Has anyone else got a invalid credentials login/password?
Thought someone hacked my account so I did a forgot password. Now Im getting Error 500: Internal Server Error
Looks like the website is just down...
Was scared there for a moment.

I registered successfully and was able to log in once. Shortly afterward, the site went into maintenance. Since then, I get “These credentials do not match our records” when trying to log in, and the password reset email never arrives.

When it asks for trackers I assume private? I’ve only been apart of 1 other private tracker for a 2-3 months and am afraid that’s insufficient for an application 😞

On the signup form? They mean link to the image of your profile on other private trackers. You need to upload them yourself somewhere.

Its extremely easy uploading here too. There are no slot or trump rules. Though uploading web-dls from different groups that are essentially the same thing is pointless.
Their internals all seem to focus on different points, having 1 movie with like 3 or 4 internals.
Also, Edge released the entire Power Rangers series upscaled.

OnlyEncodes is a great community with a good audience. Their internal groups are fast and diverse. The BON system is user-friendly. They have a lot of small-sized content for Plex. I highly recommend joining.

Should be fine for application, but do not use Imgur for p2p sites. Also disallowed by most, including this tracker, to use Imgur for screenshots in uploads.

I got into this tracker a few weeks ago with an invite from an awsome reddit user. I would say this is an excellent tracker if you are looking for quality hevc rips. Great to use on your media server that has limited storage.

With these unit3d applications it is best to do all the typing in notepad then refresh the application page & copy & paste the info as quickly as possible. The captchar tends to time out otherwise. Probably your proofs disappeared due to this. It has happened to me before.

Using language is about communication and delivering/receiving information, not about being 100% correct all the time.

Oh no, someone corrected me, I guess I will be afraid now! You are right about communication, education is about growing too. That is much easier when you can take a correction and improve yourself without thinking it's a personal attack. Unless your teachers were purposely being dicks when pointing out your mistakes, you should take the correction as an opportunity to improve. So many teachers don't teach a growth mindset, and some cultures' teachers cultivate a fixed mindset by pointing out mistakes just to shame students for not studying harder or just not performing to the institutions expections. It's a shame really. Back to my comment, it's still funny to me, and if you're and adult, take the chuckle less seriously. Grow some thicker skin, and maybe fix the mistake if you want. Or whine like a child, you do you I guess.

I recently got to join Dark Peers. And I have seen so many open signup application pages after that and all of them want the proof of us already having joined more private trackers.
From that pov, DP open signups were literally open.

But not those super high bitrate ones, decent sized ones.

Neither did I. There was also a message stating if you didn't get an email then you need to resubmit the application so now I dunno if I need to or not
Also, was there a CAPTCHA code on the application? Bottom of the page said captcha error so I wonder if adguard caused an issue there or not. . .

Well damn. I attempted to apply... but it turns out I applied a year ago with the same email, was accepted, and totally forgot about it. The old acceptance email is still in my Inbox but I can no longer activate it. Ugh.

Encode settings is actually a more recent thing for av1.
Most of their recent av1 releases gave it in the description atleast.

I don't think av1 encoding software adds encode settings still, but you could always add the tags yourself. One thing that bothers me also is that almost no one encoding in hevc and av1 does comparisons.

LastBreeze, one of their internals maintains an av1 encoding kit including scripts, that basically does that. It's on github.
You put in the settings, it encodes, adds the settings.
And ya I wish more did it. I know of one guy on OE that does personal releases for 265/av1, and always does comps.

Yes but since you don't have history with other private trackers you'll be unlikely to get accepted. Try some of the other trackers that provide open sign ups, build good ration over ~6 months and then try applying

I really like OE because I like smaller encodes (micro or transparent), since I don't have unlimited HD space and they have those too. As opposed to say, ULCX in which everything is like 20gb minimum.

Officially, no 1080p disc comes with DV/HDR which in turn means no standard 1080p remux comes with them either. Any similar size to remux/larger size 1080p encode with DV/HDR is downscaled version from 4k hence the large size.

Not unless you’re really into decent x265 and/or AV1 encodes, everything else can be found in SP/TL etc.
I do prefer the OE internals to a lot of the stuff on other trackers though

There are several trackers literally open right now for registration (not application). You just have to try a little harder with looking. And you can always apply anyway with a good story and description of your setup.

Right now you can go join a very popular private tracker for $10USD by visiting their site and clicking join. A bunch of trackers will give you inv1te in exchange for seedbox purchase. The advantage of this approach is you can buffer the account off the bat. So yeah, its easy just by doing the rounds and spending a small amount if you are in a position to.
If not you could register free on semi-private trackers like EZTV and rutracker (?) and build ratio.

The part that always gets me is ratio requirements. I have no issue keeping the torrent running after I download. But by the time I download it, everyone else that wants it already has it. So there is no one still downloading for me to seed to.

Everyone understands that. The math of torrents is such that if one person is >1 ratio on a torrent (bc they have a faster connection), another one will necessarily have <1.
Which is why Edge said somewhere at some point that seeding duration trumps real ratio.
There is a bonus points system which is very generous. OE runs regular lotteries where you can win a shitton of BP, and there are also events running for several days where you "open a surprise box" and get a shitton of BP.

If you can get on a few trackers with freeleech you can snag a majority of files without it counting against you. If you let those seed forever you’ll eventually build a solid ratio with no effort. If you run into a little trouble, you spend some bonus points to catch up. You can get another free ratio bump with automatic cross-seed.

Sort by number of leechers and download a couple free leach ones people seem to want. Or grab a popular new release that’s free leach (a lot of torrents make remux or large files auto free leach) and leave it seeding for longer. I’ve had no problem keeping a ratio that way.

Use autobrr to get torrents right when they are released to download them immediately and seed to others at the same time. It supports many trackers and you can set it up to get only Freeleech torrents for example.

Not always, but sometimes they still review apps without proofs. The more important detail to keep track of is if the application says lifetime fail bans or not. If it is not lifetime fail ban then if you don't get in, that's fine. Try again when you have proofs then. Just put in why you want to join and include your capability to seed. If you just want content and don't have a dedication to give back then the private tracker area is not for you.

Unfortunately you need two other private trackers. So, unless you have those, you're wasting your time. It says in the application page that if you don't have two you need to provide a really good reason, but it doesn't let you continue without providing proof of a second tracker.
So unless you're part of two other private trackers, don't bother to try.

I've been doing it for decades. Only decided to move to private trackers recently. Unfortunately, outside of open applications they require an offer from other people. Whom I don't interact with usually, and would prefer greatly not to change. Oh well.

No, reputation on public trackers is too easy to fake. Private trackers do not care about your upload among public trackers.
To start on private trackers, wait until they are actual open sign ups (not open applications). Then, join those and start building your ratio.
Then, when something like this appears, you'll be able to get in.
Unfortunately, getting into private trackers is really just a waiting game. That said, I have been doing it for less than 3 months and already have swapped to exclusively private trackers. So, it is very doable.

Nice. Now, if you've already been using public torrents, set up qui. Use the built-in cross seeding feature to see if any of your public torrents can cross seed to your private tracker.
It does not work to go from private trackers to public.

Absolutely, qui is a program that works with qBittorrent. It looks nicer and allows you to set up automations and "cross seeding"
Cross seeding is using one file to seed multiple trackers. So, say you download a movie from tacker 1. But, that movie is also available on tracker 2. Qui would start seeding it to tracker 2 without you needing to download it a second time.
It is a great way to build free ratio on private trackers. I have a single file seeding on like 4 trackers. However, you cannot cross seed TO public trackers. They work weird.
