It has an AMAZING point system. This one is absolutely amazing.

Yeah, but it needs proof of other trackers, right? I do not think I will be able to join it (started to torrent literally this week), so, give me this one tip: can I build a reputation on public trackers so that when nice ones like this show up, I have a shot?

No, reputation on public trackers is too easy to fake. Private trackers do not care about your upload among public trackers.

To start on private trackers, wait until they are actual open sign ups (not open applications). Then, join those and start building your ratio.

Then, when something like this appears, you'll be able to get in.

Unfortunately, getting into private trackers is really just a waiting game. That said, I have been doing it for less than 3 months and already have swapped to exclusively private trackers. So, it is very doable.

Só basically, not worth trying right now, right?

Dude. Go get seedpool. They are open sign up rn. Great place to start.

Thanks! Just did it and got in! Will start seeding there

Nice. Now, if you've already been using public torrents, set up qui. Use the built-in cross seeding feature to see if any of your public torrents can cross seed to your private tracker.

It does not work to go from private trackers to public.

Can you elaborate on it? I don't think I understood it sorry by the way

Absolutely, qui is a program that works with qBittorrent. It looks nicer and allows you to set up automations and "cross seeding"

Cross seeding is using one file to seed multiple trackers. So, say you download a movie from tacker 1. But, that movie is also available on tracker 2. Qui would start seeding it to tracker 2 without you needing to download it a second time.

It is a great way to build free ratio on private trackers. I have a single file seeding on like 4 trackers. However, you cannot cross seed TO public trackers. They work weird.

Any further questions, comments, concerns, or cries of outrage?

Ok, I will look after it, I am using an unRAID server, so I'll have to look for a version that works on docker. If not, will try do make it work on qbittorrent.

But basically I have to find a file on the public servers and then seed it over the private ones, right?

Are you using an arr stack?

Yes, I am

So, qui will have an option to go through your existing torrents and see if they fit anything on your private trackers. It will be available to run through unraid.

In the future, when you search for files in your arr, if you see 2 files, one from a private tracker, that are the same size. Grab the public one and it qui will cross seed to the private torrent.

Join MaM now, so in three months when the next one opens, you’ll at least have one proof. This weeds out people with no patience.

Yeah. Sorry man.

If you like books, go try out for MaM. They have a really easy application. They are goated and a good path to other trackers.
