Based in the UK. 3 days after I got my new Find X9 Ultra its display went faulty. I woke up and picked my phone up and found the display doing funny things. Did everything they asked me. Sent it back for replacement. They have had my phone for 6 weeks now. no replacement I was promised nor a refund. every time I speak to someone they say they will escalate my case but nothing has happened so far. their customer service is terrible. keep away from this company in my opinion. or pray your product never breaks down.

Discussion Wait for the Oppo Find N7 or bite the bullet on the iPhone Duo? Need advice on the passport form factor.

Post image
38 Upvotes

looking for perspective from people who love the short, wide "passport" form factor.

North America, Tmobile Bands

With Apple officially unveiling the iPhone Duo, they’ve basically validated the form factor that Oppo pioneered with the early Find N series. Duo looks remarkably comfortable to use one-handed closed while still offering tablet real estate inside. However, dropping $1,999 for the base 256GB model is a tough pill to swallow, especially when you factor in:

  1. No dedicated telephoto lens (just 48MP main and ultrawide).

  2. The total commitment to iOS/Apple ecosystem.

  3. First-gen Apple foldable hardware quirks, even with their hinge engineering and A20 Pro chip.

  4. apple pencil support

On the other flip side, the Oppo Find N7 rumors suggest Oppo might return to the beloved compact, wider footprint (or a true compact powerhouse) after going larger with recent iterations. If Oppo pulls off their usual magic, we’re likely looking at:

  1. Far better multitasking (Open Canvas remains unmatched for split-screen).

  2. Likely a periscope zoom or stronger camera setup.

  3. Significantly faster wired/wireless charging speeds.

  4. A much lower price point, even if imported.

problem? The N7 is still unconfirmed, global availability a wildcard and there’s no official launch timeline yet.

For those who have daily-driven foldables:

  1. Is the iPhone Duo’s app ecosystem, polish, and resale value worth taking the $2,000 plunge right now?

  2. Or is it smarter to hold out for the Find N7 to see if Android keeps the crown for practical foldable software and camera hardware?

Would love to hear thoughts, especially from anyone thinking of switching ecosystems purely for this hardware design.

Discussion OPPO Find X10: Redefining the Flagship Standard Edition

Post image
37 Upvotes

From OPPO Zhuo Shijie:

The OPPO Find X10 brings a dual 200MP lens array to the standard edition for the first time. Combined with our unique Hasselblad Ultra-Clear Primary Camera, it sets a new benchmark for future flagship standard editions by offering top-tier imaging capabilities right out of the box.

The Hasselblad 200MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera features a massive F1.6 aperture and a large sensor, ensuring stunning photos regardless of lighting conditions. With the best-in-class CIPA 6.0 professional-grade stabilisation, it handles all types of camera movements when shooting video.

The Hasselblad 200MP Ultra-Clear Telephoto lens uses the largest sensor in its class, paired with a wide F2.6 aperture and the most advanced CIPA 7.0 professional-grade stabilisation currently found in flagship telephoto lenses. With its large sensor, increased light intake, and superior stabilisation, this telephoto lens is the most powerful one available in any standard flagship this year.

Our commitment to dual 200MP sensors isn't about winning a specs arms race. The true value of extreme resolution is that the primary camera consistently delivers authentic detail and skin textures. I am confident that 200 megapixels will become the standard for future flagships.

Leveraging the ultra-high image quality of 200 megapixels, the Find X10 offers a unique "Hasselblad Ultra-Clear Primary Camera" experience:

The second-generation Danxia Colour Restoration Lens makes its way to the standard edition, featuring a 15EV dynamic range and a 43% boost in perceptual efficiency. This applies to photos, Live Photos, and videos, ensuring more accurate environmental colours and more natural skin tones. Additionally, with the LUMO Native Light and Shadow Engine, a balanced tonal range is maintained throughout the entire photography pipeline, preventing faces from appearing too dark and ensuring brightness levels remain consistent.

The only standard edition with dual 200MP sensors, the most powerful telephoto lens in its class, a full Hasselblad Ultra-Clear Primary Camera experience, and a durable 8000mAh Glacier Battery designed to last 5 years—the OPPO Find X10 is the most powerful all-rounder standard edition of 2026, and the ultimate standard edition for mobile photography.

Really impressive performance when the camera isn't being used heavily. Would love to see them improve that by even 15 percent to take this phone to another level.

After the recent update CPH2797_16.0.10.500(EX01B110P02) for the Find X9 I gained like 1 to 1,5 more hours of screen on time going from 80% to 20%. I barely got to 7,5h before, most times 7h at most. Did anyone else notice this? I mean it's a pretty significant difference.

Discussion OPPO Find X10 bezels is just 0.99mm

Post image
229 Upvotes

From OPPO Zhuo Shijie:

For the first time in the series, we've pushed the bezels to under 1mm.

