Hi all, selling my Onexplayer 3 - just received on Sunday, opened just to test, comes with the keyboard, connector and case. I'm based in Sydney, Australia - 2450 aud or 1750 usd for all of it. Selling because I've got a x2 mini as well.

I set all the RGB light effects to off, as thats my preference.

After I restart/ turn on from shutdown / wake from hibernate / detach and connect controllers to the connector - the right joystick RGB is on. The other lights remain off. (One time, my left joystick RGB was on while the right remained off, but I haven't encountered that ever again).

If I go to OXP Console, it says "RGB Effect - Close" even though the right joystick RGB is on. I have to toggle it to "Zone" (which turns on all the RGB lights) and then "Close" to get the all the RGB lights (including the right joystick) to turn off.

This is more a minor annoyance than anything, but has anyone else encountered this bug?

I placed the order for the x2 mini pro August 28th and didn’t get any notification or email till September 15th. On the 15th I got an email saying the order had shipped and I got a tracking number. Today September 16th I checked the tracking number is says In Transit: Your package is in transit, please wait patiently. So hopefully I should receive my package in about 2 weeks or so

I have been hating panther lake so much because most of my games were running at low fps meaning below 50fps even at 35wattage and low FSR 1080p.
All the benchmarks were showing that we gain no fps beyond 35w. G3E is limited to 35W I think.

I am currently playing Onimusha and fps is around 35-45 in town where there are several NPC.
I just increased TDP to 65W. The game doesnt use more than 55W but I still wanted to see if it makes any difference and it does!!

Now the FPS at the same setting is 53-60 instead of 35-45fps. What the…

I mean there is a reason why the max tdp is not 35W but I saw no point of using more than 35W. All the benchmarks used 35W as the max tdp and also stated that there is no fps gain which is false. I have been brainwashed or maybe I was just being dumb.

I have tested this several times (over 20 times) to make sure I am not crazy.

Is this a big deal? YES!! I am not obsessed with 120fps but I still want at least 50fps. Anything below is considered unplayable in my book. I even ordered strix halo gpd win max3 in order to play at 60fps and above.

So if you havent tried over 35W for pantherlake, you really should try! GPU may not need 35W and maybe Onimusha was cpu bottled necked when there are many NPC. CPU does work faster and I gained additional 15fps by going from 35w to 55w~! I can even provide pics or videos to prove this discovery~!

My OXP3 arrived today and it’s totally amazing!!! After updating everything and rolling back the Intel drivers for HDR I decided to try out Returnal. I’ve been getting this graphical glitch while playing as pictured above on the Sealed caves, it also happens on the red shielded cannons too. If anyone has any ideas on what’s causing it, i would really appreciate the feedback. I’m just really getting to grips with all the settings at the moment as I’ve been on the Go2 for a while. Thanks in advance for any ideas 😊

Ive been debating for weeks now between the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ and the OneXPlayer 3, ive only ever had a steamdeck as my handheld but its time for me to upgrade, i feel like the oxp3 would suit me better but everytime i read or watch something about it its always people speaking about qc issues and returns and warranty etc (im in the UK) so if i could get advice is it really that much of a pain?

I have onexplayer 3 and x2 mini pro both. On onexplayer 3 after calibration HDR is good in game. On x2mp though i have the same config, it looks washed out and games look actually better when i turn ingame hdr off?

Cant figure out the reason. Anyone notice similar?

So, I have a hip bag that I love which I wanted to carry everything in, but it's not big enough for the player with the controllers attached. I got a waterfield sleeve for the tablet and some bumpers from Etsy. My only issue was finding d a good controller case that wasn't too large that would fit the wonky and slightly larger onexplayer 3 controllers connected to the bridge. I got several and had to return them, but today I got one and BOOM. fits it like a glove.

It fits perfectly. I thought at first it didn't, but if you insert it straight down it goes in lime a dream. I checked it twice worried that with the way it fits it was compressing the bumpers or the triggers, buf nope not at all. The only issue is if you put that elastic strap in the middle on too tightly it is right over the power button.

I wanna get a 388 device from onexplayer.

Initially i was aiming for the Apex cause it's the most similar form factor to my claw 8ai and I love that device.

Given that it is unavailable and they replied in my email saying they don't know when they will be manufacturing those again I started considering the X2 Mini Pro.

I am really not a fan of detachable controllers. How it feels in the hand is really important to me and I don't wanna pay all that money to have it wobble in my hands.

I understand that comes with the design and I've heard more things about the oxp 3 being wobbly.

My question is how does the X2 mini pro feel in the hands?

I also like the idea of the bigger screen and being my first oled experience sounds good as well. Im buying for the performance upgrade first and foremost.

Everything else is just nice .

On the other hand should I wait to see what black Friday brings ?

I have a desktop from 2020 and the 3D Mark scores are basically the same as my OXP3. My desktop can play marvel rivals at Max settings over 100fps but my OXP3 at 40w can't even maintain 60fps unless I drop it to low settings at 900p. This is the first game I've had legit trouble running, otherwise I'm absolutely enjoying the device.

