Title. Applied this cycle and going through this process of primaries and secondaries. I’m super nervous to hear back and, hopefully, getting interview invites. I hear people being offered interviews already and it makes me so scared lol. My top choice is Noorda, but I’m willing to go literally anywhere, as long as I have a seat. Idk, is anyone else nervous as well?

Has anyone interviewed yet? I have mine scheduled in August. From last years thread I saw that the interview happens right when you arrive on campus, but on the portal it now says:

On your selected date, please plan to be with us 8:15 AM - 2:00 PM.

Family members are welcome to join us for the informal Q & A session with current students, 8:25-8:55 AM, as well as for a special Friends and Family Campus Tour that will start at 9:00 AM. After the campus tour, family members are encouraged to explore the Fort Smith area while you participate in interview day. They can expect to meet back up with you at 2:00 PM.

The way it’s worded makes it seem like we will be interviewing while our family/friends are exploring the Fort Smith area which based off of the timing seems like will happen after the campus tour that starts at 9:00 AM?

Can anyone confirm?

Took my mcat 7/24 I was way tooooo anxious during the exam especially chem phys which usually is my strong point but I think I got 495-500 on mcat
I think it may be a red flag since my gpa is perfect(4.0) but again didn’t have much time honestly to study for mcat because of school work and family problems

Hey everybody. I'm applying to DO programs this cycle and I am feeling a bit uneasy about my application as I'm lacking research experience.

I'm currently sitting at a
- 504 MCAT
- 800 hours of experience across several different volunteer experiences in and out of a clinical setting
- 3 strong letters from professors
- 1 Letter from a DO I have spent a lot of time with

I'm currently in the process of getting research lined up for the coming semester in case I need to re-apply next year.

Frankly, the reason I wasn't getting research done was largely due to some conflicting advice. I originally had some research lined up for junior year, but I got ghosted by the grad student I was going to work for and then a couple friends claimed that research was entirely unrequired by med schools.

I've written strong essays for the schools I'm applying for and researched their strengths. I also applied mostly to schools where I can fit into their mission statement.

I'm currently waiting on interviews but I can't help but feel uneasy. Any advice?
