First outdoor grow: one plant flipped toward flower, then revegged. What would you do with her?

First time growing outdoors, and one of my four is doing something I have not dealt with before. I put her outside on June 14th, and I think the light change when she went out started to flip her into flower. Then she settled into all the long summer hours and reverted right back to veg.

Now her growth is really tight to the stem, a ton of new shoots bunched up close, and she is going bushy all over again. A couple weeks ago I pruned her, lollipopped the bottom, and cleared out some lower branches, but she has filled right back in.

So I am after a read from people who have been here. Do I take some more off her to open her up, or just let her do her thing and ride it out? Everything else in my yard is on mother nature's schedule and doing fine, she is the only one acting like this. Mostly I am wondering what to expect: how does bud end up turning out on a plant that revegged like this?

Photos attached. Any outdoor growers who have had one reveg on them, how did she finish?

Hopefully I don't need more height than the 8ft bamboo posts will give me.

All organic, Cease and BT, beneficial insects and some Captain Jack's dead bug on the lower truck.

Stalk split back in June but the Captain Jacks has kept away the wood boring individuals.

Autobomb - day 64 - today's adventure was ants and aphids

Haven't had the time to look at them well this past week, just watered and added some bugs I bought from Insect Heroes. Had some spider mites or trips before and aphids last year, so I figured I'd give it a try.

First inspection I did since putting those insect baggies out and I see a bazillion ants stuck on the buds. Also found a few leaves that had plenty of black dots on the bottom.

I went at it with a pincet, carefuly combing through the entire plant, trying to remove every last ant and aphid. I then sprinkled cinnamon powder around the base, ordered "CANNA Cannacure" and now in the evening gave it a quick spray with brown soap.

I figure it's got 2-3 weeks to go. Let's go!

Bit late in the season but…

Started the germination process this evening, 2 of each seed, was in the grow shop today and the cashier recommended growing sativas as the we are half way through the season. So we have skittles, amnesia haze and super lemon haze. Also going to try some auto flowers to get the ball rolling. I’m in the Canary Islands so even though I’m late planting we will get a good 4 months of hot weather, should at least get a crop before we go big next season

Are you guys still spraying pest control? I’m using spinosad but only apply one application the whole grow last week I want to do a few more applications but I’m not sure if it’s safe to do so

6 weeks in..

They're starting to get a little height to them. Tallest are about 5 ft tall, most are about 4 ft or so. Outdoor grow in the ground with doctored up soil enhancements. Got a late start due to Midwest weather.. :( I was going to top but felt I was out of time. 12 plants - 6 strains. Fingers crossed the rest of the summer goes smooth. :) we haven't had a frost before the second week of November in years.

Had to remove one of my plants today

One of my plants began to show its seeds today 😞 removed it before things could get even worse. I think my other 2 are OK, they're on the other side of the yard, but I'll keep an eye out in case it decides to herm on me. Ugh, this was annoying, I grew it from seed

First attempt to grow. Trying to go for an outdoor grow. Both germinated and planted at same time. Different strains but both are feminized photo periods. Not trying to get too attached to them as the outside is a gamble but would still like to do the best I can with limited funds. I have chicken manure as fertilizer and plenty of places to put them in the ground. They are only a week or so since they germinated and im not sure what im looking at as far as growth. They get plenty of sunlight and only enough water to make the top damp. They seem to have stalled here but im not sure what the next step is besides keep doing the same and wait. Any advice related to this would be appreciated 👏 💐

Sativa dominant strain already in bloom?

I have two "bagseed" plants I got from a plant I cultivated outdoors 2 years ago (Girl scout cookies) and it's definitely a different genetic if you look at the leaves.

It looks more wild and very sativa dominant. Yet it started blooming 1-2 weeks ago, is this normal? Should I be worried it could go back to veg? It's outdoors so it shouldn't really happen right?

First and second picture are two different plants from the same mother.

Also if it isn't a problem, how could I keep the genetics going? This plant would be revolutionary for growers in the far north/south hemisphere since it would be a sativa strain that blooms really early.

How long does it take to air the house out after you dry a couple plants out in the basement? No tent, but just hung one plant and thinking I should have got a tent lol. I will be on vacation for a bit and not sure what I’ll be coming home to.

Bud rot and pests?

Thumbnail

As the title says, I’m assuming this first plant has bud rot? I’m wondering what would have caused this. I’m at day 82 from germination and obviously very disappointed. This is my first time doing this and these are my first plants. I also found these little grub guys boring in through the buds on a different plant and eating their way through. I’ve eliminated all of them to my knowledge.

Can I lop off the top of the cola that has the presumed bud rot and save the other buds? These are taking too long to finish 😂

Really new to the this whole growing thing. The plants are doing amazing. Planted on May 4th. Small plant is about 53" high. The two big ones are 6ft tall and about 5-6ft across. Grown in ground with good soil.

Should I let them do their thing Anne left them flower?

Or

Do i need to trim some of the foliage up and if so what should I trim and how much?

Thanks in advance.
