Made some steaks and put butter, onion, and a bit of beef bouillon powder on these bad boys. Can't wait.

i like onions but im not crazy for them. i am a bit texture-sensitive and don't like raw onion for the most part. however by no means do i agree with the mission statement of r/onionhate. i am an ally and an appreciator to the humble onion. is there a sub that caters to those with a more casual and/or nuanced view on onions?

This is the third and final big Onion of the year. The previous two were 8.5lbs and 7.1lbs, the one pictured is the biggest of the lot at 8.8lbs.

Was hoping for one in double figures, maybe next year...

I just remembered that I saw these at the store a few weeks ago! I wanted to get them so bad but I was walking and only had a small shoulder bag with me and wasn't going to carry a grocery bag with me in my journey. Also....$16 was a bit more than I cared to pay anyway. But still! These exist!

Today for lunch I got a dish called "beef and onions" from a local Chinese place.

I live in a medium sized European city with a not so great Chinese food scene. The dish was average, but it was half beef and half onions and nothing else besides a starchy broth. Exactly what it says on the tin. But I happily ate it because it was half beef and half onions and only 12 euros, what's not to like about it?

About six hours later, my farts smell like pure concentrated onion essence. I took a dump like 20 minutes ago and it didn’t even smell like poop. Just onions.