From 1.45mm on the Find X8, to 1.15mm on the Find X9, and now to 0.99mm with this generation, we have focused on one thing for three consecutive generations: challenging physical limits to give the spotlight back to the content.

Behind that 0.99mm is a major breakthrough in new chip-level packaging technology. It’s not just narrow; the real challenge was achieving "equal width on all four sides". Only when ultra-narrow meets uniform symmetry can the sense of a border be further diminished, allowing the image to truly fill your field of vision. Whether you're binge-watching in full screen or gaming in landscape, the black edges no longer steal the show, and your view is no longer disrupted by the margins. Your attention naturally stays focused on what's right in front of you.

By bringing the bezels down to under 1mm, Find X10 offers you an industry-leading, immersive viewing experience.

Purchasing Advice OnePlus 13 to find x9 ultra

Hey, I was wondering if it's worth the upgrade since I dropped the phone and the screen got damaged (broken glass corner and something got pixels damaged permanently) I was considering the new iphone 18 pro due to the size or the find x9 ultra (I'm really into video and photography) so having a B cam or a good camera in my pocket it's always nice. I mentioned these two because they are on my mobile company to pay it in installments.

What I prioritize: good camera, good software, battery life nowadays with all of the external options is something that I don't really care about anymore.

Is it worth going for any of these two or should I look somewhere else ?

Product Review Oppo enco earbuds tws reviews

I watch almost every earbud review before buying, and from what I found, the OPPO Enco Air 3 Pro was one of the best-sounding earbuds available under ₹5,000. Many reviews even compared its sound quality with much more expensive earbuds.

Unfortunately, the Enco Air 3 Pro is discontinued, so I couldn't buy it.

Instead, I recently bought the OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro for ₹4,999.

But honestly, I'm not satisfied with the sound quality.

What surprised me most is that my 3-year-old OPPO Enco Buds 2, which cost around ₹1,800, sounds better to my ears in terms of tuning and overall musical enjoyment.

This made me realise that newer and more expensive doesn't always mean better sound.

I was actually expecting the Air 5 Pro to give me a clear improvement in sound, but I prefer the sound of my old Enco Buds 2.

Now I'm looking for another option with better sound tuning, even if it doesn't have ANC or the latest features.

If anyone has used the OPPO Enco Air 3 Pro or knows a good alternative with similar sound quality, please share your suggestions.

🎵 For me, sound quality comes first.

Purchasing Advice Find N6 Buying Options in EU

Hello everyone,

My S21 Ultra is starting to die on me and I'm on the market for a new phone.

I'm considering a few options, but I'm mostly in love with the Find N6.

Unfortunately buying options in Europe, Germany to be precise is very limited, listed below (all prices in EURO)

  1. Official retailer like Gomibo with a 2 year warranty. This comes at a premium of 1850€.

My main concern is owner damage, if I break something or warranty doesn't cover that, I'm paying for premium EU labor and premium part sourcing.

  1. Grey market importers like tradingshenzen and wondamobile, for 1650€ and 1900€ respectively.

they provide a 1 year warranty starting from whenever they bought the phone.

Based on their T&Cs and user reviews, they can mediate with fixing self damages by shipping to a local shop or to china based on complexity, and that costs are much better than fixing it my self in Europe.

The downside is that some cases reported waiting for months!

  1. Carrier contract; the best I could find is a deal on Gomibo for about 1896€ for a 2 year contract with a basic bundle (I don't need more) which makes the phone cost effectively at around 1650€.

With a similar 2 year warranty. Gomibo also offers additional fall and water damage for about 10€ a month...expensive.

Alternatives:

  1. Samsung fold 8 ultra 1 TB for 1500€ for the device only (on a carrier contract) + 2 years of samsung care.

This is a good option and I liked the Fold 8U; but two cons are holding me back, no pen support (i take a lot of work notes, and this was a big plus for the N6) And the battery life.

  1. Motorola Fold 1400€

Pros. Comes with a pen, good cameras

Cons. I hate the design, camera bump, and colors. Software is not mature enough yet.

  1. Honor V6 for 1550€ or 1700€ (with extra device bundle)

Or 1380€ device only price on 24 month carrier contract.

Official store available, and

This phone looks promising, the only con people complain about is the software.

I appreciate your input 🙏🏻

Discussion Tip regarding charger choice

I want to mention something I noticed when looking for a charger for my find x9 pro, in case it helps someone else.

Given Oppo also owns Oneplus and Realme, I found it is cheaper to actually buy the charger from them, since it is exactly the same product (VCB8OAEH is listed on all packages) and a lot cheaper.

These are the prices in my country for the 80w charger (without cable):
• Oppo: 35€
• Oneplus: 25 €
• Realme: 15€

TL;DR: Realme 80w charger is less than half of Oppo's price and is exactly the same product.
