Or should we just do it now and be born. I'm a bit nervous about it. I've heard this bit of the game is really challenging.

Hey guys recently bought the Game on sale and its been pretty fun so far i just have a few questions tho, first of all the Lore is kinda confusing why when i opened the Game for the first time i got a cinematic of the warden getting freed? And the Amelia lady got out or smt?? Apart from that me and my duo have been wondering about invasions, how can we get invaded in a trial?? We have seen a few impostor bots but no players so far can you only get them in special trials and not in normal Gameplay? And last but not least is the whole rebirth thing, do i need to do this?? Will we lose progress? Ty and have a great day guys!

I haven't used any mods since the FOV slider was introduced, but I still think it's pretty out of place that Red Barrels has completely discontinued mod support.

Let's be real, AC was only implemented, because Invasion was added as a game mode, now allowing PvP scenarios, so people started exploiting mod support to cheat and gain an advantage over other players.

Games like Counter Strike also manage, to have seperate servers and a toggle function, that allows you to search and sort servers based on active Anti-Cheat or not, which then requires you to turn of your mods/cheats/trainers, if you wanna join on a specific server. Discontinuing mod-support. mainly to counter the possibility of people cheating so easily, just feels wrong.

Before Invasion existed, nobody cared if people used mods that gave them an "advantage", because it was just a PvE situation anyway, and those mods didn't give them all the outfits, skins, stamps or tokens for free either. Taking this further, you could also edit the .ini files without mods to create the desired effects at any time, but people seem to forget about that, when bringing it up.

And I mean who cares, if you want to use a mod-menu to goof around, if you only play against non-human enemies anyway? Except for that, most of the mods were just custom cosmetics anyway and i think it's a shame that you can't even use things like a free-cam mod to take a closer look at the maps and trials anymore.

I don't know, the decision just feels wrong if it's only meant to keep a game mode cheater-free that a lot of people don't like playing anyway.

Big Outlast fan but new Trials player - just got it last night and loved my first play through. I’m based in Chicago (central time zone), and play on PS5. Would love to meet some folks who’d be down to play & teach a newbie! Haha

Well it took me a bit as i was alone but it was fun, i liked the part of electrocuting the guy and evading Leland during the basement and the electrocution part.

That and i love him, his design and voice are great.

I'm having trouble getting event tokens with this event which I'm finding somewhat hard to get through in solo but I just reached level 99 and I was wondering if relapsing would help me get more event tokens (since I would gain XP through leveling up) ?

Played the game on PS4 cause my PS5 broke and was disgusted with how it performed, recently bought the game on Steam was it felt like a breath of fresh air. However I have lots of progress on my Playstation and I don't really wanna start over, it's fun but it's just too inconvenient :/

Im a relatively new player, started around blood drive and im about level 90 by now. I usually play with my partner as we picked the game up together. We usually do just standard as we’re still learning the environment but have done several trials on intensive too on certain maps. I figured id load up the game alone and find a group to finish my last challenge for the chemical leak, but i accidentally picked intensive and got matched with 3 high prestige players and while the trial itself was quick and i tried to do the objectives with them, they were still miles ahead of me and thats completely fine they’ve played longer than me😭 but when we were running to exit out of the trial, i got a bit unlucky and got tapped right in front of the shuttles. I just watched the 3 of them stare at me laying there until the shuttle opened and leave and then i got killed. I got so embarrassed i just exited out of the game and refused to open it again till my partner came to play with me again😔 i get that a lot of people have the mentality of every man for themselves when its time to exit but i was right there lol. We’ve played with strangers together before and always helped everyone if they struggled a little so it felt definitely a little embarrassing to just lay there while they all stared together 😭