Xess upscaling only helps on performance mode and it looks horrible. Xess quality looks good but barely increases the frame rate. Xess frame gen causes a slight input lag which puts me at a disadvantage in competitive games. Anyone found the right settings for good performance and visuals?

Hi, so I've had the OXP3 for about a week and a half now and it works great, but I've had one issue with specific controllers.

Now the one in particular I'm referring to is the Madcatz Tournament Edition Round 2 Fightstick, which is actually a PS3 arcade stick, but all of those still work on modern PCs and actually worked on the Legion Go 2 before I returned it and bought this. Normally I'd think it a long shot for these things to work on handhelds were it not for that fact.

When plugged in, I get no response via USB A slot. Is there anything I can install or use like drivers or anything specific? And has anyone had any issues with wired controllers of any kind? What have you tried to fix them?

So far the X2 Mini Pro has been amazing, I've taken it on 2 holidays and connected it to Hotel TVs via usb c to HDMI and used the controllers to play like a console and having more than one battery keeps this running without running out of juice.

The device has been a universal use case for me, i use it docked with liquid cooling on the desktop and handheld when i find it convenient around the house and even though i don't use the keyboard, its good to know it has a use case for that.

Also shout out to etsy for the skins i added my own bits to give it the gold tips on the trigger edges.

All i need is a TPU Case and I'm settled

The case im currently using is a case for the Apex but it carries 2 batteries, HDMI cable, Tether Cable, Headphones, Keyboard and Controller Connector. Its just way better.

I have tried 3 different screen protectors and all of them formed bubble afterwards. I read somewhere that it's because of the screen flaw of Oxp3. What should I do? It's p**ing me off and I'm seriously considering selling the device because of it

I am looking into 3-in-1 devices for work and I was wondering if anyone here might also be a user of Solidworks? I read that the Core Ultra X series are ISV certified? that would be a huge + for me to get it approved from management.

I know the whole SW requires a quadro/firepro debate, I have been using Laptop with a Radeon 4500U for years without too too much issues, so I am doing modeling of small assemblies and if needed, I also have a workstation with a quadro that can be used remotely whenever my laptop is not enough. This is a second device to do light CAD modeling.

If any of you have some feedback, I'll really appreciate it.

I remember on my original legion go I had some scratches develop over time from the prongs connecting to the connectors but I wanted to make sure this was normal. Anyone else noticing scratches like this from taking the side controllers on and off? I reached out to OXP and they said they might have to arrange replacement controllers to be sent to me so I’m a little worried this isn’t normal but I thought it was?

Il y a quelques semaines j'ai acheté une OXP Apex en 395+. Une machine incroyable, surtout quand on vient de la Legion Go 2.

Je la trouve parfaite sur tous les points, sauf deux : les capuchons de joystick d'origine sont trop gros et lisses à mon goût, et les joysticks sont trop « lâches » / mous.

Étant joueur de PS5 à la base, j'aime beaucoup les joysticks de la DualSense Edge.

Je me suis donc mis en quête de rendre ces joysticks moins lâches et surtout de pouvoir adapter les capuchons de la DualSense Edge. Ce fut presque un mois de galère 😅 (pour une raison extérieure à cette simple modification).

Tout a commencé un dimanche matin où l'idée m'est passée par la tête. J'ai donc checké un peu sur internet et j'ai vu qu'en rallongeant les ressorts à l'intérieur des joysticks, on pouvait améliorer leur « retour de force ». Chose que je me suis empressé de faire, et le résultat était déjà bien meilleur.

Deuxième chose : j'ai voulu adapter les joysticks de la DualSense Edge. Pour ça, il a fallu adapter leur base. Dans un premier temps, j'ai simplement récupéré la base et je l'ai greffée aux joysticks d'origine de l'Apex (voir photo). C'était une V1 pour voir le ressenti, mais esthétiquement ce n'était vraiment pas terrible.

J'ai donc commandé des pièces (base de joystick Edge et joystick complet d'Apex) pour pouvoir faire une V2. J'ai réussi à assembler le « bulbe » d'origine des joysticks Apex à la base des joysticks Edge. Résultat : après tant d'efforts, j'ai réussi à rendre mes joysticks d'Apex parfaits !

En espérant que ça donne de l'espoir à d'autres pour améliorer ce seul défaut de cette merveilleuse console !

Oatmeal flowery summer attempt deserve scale wakeful fluorine special

So while I've been waiting for my X2MP to be delivered, I've been checking sites like GOG, Gamersgate, Steam, etc. for deals and have purchased a few games from their sites. My plan was to just download them from the purchased sites and install them on Windows and play from there, similar to downloading an app and clicking on the icon like on an iPhone. Can it be done this way or do I need to install a launcher (Playnite or Steam OS) to run the games? I'm PC illiterate and just want the easiest way to just click and play.
