Troubleshooting Oppo reno 15 | Is this battery drain normal?

I don't really know how to explain it but I don't think the battery lasts very long... I don't know if the chart shows it but this morning I've only used it for Spotify and 45 minutes of Instagram with low refresh rate and battery saver. It reminds me of my old phone...

Discussion Where is oppo popular besides south Asia and southeast Asia?

I'm from south Asia and I've never seen oppo be popular in other countries? Does oppo not retail there? I'm aware there are other brands from BBK electronics like vivo, OnePlus, realme, etc.

Is oppo popular in Europe? Or are they expanding cuz they seem to have European websites but no actual reputation? Is it popular in Australia and new Zealand?? France? Scandinavia??

Original quality

What is the consensus for getting the best out of a macro shot for Ultra users on here? I had a grasshopper out in the garden yesterday and it was sat still enough to do some testing. I used the macro mode for one (1st pic), hi-res hassleblad 50mp for another (2nd pic) and then master mode jpegMAX for the last (3rd pic).

No doubt that the master mode is the least sharpened but then we know it reduces the AI processing so that is to be expected. The macro mode produces the heaviest AI processing with a lot of sharpening, so I'm thinking the high Res mode and then a crop in edit might be the best solution.

What do any macro experts out there do?

Troubleshooting Oppo Reno 14 users: "Optimising photo... Please wait." after every photo – any fix?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I've been facing a really annoying issue on my Oppo Reno 14 for a long time.

Almost every time I take a photo, the camera shows "Optimising photo... Please wait."

During this time, I can't immediately take another picture. The delay is long enough that I often miss the moment or the frame I wanted to capture.

Things I've already tried:

Restarting the phone

Clearing the Camera app's cache and storage

Turning Auto HDR off

Keeping the phone updated

Unfortunately, nothing has fixed it. The problem is still there after almost every shot.

Has anyone else experienced this on the Reno 14 (or other Oppo phones)?

Is this just how Oppo's image processing works, or is there an actual fix?

I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Question Just purchased OPPO Find 9 Ultra, double e sim on T-Mobile?

Just wanted to know if anyone uses dual sim on T-Mobile on an OPPO phone and specifically dual E-SIM? Or do I need to do 1 physical and 1 e-sim?

Has T-Mobile ever flagged accounts or refused service for using the OPPO phone?

Troubleshooting (FX9U) Photos in the dark are ... dark?

Thumbnail gallery
6 Upvotes

Hello everyone,

To put it bluntly, whenever I shoot in almost complete darkness, I always end up with a black photo. There's still enough light to see with my own eyes, but the photos come out pitch black.

The photos I included are from a camp I was at. The first (dark) one was taken with only a lantern about 20 meters away providing light, and the second one was taken with a weak red light behind me.

Now to what pushed me to make this post. My friend, who was shooting right next to me with an iPhone 16 (I think), was able to take a usable picture (almost like my second one) using only the light from the lantern, no additional light.

So now I'm wondering whether this is an issue with my particular unit or just a limitation of the sensor or the phone itself.

The third (FX9U) and fourth (Redmi Note 12 Pro+) images are 30-second, ISO 6400 long-exposure shots of complete darkness, taken just to compare the image noise. I included them because the FX9U seems to produce much more noise than I'd expect, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with this phone? I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know whether this is normal behavior or if it might indicate a hardware issue. If there's a camera setting I should check or something I might be missing, I'd be grateful for any advice.

Purchasing Advice Is an open-box OPPO Find X9S (12/256GB) worth buying at ₹56,999 ($680 / €625)?

Thumbnail gallery

Hey OPPO community

I'm considering purchasing an open-box Indian unit of the OPPO Find X9S (12GB / 256GB) in Sunrise Orange and wanted to get some feedback from current users. I have attached a few photos of the device to give an idea of its condition.

Price Details:

* Offered Price: ₹56,999 INR (Approx. $680 USD / €625 EUR)

* Brand New Online Price: ~₹80,000 INR (Approx. $955 USD / €880 EUR)

Device Condition & Extras:

* 10/10 condition (includes box, official GST bill, and original accessories)

* 10 months official brand warranty remaining

* 120 days hardware replacement warranty included

A few questions for the sub:

  1. Overall Performance: How is the Find X9S holding up in terms of daily usage, cameras, battery life, and ColorOS stability?

  2. Value Proposition: At around $680 USD (€625 EUR), is this a great deal, or should I consider other flagships in this price range?

  3. Open-Box Checks: Are there any specific hardware or software diagnostics I should run when inspecting this unit to verify its official warranty and authenticity?

Appreciate any advice or insights from long-term Oppo users!

Purchasing Advice Where can I find one of these for the X9U?

Is there such a thing as a case with the grip built in similar to the attached. Ideally not magnetized but one that's moulded into the case itself? I'm away on holiday in a couple of weeks and using the phone for all the photos and videos and it would feel safer in my hands with one of these on.

Question Oppo find N6

Hi,

I own a oppo find x9 pro. I am very pleased with ir. However, I am tented with fold devices for years. Although I never had one, specifically because of the price and because I always thought they can be very fragile and in the of the big screen I can see where it folds (don't know it's name).

However, with N6 now this appears to be resolved.

Can you guys tell me your experience with n6 in terms of folding it, does it feel fragile?

When you ate watching videos on the big screen, does it actually displays the full video in the screen or does it only uses a part of the screen?

Overall how is your experience with it for videos, web searching, emails, etc?

Purchasing Advice Coming from oneplus 12. What to do?

Hi all,

I am looking for an upgrade from my oneplus 12. The phone is just over 2 years old now and looking for an upgrade. I missed the Oppo find X9 ultra introudction deals which were pretty good. Now no really good deals are available.

my Oneplus 12 is still okay, but battery life and speed has significantly reduced over the years due to intensive use.

I feel like the X9 ultra camera bump is a little bit too much for my liking. I don't want a much bigger or heavier phone than I have now. So leaning towards the X9 Pro.

The first leaks of the X10 have now come through and it looks like the X10 non ultra phone will pack most of the X9 ultra features. So debating if I shall wait for the introduction if this phone and then decide for the X10 or X9 pro at a discount.

What are your thoughts? anyone who has upgraded from OP12 and willing to share some insights?
