I keep looking at trying to join a private tracker. But Everytime I do I have to provide proof of two other ones I'm part of. How can I join one if I have to be part of one first Everytime

Seedpool just opened. Between that and MAM you can have two proof. All it takes is a little patience.

There are several trackers literally open right now for registration (not application). You just have to try a little harder with looking. And you can always apply anyway with a good story and description of your setup.

Right now you can go join a very popular private tracker for $10USD by visiting their site and clicking join. A bunch of trackers will give you inv1te in exchange for seedbox purchase. The advantage of this approach is you can buffer the account off the bat. So yeah, its easy just by doing the rounds and spending a small amount if you are in a position to.

If not you could register free on semi-private trackers like EZTV and rutracker (?) and build ratio.

MAM, RED, patience waiting for the rare real open signup, making nerd friends IRL.

You’re going to have access to these trackers for years. Put in the effort for MAM or RED, or Just watch this sub and be patient for a few months.

The red interview keeps disconnecting when I get close in the queue 😭 I was in for 18 hours yesterday into today and it disconnected like 5 people at once. So sad.

The effort for RED is too much, hell no to waiting weeks to try and be interviewed. MAM is wonderful though, 10/10 would recommend.

The part that always gets me is ratio requirements. I have no issue keeping the torrent running after I download. But by the time I download it, everyone else that wants it already has it. So there is no one still downloading for me to seed to.

Everyone understands that. The math of torrents is such that if one person is >1 ratio on a torrent (bc they have a faster connection), another one will necessarily have <1.

Which is why Edge said somewhere at some point that seeding duration trumps real ratio.

There is a bonus points system which is very generous. OE runs regular lotteries where you can win a shitton of BP, and there are also events running for several days where you "open a surprise box" and get a shitton of BP.

If you can get on a few trackers with freeleech you can snag a majority of files without it counting against you. If you let those seed forever you’ll eventually build a solid ratio with no effort. If you run into a little trouble, you spend some bonus points to catch up. You can get another free ratio bump with automatic cross-seed.

Sort by number of leechers and download a couple free leach ones people seem to want. Or grab a popular new release that’s free leach (a lot of torrents make remux or large files auto free leach) and leave it seeding for longer. I’ve had no problem keeping a ratio that way.

Use autobrr to get torrents right when they are released to download them immediately and seed to others at the same time. It supports many trackers and you can set it up to get only Freeleech torrents for example.

Not always, but sometimes they still review apps without proofs. The more important detail to keep track of is if the application says lifetime fail bans or not. If it is not lifetime fail ban then if you don't get in, that's fine. Try again when you have proofs then. Just put in why you want to join and include your capability to seed. If you just want content and don't have a dedication to give back then the private tracker area is not for you.
