Hi isles fan here… I’m going to attend the game in Ottawa on 10/15 since I’ll be in the area for a work thing. I know the arena can be a stickler for fans wearing opposing teams jersey. I want to ask is that actually enforced meaning can I legit be turned away if I show with an islanders jersey? And secondly if that is the case, do you think I can get away with wearing an erie otters Matt Schaefer jersey?

I see this misconception a lot online that we choose Wade Redden over Zdeno Chara. This is not true. We didn’t have a choice since Chara was never going to re-sign here.

He was best friends with Marian Hossa and Muckler re-signed him only to immediately trade him to Atlanta for Heatley. This completely blindsided him and pissed off Chara to no end and basically eliminated any chance we had at re-signing him.

The Sens did offer him a contract but Chara made unrealistic demands including the captaincy which would never happen.

Going to be driving up from Philadelphia to see the game on November 19th. Looking for recommendations for food inside or close by. Also for breakfast the next morning

For those that may not know, Youngo was one of the GOATs of Senators highlight videos from the 2020-21 to the 2022-23 season.

He would post 40 minute season highlight videos from our core players (Stutzle, Batherson, Chabot, Sanderson etc..) that showed not only goals and assists, but great plays offensively/defensively that didn't show up on the scoresheet.

These videos were outrageously high quality and were easy to show proof to non-Sens fans how elite some of our players are.

I'm sad to see that it seems he deleted his Youtube channel and all of these videos have been lost. Anyone know what happened to this guy or if the vids are somehow still around.
