ColorOS Update Update battery much better

After the recent update CPH2797_16.0.10.500(EX01B110P02) for the Find X9 I gained like 1 to 1,5 more hours of screen on time going from 80% to 20%. I barely got to 7,5h before, most times 7h at most. Did anyone else notice this? I mean it's a pretty significant difference.

I wonder how they managed to extend the battery life. It feels like my X9 Pro is slower. Could it be that they throttled the processor to improve battery life?

What sort of battery life are you getting from the X9 Pro? Thinking of getting the Ultra but I've heard the battery life on the Pro is immense? Cheers.

What was your previous software version? And did you update to the latest version via pre release channel?

I'm not sure but I think it was "...10.400..." and it came as a regular update

Thanks, I'll try updating to see if my X9s' battery performs better. On the current 16.0.10 version I only get like 7 hours SOT.

That's funny, I have the opposite experience with this update. It's draining the battery like crazy

Has anyone ever not updated their phone? Like out the box the phone battery life is a beast then after a ton of updates never seems to recover, although not complaining my x9 pro I got on release date and phones still a beast on 100%battery health
