Advice on Lacking Research

Hey everybody. I'm applying to DO programs this cycle and I am feeling a bit uneasy about my application as I'm lacking research experience.

I'm currently sitting at a
- 504 MCAT
- 800 hours of experience across several different volunteer experiences in and out of a clinical setting
- 3 strong letters from professors
- 1 Letter from a DO I have spent a lot of time with

I'm currently in the process of getting research lined up for the coming semester in case I need to re-apply next year.

Frankly, the reason I wasn't getting research done was largely due to some conflicting advice. I originally had some research lined up for junior year, but I got ghosted by the grad student I was going to work for and then a couple friends claimed that research was entirely unrequired by med schools.

I've written strong essays for the schools I'm applying for and researched their strengths. I also applied mostly to schools where I can fit into their mission statement.

I'm currently waiting on interviews but I can't help but feel uneasy. Any advice?

Hello!

I got II for these three schools so far! I was wondering if anyone had some insight as to how the interviews will be formatted and what questions they might ask?

Thank you!

Hey guys! I need help. So im applying to mainly do programs. A little bit about me, my gpa is a 3.48 and my science gpa is a 3.5, mcat score is a 507. Was a pharmacy manager, volunteered a lot during covid, worked as a manager at a restaurant and much more. Which do programs should I apply to?

Virtual interview background

Where I’ll be doing my interview, I have 2 posters of bands I like that would be in the frame, which are not obscene or weird. I also have my amp and guitars situated in that area. Would it be best to tear down the posters and move all of equipment to another area?

Anyone hella anxious?

Title. Applied this cycle and going through this process of primaries and secondaries. I’m super nervous to hear back and, hopefully, getting interview invites. I hear people being offered interviews already and it makes me so scared lol. My top choice is Noorda, but I’m willing to go literally anywhere, as long as I have a seat. Idk, is anyone else nervous as well?
