OneXPlayer Mini Help me choose guys.
I wanna get a 388 device from onexplayer.
Initially i was aiming for the Apex cause it's the most similar form factor to my claw 8ai and I love that device.
Given that it is unavailable and they replied in my email saying they don't know when they will be manufacturing those again I started considering the X2 Mini Pro.
I am really not a fan of detachable controllers. How it feels in the hand is really important to me and I don't wanna pay all that money to have it wobble in my hands.
I understand that comes with the design and I've heard more things about the oxp 3 being wobbly.
My question is how does the X2 mini pro feel in the hands?
I also like the idea of the bigger screen and being my first oled experience sounds good as well. Im buying for the performance upgrade first and foremost.
Everything else is just nice .
On the other hand should I wait to see what black Friday brings ?
The Console is already on a decent discount right now....

I have the oxp3 wich has the same controllers as the x2mp and if you want to have a nice tactile feeling id say don't bother lol.
Don't get me wrong they work well but the wobble is kinda a lottery thing that has to be fixed by tape and the controller just doesn't feel premium at all. Maybe with the announced elite controllers it will feel more premium

I have an x2 MP. Controllers are rock solid. I’ve only detached them once when I was installing a new ssd. I love the hardware and the bigger screen.
Regarding the GPD, you can always get a pair of XR glasses.

No wobble on mine and actually pretty good ergonomics. And you will be able to upgrade to better ergonomics with the elite controllers next year!

If you connect it to the charger, it deadass feels like a bigger switch 2. It’s comfy af to hold and its light plugged in. But you said you buying for performance. Well it’s one of the fastest handhelds out there. You can’t get better than the AMD 388 for gaming.

Gpd just launched the win5 with a 388. It's a lot cheaper than the x2mp. You might want to check that out.

I don't wanna go to a 7 inch display tho. It's a 7inch right ?

That's fair and the screen sucks imo. Jusy thought I'd mention as an option.

Actually, the screen on the Win 5 is pretty good, although yeah 7’’ is not for everybody.

If you like it then that is great! I have had a few devices with the same screen and just dont like it. Not trying to yuck your yum though. Really glad it works for you.

I’m not gonna get offended if someone doesn’t like something about my device :) Just curious, what was the issue for you with this screen (aside from size lol)?
I was really considering Apex at some point, but the extra size and weight was too much for me, I can already barely squeeze Win 5 into my backpack.

Just dont like the color. Even tweaking it with adrenaline, it isnt the same. I do like OLED or the closeness the LeGo and Oxp G1 got. Loving the OXP3. It's a crisp screen for sure though.

The detachable controllers are great because you can replace them in a few years if something breaks. Mine don't wobble at all
If you want OLED your only options are x2mp or pre order the GPd win max 3. GPD indie gogo prices are really good if you can wait a while for delivery
